What's up, everyone! This is GKC here FINALLY bringing you the next chapter of Saiyan of Fairy Tail. Apologies for how long I've taken to upload this story. I was caught up with things like life and video games. OC submissions are officially over. Also, if you have a suggestion for a pairing for Ren, I'm all ears.
In this chapter, we begin the Phantom Lord arc with some introductions from a couple Time Patrollers and a few villains that have joined Phantom Lord to face off against our resident Saiyan.

The Red-eyed Saiyan of Fairy Tail
Chapter 7: Through Dimensions! Time Patrollers Unite!
Toki Toki City - DBZ Dimension
Trunks arrived at the Supreme Kai of Time's palace, panting heavily as if he had run through a continuous marathon.
"Trunks, what is it?" The petite woman asked her long-time assistant and friend.
"I…*huff*... I managed to…*huff*...find a way to get Ren back…" The half-breed tried getting his breath back. "We use the Dragon Balls!" He stated in determination.
Chronoa looked at the young man in surprise, blink once then twice until finally… "THAT'S WHY YOU'VE BEEN GONE FOR OVER A WEEK!?"
Trunks winced at the loud sound of his boss's voice. He could already feel a migraine coming along so he had to quickly remedy this situation before his eardrums burst. "Look, I can explain-"
"You know as well as I do that crossing dimensions is an extremely bad idea!" The petite woman yelled.
"But it's the best chance we've got to get our friend back!" Trunks countered.
The Supreme Kai of Time paused then looked down with a sad look on her pretty face. "Trunks, I know you miss him, but we-"
"I'm not giving up on him!" The Saiyan half-breed exclaimed, surprising the Shinjin. "Ren's done so much for us and I won't leave him to some weird timeline outside of our dimension. He belongs back here with his friends and family! Don't you miss him?"
"Of course I miss him!" Chronoa shouted, silencing Trunks, who looked down at the short woman as tears spilled down her pink cheeks. "You're not the only one that cares about him, y'know!"
Feeling terrible that he made her cry, Trunks rubbed the back of his head. "I'm sorry. I guess I let my emotions get the best of me." He apologized somberly.
The two stood there in silence while Toki Toki chirped his name.
After a few more minutes of tense silence, Chronoa finally spoke up, wiping away her tears. "Alright…"
"What?" Trunks blinked in confusion.
"I said, alright. Let's get our friend back." The petite woman grinned widely.
The Saiyan half-breed had a similar grin as he pumped his fist in excitement. "Alright! I'll gather some of our strongest Time Patrollers for the mission."
"Do it. And remember Trunks: Once you use the Dragon Balls, we won't be able to bring you back until we find them all." Chronoa warned her assistant. "Are you still okay with this?"
Trunks grinned. "Hey, if it was anything else, I would be scared. But as long as I'm with my friend, we'll be okay."
The Shinjin rolled her eyes as an amused smile graces her youthful face. 'Saiyans…'
(Begin CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA by Kageyama Hironobu)
(Instruments) The screen opens to show brief looks of Ren's Time Patroller clothes before he punches the camera with a grin as it cuts to reveal the title as the background switches to show outer space with the sun and a few planets as well behind the title
(Hikaru kumo tsukinuke Fly Away (Fly Away)) The Dragon Balls fly through space before landing on Earth before it changes to show Ren flying through the sky as the Z Fighters pass by him
(Karada-juu ni hirogaru panorama) Images of Supreme Kai of Time and Future Trunks appear beside Ren as the Saiyan grins and boosts forward with a blue aura surrounding him
(Kao wo kerareta chikyuu ga okotte (okotte)) Shows Ren flying by Tien, Yamcha, Krillin, Gohan, Goten, Trunks, Piccolo, Vegeta, and Goku as the fighters boost upward towards the sky with the sun blocking their forms to the camera
(Kazan wo bakuhatsu saseru) Cuts to Ren fighting against a Namekian Time Patroller at the World Tournament Stage before the two fire off a ki blast that engulfs the screen
(Toketa koori no naka ni) The setting changes to reveal Towa & Mira with the demoness having a smirk while the android crossed his arms with a frown on his face
(Kyouryuu ga itara tamanori shikomitai ne) Shows the various Dragon Ball Z villains encased in a dark purple aura with glowing red eyes while a shadowed figure stands behind Towa & Mira with glowing red eyes and a devious smirk on their face
(Instruments) The screen cuts to show the Fairy Tail Guild and the Z Fighters charging forward with battle cries
(CHA-LA HEAD CHA-LA) Cuts to Natsu punching various soldiers with his fist covered in flames while Krillin and Yamcha bash away soldiers from Frieza's army
(Nani ga okite mo kibun wa heno-heno kappa) Shows Gray freezing a group of Saibamen while Lucy summons Taurus to knock them away as Piccolo blasts soldiers with his Special Beam Cannon before cutting to Erza, Vegeta, and Gohan dealing with the Ginyu Force then shifting to reveal the gathered group facing off against the Villainous Mode fighters
(CHA-LA HEAD CHA-LA) Shows Goten, Trunks, Vegeta, Gohan, Goku, and Ren transform into Super Saiyans
(Mune ga pachi-pachi suru hodo) Ren flies toward Mira as the two clash with each other with fast punches and kicks before the android fires a red energy wave at the Saiyan which he responded by firing a Kamehameha wave with the two attacks colliding into an explosion
(Sawagu Genki-Dama) Shows Gohan fighting Cell, Vegeta fighting Kid Buu, Gotenks fighting Frieza, and Goku fighting Broly
(CHA-LA HEAD CHA-LA) Shows Natsu use his Fire Dragon Roar, Gray using his Ice-Make Magic, and Erza using her Black Wing Armor
(Atama-karappo no hou ga yume tsumekomeru) Shows Future Trunks in his Super Saiyan form punching Great Ape Baby Vegeta, knocking him down before it cuts to Hirudegarn knocking Ren, Goku, and the other Saiyans with a swing of its large arms as the camera shifts to show Ren standing up along with the other Saiyans
(CHA-LA HEAD CHA-LA) Cuts to Ren releasing a mighty roar as he transforms into Super Saiyan 3
(Egao urutora Z de) Shows Ren along with Goku in his Super Saiyan 3 form as the two fly towards the large monster
(Kyou mo ai-yai-yai-yai-yai -Sparking!) The two deliver powerful punches to Hirudegarn before Goku attacks with his Dragon Fist and Ren attacks with his Super Kamehameha with both moves piercing through the monster's chest and causing a large explosion
(Instruments) The camera cuts to Ren looking back to see the shadowed figure power up while he grins and gets into his martial arts stance before the two fly towards each other in a fierce clash before the screen pauses to reveal Ren in his Super Saiyan 4 form with the shadowed figure preparing a purple energy wave

Magnolia - Fairy Tail Universe
After finishing up their latest training session, Ren grinned at his four students. "I'm honestly surprised that you all got Flight and Ki Control down to a paddle. I was expecting you all to have problems at one point or another."
