Truth and Ideals Epilogue:

Everyone had come so far. Everyone I knew had come so far, people and Pokémon alike; I knew that feeling all too well after becoming the Champion of Unova.

"Alright, Altair, you're up!" I called upon Altair to face the daunting Mythical Pokémon that was Vahirom. Vahirom didn't do much aside from brace itself for an incoming attack, I meanwhile channeled aura through my veins and allowed them to flow through me out towards Altair much like before.

Everything was all beginning to come together after all of these years; every pain, every sorrow I've had, all ditched away in favor of this final moment in the beginning of my journey. It had been fun to be traveling for so long, but even every story has to come to an end.

"AURA STORM!" Altair shouted as boldly as he could, as he fired the aura amplified ray of energy out towards Vahirom, as Vahirom, despite taking the hit, could feel its armor begin to degrade from how powerful Altair had become over time. Altair, having jumped back to the furthest away cliff, having used Aura Storm to propel him that far, suddenly rushed forward with an intense surge of energy surrounding him for the decisive blow.

Upon the impact being made with Altair's fist against Vahirom's head, Vahirom could be felt falling to the ground as I prepared a Poké Ball to hurl towards Vahirom; a Cherish Ball, to be specific, as I threw it at the knocked out Vahirom and proceeded to watch as it was drawn into the Cherish Ball as any other Pokémon would be to such devices, as it fell to the ground and began to shake as normal.

One shake, two shakes, three shakes… *click*

Every time I had heard that sound in my journey with the various Pokémon I had caught and had under my wing, even if only briefly, could be recalled each time by those sounds a Poké Ball made when you first caught a Pokémon and each other time after that.

As I moved to collect the Poké Ball and store it beside my belt, I looked upon Sirius as I noticed his calm, happy demeanor as he looked overjoyed yet stoic about the situation. I can't believe he's actually here after so many years of thinking he may have been gone for good.

"Come on now, Ash; let us go home and see your mother…" Sirius told me, as I called out Vahirom in response as Altair was brought back into his Poké Ball as Sirius and myself jumped onto Vahirom's back as we took off into the evening sky.

As we flew through the air, Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus flew alongside us, as on the ground we could both see Cobalion, Terrakion, Virizion, and Keldeo all following Vahirom with an air of honor and respect towards the Infinite Gray Mythical Pokémon. I could understand why all of them had such respect for Vahirom, truly I could.

As we landed at Nuvema Town, the Legendary Pokémon had dispersed and left for elsewhere in Unova, all the while Vahirom landed in front of our house as I called Vahirom back as dad and I stepped in front of the house and knocked on the door.

"Mom, we're home." I called, as soon enough, I heard my mother appear at the door as she initially looked confused as to who was beside me; the realization hit her like a ton of bricks, as her eyes widened as she covered her mouth and looked ready to cry at any moment. As I moved to embrace her, as Sirius embraced us both in response, Delia was equally embracing the two of us as she cried into Delia's chest as one hand affectionately held Sirius' head close to her, all the while the other ruffled my hair a bit happily.

"I'm glad to see our family reunited after so long…" Dad said, as he looked over towards mom as the three of us began to calm down and head inside as the sun was beginning to set. I simply had one thing to ask, considering it appeared my mom hadn't decided to cook dinner yet.

"So, who wants to have some pancakes?" I asked, as Raichu suddenly emerged from his Poké Ball and happily called out in joy, as my mom and dad both began to happily laugh, as did I in return.

My mom is the happiest I've ever seen her in such a very long time, and I'm happy that while my journey for now has come to an end, that everything I had truly desired to see from myself and others have come true; everyone is happy with the results of our journey together, and I wish that the peace that ensues will remain the same as well.

End.

AN: Wow. I can't believe I did it; I actually managed to live up to my promise of meeting this deadline after so long.
