Hey, everyone. It's been a while.

I'm guessing everybody's wondering why I've gone dark. Well, to answer that question, it's because, well, video games and lethargy and all that. I have so much free time that I don't know what to do with it, and half the time I don't feel like writing. Or I just don't know what to write.

Oh, and video games. Other than Persona 5 Royal, I got Nioh 2. Between those and Doom Eternal, my Playstation 4 hates me. We have a love and hate relationship.

Anyway, as for why I'm posting this, I decided to read over what i wrote so far for this story and...

Yikes. Just yikes.

Ultimately, I have decided to rewrite this story for two reasons. The first is the general grammar. Just, my god, what the fuck was I doing? I've seen so many errors and long-ass paragraphs that I wanna shoot myself. Granted, I still have a bad tendency to do that, but this is worse. The second is mainly the pacing. Over twenty chapters covering the Kamoshida Arc when it could have easily been done in ten, if properly paced.

So, yeah. Persona 5: Hoshi to Bokura to will be rewritten under the name "Persona 5: With the Stars and Us."

To the people who followed and favorited this story, I really am sorry. I would like to continue and just overhaul all the chapters completely, but I realize that some people do enjoy the original works. Hence why With the Stars and Us will be published as a separate story altogether.

Another announcement is that I've decided to write a Persona 5 Royal fanfic, specifically one where Kasumi joins the Phantom Thieves much earlier in canon. As in, Kamoshida Arc early. Oh, the butterflies this will cause. Granted, I still need to complete the game first. I'm doing the vanilla storyline first, then do the new stuff on a NG+ walkthrough with Satanael and max stats. Now that I think about it, grinding for cash and filling the compendium all over again is going to be a fucking nightmare now. UGH!

Anyway, that's all the news I wanted to share with you guys. I hope you guys are doing well during these times, stay safe, practice social distancing and all that jazz, and just continue being awesome. And again, huge apologies to the people who stuck with this story to this point.

Sincerely, Starlight's Poet