"I will admit. It was hard at first but I soon got the hang of it." Ezra said with a smile.
"When do we get to do those cool moves of yours?" Natsu asked with excitement. Being able to fly like a real dragon was awesome enough, but using those powerful energy attacks that the Saiyan always used was even better.
"I'll teach you how to do some of them once you've raised your energy levels to a substantial level. Some of the techniques I know are quite powerful and can drain one of their ki." The Time Patroller points out.
"So if we don't have enough we'll pass out?" Lucy asked.
"That, or you could die," Ren answered with a cheerful grin.
Simultaneously, the four humans started to dread the outcome if they were to overexert themselves.
"But I'm sure you'll do fine." The Saiyan waved off their fears.
"That doesn't help put me at ease." Lucy whimpered.
"Don't worry, Lucy. Your training is coming along quite well, even if you are technically the weakest link." The Time Patroller pats the blonde's back to reassure her.
"Thanks for the vote of confidence," Lucy muttered.
"You're welcome!" He replied, ignorant of the fact that he diminished her confidence. "Now let's get to the guild and get some grub! I'm starving!"
"So am I," Natsu said with a grin.
"Aye, sir!" Happy added, raising his paw in the air.
"Now there's two of them…" Gray deadpanned.
"I heard that." Came Ren's response.
"Behave!" Erza growled.
"Yes, ma'am!" The three replied.
"Still scared of her," Lucy mumbled.
"That's Erza for yah." Happy replied.
As the group passed by various civilians, they noticed most of them giving them looks of pity.
"Wonder what's up with them?" Ren wondered aloud.
"This is weird," Lucy said.
Suddenly when they were in view of the guild they were met with a horrifying sight. Parts of the guild hall were punctured from huge iron pillars. Wood was scattered and broken, revealing massive holes that were shattered by an impressive force. Not only that, but there seemed to be blast marks on certain areas of the guild, including the Fairy Tail sign.
"What… What happened here?" Ren softly questioned, his fists tightening to the point his gloves started to ache.
"It was Phantom." A familiar voice said, causing them to turn to see Mirajane standing behind them.
"Phantom?" The Saiyan repeated.
"Phantom Lord is another guild. I never believed they would be so bold as to attack our guild." Erza stated sternly.
Ren narrowed his eyes. "Are they an enemy?" His Saiyan blood screamed for vengeance.
"At this moment I am unsure, there has always been bad blood between our guilds but this is the first time they've ever tried doing something like this," Erza answered.
The Time Patroller idly wondered if he should locate Phantom Lord's guild and return the favor? Nah, that would just cause problems.
"Is everyone okay?" Lucy asked.
"Yes, they are all okay but right now they're in the guild's basement since only the building was destroyed," Mirajane answered.
Ren released a sigh of relief. "That's good. I'd hate to unleash my… dark side." He grimaced.
"Dark side?" Lucy asked terrified.
"Let's just say that there are some things in this world that mankind is just not ready to see," Ren answered.
"Okay, now I'm scared of you even more…" Lucy said as she began to sweat.
"Relax, I wouldn't do anything to you. You're precious to me." The Saiyan smiled in a goofy manner at the blonde.
Lucy wasn't sure what to say as she had a light blush on her cheeks.
The moment was ruined by the growling void known as Ren's stomach. "Mirajane, I'm hungry!" He shouted with a big grin.
"I'm sure there's enough food in the basement," Mirajane said while Lucy just gave a look of disappointment.
"Awesome!" The Saiyan quickly took off to get something to eat.
"Does he even know where the basement is?" Lucy asked.
"Probably not," Erza answered.
"Found it!" Came Ren's shout as the sounds of vicious gouging echoed throughout the temporary guild hall.
"Okay so maybe he does know where it is," Erza said with a small laugh.
Ren came back holding two plates carrying large chicken legs and roasts while he munched on a pork bun in his left hand. "So where's Master Makarov?" He asked in between bites.
"I'm pretty sure you missed him when grabbing the food because he was on the counter with a mug of beer," Mirajane replied.
"Oh, we should probably put a bell on him or something," Ren said after downing a chicken leg.
"How can you put a bell on someone who isn't moving?" Lucy asked in confusion.
"Because he shows up out of nowhere." The Saiyan gestured down to the girl.
"Like right now?" Makarov asked, standing right behind him without the Saiyan knowing.
"Holy Shenron!" The Time Patroller exclaimed then started to choke on the chicken that he was eating, forcing him into a coughing fit.
"What are you kids doing out here?" Makarov asked drunkenly.
"We just got done training." Ren grinned after recovering from his initial shock.
"I can see that," Makarov said.
The Saiyan's expression turned serious. "So everyone's really okay?"
"Uh yep!" Makarov said tipping back slightly before straightening up.
"Why are you drunk then?" He wondered, raising his black brow.
"That's just how he is." Mirajane, Erza, Natsu, and Gray said in unison.
"Oh," Ren nodded in acceptance.
"Let's go kiddies!" Makarov said, spinning around and running like a child.
"Shouldn't someone stop him?" The young man asked.
"He'll be fine," Erza said before Makarov found the entrance, and began falling down the steps followed by crashing, shattering glass, fireworks, and finally a screeching cat.

…
"You sure?" Ren inquired with a sly grin.
"I'm A-okay!" Makarov shouted as if nothing happened.
"Yep," Erza said with a smile.
"Well, in that case, I'm gonna go take a nap!" The Time Patroller grinned then yawned.
"In the basement?" Lucy asked as they began walking down the steps.
The Saiyan grins at the blonde. "I sleep anywhere I can. Be it a bed, grass, or the floor."
"Even in a freezer?" Lucy asked.
"Even in a freezer," Ren answered.
"Even in a fish?" Happy asked, flying over with a 'not so coincidentally' fish in his mouth.
The Saiyan rolled his eyes. "Don't be ridiculous."
"Didn't you say you'd sleep anywhere?" Lucy asked with a grin.
"So that means you would also sleep inside of a fish," Natsu added.
"Shut up before I make your training regimes even more brutal," Ren warned.
"AYE!" Natsu and Lucy shouted in unison.
The young man grinned then marched off to find a place to sleep.
"Wouldn't you like some dessert?" Mirajane asked kindly.
"I'm back!" He reappeared with a grin.
"Now how was your training?" Makarov asked as Mirajane went off to grab Ren's dessert.
"Well, they're progressing faster than I ever realized. Not only that, but I think they could be the strongest fighters in Fairy Tail right now without their magic." The Saiyan answered.
"That's good to hear, my boy." Makarov complimented as Mirajane walked back with a slice of cake.
"Here you go." Mirajane said setting it at a nearby table, unaware of a certain redhead staring at the cake.
"Thanks, you're the best, Mirajane." Ren smiled, about to take a bite out of the cake until it was swiped away from the resident Fairy Queen. "Hey!"
Erza just gave him a sideways glance and she stabbed a fork into the cake.
There was a tense silence that not even a cricket dared to chirp while the only sound heard was multiple people sweating bullets.
"This is not gonna end well." Natsu whispered in terror.
"For once we agree." Gray said.
"Give it back." Ren growled lowly.
Erza only responded by putting the piece she stabbed into her mouth.
"EVERY CAT FOR THEMSELVES!" Happy screamed in terror as he flew away.
Slowly, Ren's face turned a bright shade of red as steam erupted from his ears. His tail twitched with pent-up rage as he grabbed hold of Erza and… bent her over his knee?
"I'm out!" Lucy screamed, not wanting to get in the middle of anything bad that is going to happen.
"What are you doing?!" Erza demanded.
"Disciplining a naughty child." The Saiyan retorted with an angry glare then raised his hand and brought it down on the redhead's rear in the form of a spanking.
"KYA!" Erza screamed, her cheeks red in embarrassment.
"Are you gonna steal from me again?!" Ren demanded, spanking the Queen of the Fairies.
"Yes, now stop that!" Erza shouted.
"No, you just admitted that you would steal from me again." The Time Patroller continued spanking the redhead.
"Okay, I'll stop!" Erza just about screamed.
Ren stopped, allowing the girl to stand back up to rub her aching backside. "Good girl."
"I will get you back for this!" Erza growled in embarrassment.
"Don't steal my cake!" He shot back.
Erza just glared at the man with her cheeks remaining red.
Ren returned the glare, daring her to try and retaliate.
Everyone was frightened, I mean you can see the sparks between the two.
"How about we all calm down now before something gets broken?" Lucy said, trying to defuse the situation.
Both Titania and the Saiyan level their glares down at the blonde girl. Said girl quickly brought up Happy as a meatshield.
"Why are you using me as a shield?!" Happy shouted in terror.
"You were close by!" The Celestial Wizard retorted.
"Stop messing around this instant!" Makarov shouted.
Both the Saiyan and the redhead glare at each other one last time before turning away with a huff.
Everyone soon released a breath they all were unknowingly holding.
"Now let's all be thankful that no one was hurt." Makarov pointed out.
Erza grumbled with a tinge of red on her cheeks.
"Well, except for Erza's pride." The Guildmaster added.
"Yeah…" Lucy whispered, dropping the blue cat.
"Ow." Happy said in a bored tone.
"She still owes me a cake." Ren grumbles with a pout.
"How about I get you another cake?" Mirajane suggested.
The Saiyan grins at the young woman. "I would like that very much, Mirajane. Thank you."
After a while, she came back with a slice of cake and this time Erza kept her distance.
The Time Patroller happily devoured the delectable sweet while the S-Class wizard watched with envy.
"Ren fight me!" Natsu shouted, jumping at an eating Ren.
Without looking, the Saiyan punches the Dragon Slayer square in the face, knocking him out.
"Are you serious Flamebrain?" Gray muttered.
"That's Natsu for yah!" Happy chirped, causing everyone to laugh good-heartedly.
Ren looked down at the unconscious pink-haired teen. "You okay, Natsu?"
"Aye…" Came his weak reply.
"It's so typical." Lucy muttered.
"Meh, it's nothing important." Ren went back to eating his cake.
"Like his lack of a brain." Gray said with a smile.
"Say that again, Ice Stripper?!" Natsu shouted coming to and popping up in front of the Ice Wizard.
"You got a problem, Fire Breath?!" Gray shouted back as they were now butting heads.
"There they go again." Lucy said with a smile.
"That's Natsu and Gray for yah!" Happy chirped.
Toki Toki City
Supreme Kai of Time looked upon the group of Time Patrollers that Trunks had gathered.
The first is a preteen boy with spiky black hair, dark eyes, tan skin, and he looked almost like Goku if he were younger. His outfit consisted of a black bodysuit covered by a red/white kung-fu gi, white hakama pants, and black shoes with fingerless arm gloves.
The second is a preteen girl with long black hair tied in a ponytail by a red ribbon, light skin, and dark eyes. Her appearance made her almost look like Pan. Her outfit was quite similar to the boy beside her save that it hugged her developing curves.
The third is a tall, young man with jet black spiky hair, black eyes, a boyish face, and light skin. He wore a dark blue gi from the top of his shoulders to the top of his boots, an orange undershirt beneath his gi, a blue karate belt around his waist, white gloves, and finally white Saiyan battle suit boots with yellow tips.
The fourth is a very curvaceous woman with glasses and long bushy auburn hair. She has a gold ring on her left middle finger, and black nails. She wears a pair of hoop earrings, a sleeveless, blue and red short dress with black stockings, black arm sleeves, and blue and red heel boots.
The fifth and final one is a member of the Frost Demons or Frieza Race. His bio suit seemed to be the Time Patroller variant with stark white armor, dark blue sections on his head, chest, arms, legs, and shoulders, and red skin. His eyes are dark red with slit pupils.
Chronoa knew them respectively as Beat, Note, Elvarian, Android 21, and Indigo. "I'm sure you're all wondering why you've been gathered here."
"That's an understatement," Indigo remarked with his arms folded. However, Android 21 stopped him from speaking by nudging his arm with her elbow.
"A few days ago, the Hero of Toki Toki City, Ren, has been lost to us." The Supreme Kai of Time clarified, drawing looks of surprise from everyone present. "However, we know that he's alive."
Elvarian spoke up. "So you want us to find him?"
"Yes," Chronoa nodded. "Unfortunately, he's lost in an alternate dimension."
"Then how are we going to get there?" Note inquired with a curious tilt of her head.
"We're going to use the Dragon Balls to call forth Shenron and wish ourselves to Ren's location." Trunks stated. "However, if we do this, there's a chance that we may never return back home and we'll be on our own against every known villain history has ever written."
All five of the Time Patrollers glanced apprehensively at each other.
Chronoa interjected. "I understand if you all have misgivings and I won't judge any of you if you back out now. But Trunks and I are saving our friend, with or without you."
"Hey, I never said I was backing out!" Beat declared with a wide grin. "I'm going!"
"Me too!" Note agreed excitedly.
Elvarian shrugged. "Heh, I could use the challenge."
Android 21 placed a hand near her chest. "I'll help too. I owe you after all for saving my life."
Indigo scoffed. "Not like I've got anything better to do. At least this way, I'll have my chance of fighting Frieza."
Trunks grinned at each of those he had chosen. "Thanks, you guys," He turned to face the Supreme Kai of Time. "We're ready to go."
Chronoa nodded happily then reached into her tunic and pulled out the Dragon Radar. "Here. This should help you find the Dragon Balls. Please be quick."
Trunks accepted the gift and nodded, "Don't worry. We'll be back as quick as we can." He turned to his team with a determined expression on his face. "Let's go, everyone!"
With simultaneous nods, the six Time Patrollers took off into the air in a blast of colors while Chronoa watched.
Magnolia - Later that Night
Lucy pulled her suitcase along the canal towards her apartment, her spirit Plue in front of her. "Things have really gotten complicated, haven't they?" She said with Plue replying with his usual sound.
"Hey, Missy! Don't blame me if you fall in!" A man on a passing boat called out to her.
"Phantom is famous for not getting along with Fairy Tail. I actually fretted trying to decide which one I wanted to join. After all, their reputation is nearly as nuts as Fairy Tail's!" Lucy continued to speak with her spirit from time to time agreeing with a "Pun, pun" as he wobbled forward down the street, the two eventually reaching the blonde's apartment. "But I think I made the right decision joining here. Because Fairy Tail is…" She said as she opens the door to her apartment.
"Nice room you have here."
"Whassup?"
"Yo!"
"Welcome home!"
"Hey, Lucy!"
Erza, Gray, Natsu, Happy, and Ren, in that order, greeted at the same time as they sat around her table with dishes of seafood on it while Happy already had a fish in his mouth. "...the best?!" Lucy cried out in shock as her eyes bulged out and sweat dripped down her head at seeing everyone in her apartment.
Ren, who was happily munching away at the seafood platter, had barely enough time to react as Lucy's suitcase struck him directly in the face.
"There's a lot of y'all!" Lucy cries out after throwing her luggage at the Saiyan's face.
"Why'd you hit me!?" Ren whined then shook it off and went back to eating.
"The incident with Phantom means that they've come to this town." Erza said, lifting up a cup of tea to her face, ignoring the Saiyan's bewildered question.
"It's possible they've looked up where everyone lives." Gray added, causing Lucy to cry out in fear as her eyes and pupils widen. "So it'll be safer if we stay in groups. That's what Mirajane said." The ice wizard finished explaining.
"I see," The Celestial Wizard says understanding the situation.
"Everyone is having sleepovers here and there today!" Happy pointed out while munching on his fish.
"You are a girl of a certain age, and even I would be a bit uncomfortable staying with just Natsu, Gray, and Ren. That's why I have decided to keep you all company." Erza added.
"We're not here to relax!" Natsu, who was sitting on the ground the entire time with an annoyed look on his face, yelled out.
"So Natsu and Gray staying with me was already decided? And why my house? And hold on a second, why are you here!? Don't you have your own house?!" Lucy yelled at the gluttonous Saiyan, who tore into a grilled lobster.
"I do, but it's out of town. The master and Mirajane didn't want me by myself so I decided to come here." Ren answered with his mouthful.
Lucy then notices Plue about to stick a lollipop in his mouth while Happy is going through her laundry causing her to cry out in shock, "Her laundry!" The blue cat says with a cat-like grin as Plue bites down on the lollipop.
"Hey, cat, over there! What are you… And Plue, what are you doing?!" Lucy angrily questions with wide blank eyes and sharp teeth.
"Ooh, Plue! What's that you're eating?! Let me have some!" Natsu yells.
"Erza look! I found some sexy underwear!" Happy shouted out. All of a sudden, Gray is half-naked on Lucy's bed, Natsu is eating a box full of candy along with Happy and Plue while Erza is blushing heavily with wide eyes as her heart beats loudly, looking at Lucy's underwear that Happy pointed out.
"Wow! You actually wear this?" The Requip wizard questioned.
"I'm hittin' the hay so pipe down, okay?" Gray said, looking ready to sleep.
"I'm glad you're enjoying the change of pace in someone else's home…" Lucy sarcastically remarks with her eyes closed. She looks over to Ren, who finishes off the rest of the food. "At least you're nice enough to respect my privacy and stuff."
"My mother always taught me that going through a girl's personal stuff is wrong." The Saiyan explained. "Plus, you're my friend. If you don't want me touching or looking at something then all you have to do is ask."
Lucy smiled at the thoughtful young man while a tinge of red appeared on her cheeks. "Thanks, Ren."
"Anyway… You all smell like sweat. We're sleeping in the same room so at least take a bath." Erza said, looking at the boys in the room.
"Don't wanna! What a pain…" Natsu grumbles.
"But I'm sleepy," Gray whined.
Ren blinked in confusion then sniffed himself. "I don't really smell that bad."
Erza threw Natsu and Gray beside the Saiyan as she looked down at them with stars sparkling beside her head. "I suppose I must. Shall we take a bath together like we used to long ago?" She questioned causing Natsu and Gray to begin sweating a lot in embarrassment.
"Huh?" Ren blinked in surprise when he heard this.
"And it might be a tight fit, but perhaps you could join us as well, Ren. I don't mind having a friend with us." Erza said, looking at the Saiyan.
"EH!?" Ren exclaimed in shock with his cheeks burning the same crimson as his eyes. Lucy narrowed her eyes at the redhead, jealousy radiating from her aura.
"What kind of relationship do you have!?" The blonde girl exclaimed.
"We're the strongest team!" Happy yelled.
"That's not the kind of strength it means!" Lucy cried out.
Ren, however, wasn't focused on the conversation. Instead, he thought about what Erza had mentioned about bathing together. He and Erza… together in the bath… wet, naked bodies pressing against-
'Ahh! It won't get out of my brain!?' The Saiyan cried out in his head.
Eventually, Erza took her bath and came out wearing a pink towel wrapped around her buxom figure with one wrapped around on her head. Lucy had just finished her own bath as she exited the bathroom fully dressed in her pajamas. "Okay, Natsu, you can use it next," She said to the Fire Dragon Slayer but found him passed out on her table with Happy eating another fish.
"How about you, Gray?" Lucy asked after not getting a response from the pink-haired boy. The latter, unknowingly to Lucy, reading the blonde's story.
"Ren?" The Celestial Wizard found the Saiyan on a mat and fast asleep, evident by his snoring.
The blonde sighed then sat on her couch with Erza across from her as the group, excluding Natsu and Ren, were discussing about Phantom Lord.
"Do you have any idea why Phantom attacked us out of the blue?" Lucy asked.
"I'm afraid not," Erza replied. "We have had our fair share of scuffles with them in the past, but never on anything of this sort of scale before."
"If Gramps wasn't so scared we could wipe out those punks once and for all." Natsu mumbled.
"Come on, Natsu, you know Master Makarov isn't afraid of them," Gray lightly scolded the pink-haired teen while still holding Lucy's stack of papers. "You seem to be forgetting that he's one of the Ten Wizard Saints."
"I didn't give you permission to read that!" The Celestial Wizard shouted at the Ice-Make mage, snatching the papers from him and held it close to her chest.
Meanwhile… Phantom Lord Guild
The main hall of the Phantom Lord Guild was a dark, large stone-walled room with tables aligned everywhere. The torches mounted on the walls were the only source of light in the main hall. Sitting alone at a table was a young muscular man, possibly twenty by the look of him, with long, black hair that was spiked up, and had piercings on his nose and ears, and dangerous red eyes that struck fear in the hearts of men. He wore a shabby, black, sleeveless tunic with silver studded edges, a pair of beige pants, and studded black boots. On his right shoulder was a black wing-like ornament jutting upwards.
This was Gajeel Redfox, the Iron Dragon Slayer, and Mage of Phantom Lord.
The table he sat at was covered in a variety of iron materials such as pots and pans. Gajeel was chowing down, not on regular food, but rather from the actual metal items sprawled across the table.
"Hey Gajeel, I heard you made a mess out of the Fairy Tail Guild Hall," A Phantom mage approaching the Dragon Slayer said with a smirk. "I also heard you tried tracking down that rumored Golden Fighter that's been appearing on the posts lately." He then began to laugh.
Gajeel ceased eating and growled, as he swiftly turned to face the mage. Shockingly, the Iron Dragon Slayer's arm transformed into a black iron pillar and extended out, slamming into his fellow guildmate's face and sent him careening back. The other Phantom Lord wizards who witnessed this all began to laugh loudly.
"How many times do I have to tell ya?" Gajeel growled as his arm reverted back to normal. "I don't like to be bothered while I'm eating! And besides," He stopped as he stood up on his table and glared at the other wizards. "...whether that guy was there or not, those Fairy Tail clowns have got nothing on us. We're way more powerful than they could ever hope to be."
His guildmates all agreed in cheers.
"Not only that, but we've got new members that are even stronger than that so-called Golden Fighter anyways," Gajeel remarked with a wicked grin.
"The die has been cast." A voice spoke aloud. Everyone looked up to see a tall figure standing by the railing of the second floor, his form was shrouded by the darkness. This was the Guild Master of Phantom Lord, Jose. However, he wasn't alone as there were five figures behind him, each of whom possessed glowing red eyes. "I compliment your excellent work, Gajeel. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to have broken their spirits nearly enough."
"Well, after that little stunt, I realized that we weren't hard enough on them." The Iron Dragon Slayer jeered. "So, I decided to leave them a little something extra. A present. One that's sure to get those Fairy Tail losers' panties in a knot."
"Very good, my boy," Jose praised. "Be sure not to bring any harm to you-know-who, if you please?"
Gajeel only grinned wickedly at the mention.
Jose glanced back at his five newest members. "And I trust that you'll be able to handle any problems that get in your way, my friends?"
"Oh, don't worry…" The central figure chuckled before they stepped forward to reveal… the grinning face of Frieza. While he was still in his final form, he also bore the symbol of Phantom Lord on his left shoulder. "We'll be sure to take good care of any wizard that gets in Phantom Lord's way."
Magnolia Southgate Park - The Next Day
The next day, Team Natsu, and a yawning Ren were preparing to head toward the back-up Guild Hall. Though the Saiyan hardly got any sleep last night since he kept thinking about Erza's offer to bath and couldn't help but blush cherry red at the image of the redhead's naked body. Although, this earned him the ire of Lucy, who for some reason was mad at him for thinking 'perverted thoughts'.
'I'll never understand girls…' The Time Patroller thought miserably.
Eventually, they spotted a disturbance in Southgate Park. They approached a large crowd, composed of a big sum of their guildmates and citizens from the town, which was gathered at a large tree in the center of the park. Ren grew concerned when he noticed all of the horrified looks etched on their faces as they mumbled in fear at whatever it was that they were seeing.
"Please, let us through. We're from the guild." Erza says as she and the rest of Team Natsu made their way through the crowd, wondering what all the commotion was about… until they saw it.
Each of the group gasped in complete horror at what they saw on the tree, Natsu clenching his teeth as his eyes widened with complete and utter anger coursing through his veins. Even Ren looked pissed as he looked upon the sight.
Hanging on the trunk of the tree, was Levy, Jet, and Droy, all three of them seriously beaten up as evident by their bruised skin and their clothing torn in some places. Iron clamps held their arms up against the tree, but what really angered the Saiyan was that Levy had her stomach painted… with the symbol of the Phantom Lord guild.
"LEVY!" Lucy cried.
"Jet! Droy!" Gray yelled.
"Phantom!?" Natsu growled.
Ren's rage grew to the point that bioelectricity began to surge around his body while his hair and eyes shifted from their normal color to his Super Saiyan form.
The crowd grew silent and cleared a path for Master Makarov. Instead of his usual attire, he wore black pants and a white coat with the Ten Wizard Saints symbol on the back; though he still held his cane in his hand.
"I can take our headquarters being reduced to rubble," Makarov hissed. "But I will not allow harm to come to my children without TAKING REVENGE!" His grip tightened to the point that he promptly crushed his cane's shaft.
Suddenly, golden light began to shine beneath the small, old man. Team Natsu and even Ren took a cautious step back when he sensed Makarov's power level skyrocket above his own. In fact, the Saiyan felt… afraid of his guild master.
With an enraged scowl on his face, Makarov declared to the rest of the guild, "We have no choice but to go to war!"
The members of Fairy Tail roared in agreement as they prepared themselves to go on all-out war with Phantom Lord. Ren was about to return to his home to gather a few health and stamina capsules but was stopped by Makarov, as he said, "No, Ren. I need you to stay here."
"Say what!?" The Saiyan exclaimed with his eyes wide with protest. "But the others…"
"I know you want to avenge Levy and Shadow Gear. They're as much friends to you as Levy is to Lucy," Makarov reasoned. "But most of the Guild will be leaving and our home will be left defenseless. I have a hunch that Jose will use this to try and plan another sneak attack against the Guild."
"But-" Ren wanted to argue, but Makarov interjected.
"Lucy will need someone here to take care of Levy and the others," The guild master stated, pointing towards Lucy, who cradled Levy's unconscious body now that she and Shadow Gear were down from the tree. The Celestial Wizard cried for her friend's well-being.
Ren frowned as a memory of his fight against Broly replayed in his mind. How his fellow Time Patrollers were nearly killed until he broke through his rage and unleashed another form of his Super Saiyan mode. He looked to Master Makarov and nodded, "Okay, I'll watch over them. Give them a good thrashing for me, okay?"
Makarov nodded, as he led the others towards the location of Phantom Lord's Guild: Oak Town.
Magnolia Hospital
Lucy and Ren sat in a hospital room that housed Levy, Jet, and Droy. Lucy had taken a seat next to Levy's bed while the lone Saiyan sat on a chair in the corner.
"Droy… Jet… Levy… How could Phantom do this to you?" The Celestial Mage questioned aloud. Her thoughts drifted back to how she and Levy became such close friends in the short amount of time she's been in Fairy Tail. How she promised Levy that she'd be the first one to read her novel once she completed it, and how she helped all of them back with that changeling incident. All the good things she had done and now she was here, hospitalized because of what Phantom did. The thought of those scumbags made her clench her fists on her knees as tears began to build up. "They'll pay!" Lucy said quietly.
"You and Levy have been friends since you joined Fairy Tail, huh?"
The blonde girl jumped a bit but relaxed when she realized that Ren was also with her. Glancing towards the red-eyed Saiyan, she nodded her head before looking back down at Levy. "I guess you can say it's because we're both bookworms. What can I say, it was nice knowing there was someone else with a passionate love for a lot of reading."
Ren pursed his lips, "I know the feeling. I'd do anything to keep my friends safe, but…" His gloved hands clenched into fists, tightening to the point that the fabric began to strain. "After what those bastards did to Levy, Jet, and Droy… I'm tempted to go over to Phantom's guild and wipe them from the face of the planet."
Lucy gulped upon realizing that her friend was completely serious. "Um, let's not go overboard, okay?" She pleaded, mentally hoping the Saiyan would calm down.
"Yeah, you're right," Ren sighed, slumping in his seat. "I don't really like to kill living beings unless I have absolutely no other choice."
"Eheheh, good to know…" The blonde girl sweatdropped.
Before the duo could continue their conversation, a loud growling noise echoed in the hospital room, which drew Lucy's attention to the lone Saiyan as he held his stomach.
"Man, I'm hungry," Ren groaned, rubbing his empty belly. He hopped up onto his feet and looked at Lucy with a bright grin. "Wanna grab a bite to eat?"
"Eh? But what about Levi and the others?" Lucy looked at Ren as if he grew a second head.
"They'll still be here when we get back. We'll only be gone for an hour at least. Besides, you look like you could use some food." The Time Patroller said with a grin.
In the midst of Lucy's protests, a loud growl erupted from the blonde's own stomach. Ren grinned while the Celestial Wizard sported a cherry red blush.
"Seems I'm not the only one who's hungry," The red-eyed Saiyan chuckled then giggled playfully when Lucy jabbed him in the arm with a fist.
The blonde girl looked away with her cheeks still red, "Jerk…"
Despite Ren's teasing, Lucy smiled at the young man's attempts to cheer her up. She took his muscular arm in her hands and dragged him out of the hospital to take him to a nice restaurant with enough food to curve Ren's Saiyan appetite.
Then again, Lucy doubted that anything could ever fill the void that Ren called his stomach.
As the two strolled through the town, Frieza and his four shadowy comrades watched the Fairy Tail members silently while a dark smirk appeared on the evil emperor's face.
"Let's see how one of the Element 4 stacks up to this Saiyan monkey…" Frieza said with a cold sneer.
While Lucy chatted with Ren, the Saiyan stopped when his senses informed him of danger. "Lucy, we're not alone…" He said to the Celestial Wizard.
"Eh? What do you mean, Ren?" The blonde girl asked her alien friend. Suddenly, it began to rain even though it was supposed to be sunny. "Rain?"
"Drip, drip, drip, drop," A voice spoke, drawing the attention of the two Fairy Tail members. Approaching the two is a slender, teenage girl with long azure blue hair that was tightly curled at the base, midnight blue eyes, snow skin complexion, and a curvaceous figure. She wore a cream-colored fur trimmed navy blue shawl with a pure white teru teru bōzu attached to it, as well as a matching Russian Cossack hat.
This was Juvia Lockser, the Water Mage, or Rain Woman, of Phantom Lord, as well as one of the Element 4.
Ren stood in front of Lucy, protectively, glaring at the newcomer. "Who are you?" He demanded.
"Juvia is Juvia. Drip, drip, drop," Juvia stated in a creepy tone that sent chills down Ren's spine.
'She speaks in the third-person?' Lucy sweatdropped in thought.
Ren kept his gaze focused on the strange woman. "Lucy, get back to the hospital…" He quietly said.
"Eh?" The blonde girl looked at her Saiyan friend, confused. "Why?"
"Juvia can't let you leave…" The creepy woman said… before a whip made entirely of water lurched towards a shocked Lucy. Luckily for her, Ren managed to stop it by allowing the tentacle-like liquid to wrap around his right wrist and used his strength to keep it from getting loose. "Oh? No one has ever caught one of Juvia's Water Canes before."
"You'll find I'm a step above most foes you ever faced." The Time Patroller snarled as he fought to keep the water from harming his friend. "You're with Phantom Lord, aren't you?"
"Juvia is," The water woman replied bluntly.
"What!?" Lucy shrieked in fright. 'A member of Phantom Lord is here!?'
"Well, believe it or not, I was looking forward to meeting you. Your guild hurt three good friends of mine and I'm pretty pissed off." Ren said with a dark smirk on his face as he started cracking his knuckles. "Sorry about this, but even if you are a girl… I'm getting my pound of flesh for what you all did!" The Saiyan's blue aura blazed brightly as he charged at Juvia and lashed out with a punch towards her face… which burst into droplets of water upon impact.
"AH! REN, YOU KILLED HER!" Lucy exclaimed in comical horror.
"I didn't mean to! I just meant to knock her out!" Ren retorted, equally panicking. "Oh God, what have I-AHHHHHHHHHHH!" The Time Patroller along with Lucy screamed in fear when they saw Juvia's head reform back to normal.
"Your head just reformed!" Lucy screamed in horror.
"Juvia is a water mage. Her entire body is composed of water." Juvia replied.
"I am… so confused and extremely creeped out," Ren said with wide eyes.
"How do you think I feel!?" Lucy screeched in the Saiyan's ear, much to his discomfort.
Ren used his pinky to clean out his ear, "Ow, that was right in my ear, Lucy."
"Juvia will get rid of you now…" The water mage said as she swung her unattended arm towards the two, "Water Slicer!" At her declaration, a barrage of scythe-like blades of water was shot right at the Fairy Tail members.
"Eek!" Lucy squeaked, hiding behind Ren, who stood fast and deflected the blades with his forearms. Once the barrage had subsided, the sleeves of the Saiyan's jacket was torn to shreds but his skin remained untouched save for the droplets of water.
"That was close. If I were anybody else, I definitely would've been cut to ribbons." Ren said with a grin.
"Juvia is surprised. Nobody could've survived my attack," The Phantom Lord member remarked. "You are not like any wizard Juvia has faced before."
"Okay, please stop speaking in the third person. It is really creepy…" Ren deadpanned.
"What are you waiting for!? Beat her up already!" Lucy cried out.
"Non non non." A new voice said, seemingly from out of nowhere.
"Now what?" Lucy groaned.
Approaching the Fairy Tail members from behind is a slim man of average height with a tiny, pointy, mustache and green hair pointing upwards. His right eye is always hidden by a monocle, attached to a slim chain; under it, the eye itself seems small and round, in contrast to his other, larger eye. He wore a formal attire consisting of a brown suit with a ragged collar bearing six prominent protrusions jutting outwards (three on each side) over a white shirt paired with a black tie and simple shoes. He also dons what appears to be a short cape attached to both of his elbows, linking them.
"A pedophile?" Ren wondered aloud.
"I'm not a pedophile, you monkey!" The newcomer exclaimed in comical anger.
'He does look like one.' Both women thought as they gave the weird looking green-haired man a strange look who didn't notice as he glared at the Saiyan.
"Don't call me a monkey, you pedo!" Ren exclaimed in comical anger.
"Roche Concerto!" The pedo shouted and the ground under Ren shattered, flying upwards and sending him flying into the air.
"Ren!" Lucy shouted in concern.
The Time Patroller quickly recovered in midair then threw two balls of yellow energy at the pedo. The ki blasts impact the dirt, scattering dust clouds all around while forcing Lucy to push down her skirt to keep people from seeing underneath.
The two Phantom mages shielded their eyes as the dust blew past them.
"Hey, pedo…" A voice whispered behind the finely dressed man. Looking back, the Phantom Lord member noticed Ren behind him with an evil grin and a ball of energy aimed right at him. "Have a nice flight."
"Oh, fils de-" the mage never finishes as the ball flew and struck him straight in the chest.
Ren watched with satisfaction as the man flew into a building and slammed inside, causing rubble to fall on him. "Monkey see, monkey do, pedo."
Suddenly Ren found himself inside an orb of water.
The Saiyan had his cheeks puffed as he struggled to get some oxygen in his lungs but his movement was restricted somehow.
"Ren!" Lucy shouted before turning to glare at the water wizard, reaching for her keys before she found herself in a similar water sphere.
"Well, well, excellent work, Ms. Juvia," A familiar voice reached Ren's ears.
'Can't be…' He thought while holding his breath for as long as possible.
Approaching the trapped Fairies was the evil emperor of Universe 7, Frieza. The destroyer of the Saiyan race stood behind the captured Time Patroller in his True Form, a wicked smirk on his face.
"Frieza!" Ren screamed with anger before realizing that he allowed water to enter his lungs. He grasped at his throat, struggling to get much-needed air before he could suffocate.
"That's enough, Ms. Juvia. Let the monkey go." Frieza said to the water mage, who nodded and released her Water Prison, dropping the Saiyan on the ground as he coughed harshly to get the liquid out of his body.
Once he managed to fill his lungs with oxygen and finished expelling any water he swallowed, the red-eyed Saiyan glared harshly at the vile emperor. "What the hell are you doing here!?" He demanded.
Frieza released a mocking laugh, "Why, I am here as extra insurance. But I suppose you could say that I'm here for that little girl you're protecting." His wicked eyes trailed over to the trapped Lucy, who was struggling to escape from Juvia's water prison.
Ren glared angrily at Frieza. "If you even think of touching her-" He was cut off when the vile space demon fired a high-powered Death Beam, which struck the Saiyan in the shoulder and left a smoking hole in his flesh.
"So you care for her?" Frieza asked rhetorically, pointing an index finger at the wounded Saiyan.
Ren growled at Frieza, placing a hand over his wound as blood leaked through his fingers. His crimson eyes trailed over to the trapped Celestial wizard.
The blonde struggled to keep awake as the water prevented oxygen from entering her lungs until finally, she lost consciousness.
The Saiyan's eyes widened to the point his pupils had shrunken from existence. His thoughts trailing in worst case scenarios that pictured Lucy… dead. The thought alone made him angry.
Scratch that. It made him angrier…
"I'm gonna kill you…" Ren growled as bioelectricity surged around his body. "I WILL KILL YOU ALL!"
"Tch, you think you can?" Frieza asked uncaringly as the two Phantom wizards were slightly concerned.
Before Ren could even think of transforming as a Super Saiyan, a haunting voice drew his attention.
"I wouldn't do that, boy," The Time Patroller looked behind him and, to his horror, stared at the familiar demonic blue face of his arch nemesis, Mira. Not only that but Mira had a palm directed at Lucy's unconscious body as an orb of red ki energy formed. "If you so much as twitch a finger then I will blast a hole into this human's chest."
Ren knew it was not just a threat but a promise.
Gritting his teeth in frustration, the Saiyan lowered his power level, diminishing it to the point he was weak as a mouse. He couldn't fight back without risking his friend's life and he couldn't raise his energy without Frieza and Mira together and threatening Lucy.
...He had lost…
Toki Toki City - DBZ Universe
It took the group of Time Patrollers quite a while to search in alternate timelines but Trunks and his team finally managed to acquire all seven of the Dragon Balls.
The Supreme Kai of Time looked upon the pedestal that held the seven mystical balls. She raised her hands up into the sky and declared, "Eternal Dragon, I call upon you from beyond to the physical plane. Arise, Shenron!"
The sky darkened as the Dragon Balls shined with an unearthly yellow light. A bright flash forced the Time Patrollers to shield their eyes as a massive shape formed into the figure of a giant Eastern green dragon.
The Eternal Dragon Shenron looked upon the gathered mortals and spoke in his booming voice, "I am Shenron! I shall grant you any wish. Now, speak!"
Chronoa gestured to Trunks, who stepped forward with a determined expression. "Shenron, I wish for a path that leads to the Saiyan called Ren!"
Shenron gauged the Saiyan prince for a second before his eyes glowed brightly then he spoke once more, "Very well," In a split millisecond, a booming green vortex opened in front of the Time Patrollers and their leader, who all gasped in surprise. "Your wish has been granted. Be warned, once you step through the portal, you will not return be able to return… FAREWELL!"
The Eternal Dragon glowed then disappeared in a burst of light while the Dragon Balls shot up into the sky then disappeared throughout the reaches of time once more.
With the dragon gone, the Shinjin looked upon the six warriors who volunteered to search for their missing comrade. "Everyone, this is the moment of truth. Once you step inside, you might not be able to come back home. Are you prepared?"
Indigo scoffed, "Been ready since we found the Dragon Balls."
Beat pumped his arm with an excited grin, "Bring it on! We can take on anything!"
Note nodded in agreement, "Got that right!"
Elvarian folded his arms over his chest. "I ain't got nothing better to do."
Android 21 had a determined look on her face. "I'll do what I can!"
Trunks grinned. "You already know my answer. Now let's get moving! We've got a friend to find!" Without a hint of hesitation, he ran into the portal followed by the rest of his Time Patroller comrades.
With all members inside, the vortex vanished from existence, leaving Chronoa by herself… until Toki Toki came down and landed on his perch.
"To?" The bird crooned as he looked at his long-time companion and mistress in curiosity.
The Supreme Kai of Time gently patted Toki Toki's head with a smile on her face. "I'm alright. I just know that Trunks and the others will succeed. In the meantime, we'll have to send out more Time Patrollers to look for the Dragon Balls all over again." She giggled. "Should be quite the adventure."
A/N: That's it for the chapter. Apologies for not being able to submit this so soon. Admittedly, I was busy with college along with other stories.
In any case, you're probably wondering why Android 21 is part of the Time Patrollers. Mostly because, she doesn't necessarily exist in the time period, besides FighterZ, which isn't canon. I brought her in to act as both the Majin and Android character since she has her human and true form.
As for the other characters, Beat and Note are actually the main Saiyan characters of Dragon Ball Heroes. You can look them up on the wiki.
Indigo is based around the Frost Demon or Frieza Race hero of DBH (Dragon Ball Heroes) in color scheme at least but wearing the Time Patroller gear.
Elvarian is a Saiyan wearing Vegito's clothing. His hair would be similar to when Trunk turns Super Saiyan when he was still a teenager but black in color.
There were no Namekians since apparently, no one wants to play as one unless they are die-hard Piccolo fans.
AH, and the spanking scene? I guess you could count that as fanservice or laughs. Whatever floats your boat.
