Chapter 29:

As Cell Juniors Two and Five prepared to greet the incoming space ship and its occupants, similar plans to meet them were being made onboard.

Floating in midair of the largest room on the ship, a large red skinned demon surrounded by a thin red aura slowly woke from his meditation.

He had short black hair on his head with a thin black beard and wore a blue suit, white cape, large white belt, and equally white boots.

With his meditation focused in the last few weeks on the Cell Juniors' rampages per his master's wishes, he had been honing in on them and tracked their travels to the recently destroyed planet.

Sure of the ship's positon in relation to the two blue monsters, the seven foot demon pulled himself completely from meditation and spoke aloud to a shorter yellowish-brown skinned being in the room.

"Master, I believe we are about to encounter the strong creatures that I've been sensing," his deeply menacing but still polite voice echoed across the room.

"Really? That's some good news!" the shorter individual wearing an orange robe replied with bemusement in a higher pitched voice. "Hopefully this will be useful for when we reach the planet Earth."

"How much power do you believe these creatures to have, Dabura?" the shorter figure asked intrigued as he peered into his crystal ball to hone in on the duo. "Now that we are close to them, it should be easier to tell."

"I still cannot say for certain but I feel they show superior strength to most of the planets and their inhabitants we have encountered thus far," Dabura replied stretching his arms and cracking his neck. "It seems I will need to dirty my hands this time as even Pui Pui and Yakon may be no match for these two, Master Babidi."

"You're certain Dabura?" Babidi replied with full attention on his slave's words.

"Absolutely! They have noticed our approach and are coming to greet us. I expect them to be knocking on our door before the next hour passes, maybe sooner," Dabura confirmed as he stood up to his full height.

Meditating for the last few days specifically required some deep stretches, and Dabura eagerly warmed his body for what he hoped would give him some entertainment.

"Very well. Let's invite them to avoid destroying the ship then!" Babidi said with a quick nod and turned his attention to another short looking figure in the room.

This individual was roughly as tall as Babidi, had a blue skin tone with a dark round nose on his face and wore a blue scouter over his left eye.

"You! Stop playing with that worthless scouter of yours and make yourself more useful!" Babidi commanded with irritation.

"Yes, sir?" The slightly flustered alien replied as he had been watching the power scale of the approaching Cell Juniors with great interest and fear. "But I must inform you that the power of these two creatures is enormous! My scouter froze as it reached the hundred thousands and I was trying to fix it! I believe Dabura is correct!"

"I don't need some fickle toy to tell me the powers of my opponents!" Dabura replied crossing his arms in annoyance.

"I don't care about your personal problems! Inform the pilots to slow the ship's speed at once!" Babidi commanded. "I want these creatures to be welcomed aboard as guests so they don't barge on in!"

With a quick nod, the blue alien clad in green armor and a red tunic, rushed to the far side of the room to belay orders to the rest of the crew.

"Why did we bother to pick up that guy again, Dabura?" Babidi with a sigh as he scratched at an itch on his wrinkled forehead. "All he does now is play with that useless toy of his! Maybe I should get rid of him after we take care of this small matter!"

"I believe his knowledge of this area in the universe was the main reason, Master Babidi. It has been some time since you or I was here," Dabura replied rubbing his chin. "Of course, he will have outlived his usefulness upon reaching Earth but right now I tend to agree."

"Ah, forget it for now, Dabura!" Babidi replied as he peered into his orb and brought the pair of Cell Juniors into view. "We'll handle that when the time is right."

Dabura peered over his master's shoulder just as the large ship slowed to a near floating speed, "Indeed. We should focus on these two for now as I feel much darkness coming from them at the present."

"Ah, you think I should bring them to our cause then?" Babidi questioned with amusement. "That is a very tempting idea!"

Dabura nodded in agreement and said, "Yes, that was one possibility."

Babidi brought his right hand to his face and contemplated further on it, "But on the other hand, if their energy supply is large enough that you feel the need to step in, draining them is also just as tempting!"

Dabura only watched as his master weighed the possibilities with a sly grin and said, "Whatever you think helps achieve our goal faster I will comply with."

"Babidi!" a shout came from the other end of the room as the blue soldier returned after completing his recent command. "The large powers we registered are quickly approaching the ship! Should we open a door to let them in?"

"They are fast indeed! Yes, do it now!" Babidi commanded with slight irritation and turned to his right hand man. "Dabura, I will give them a chance to join us but if they do not join willingly, you may destroy them and we'll take whatever damage you inflict on them as energy for Majin Buu!"

Giving a respectful bow and smiling menacingly Dabura replied, "As you wish Master. I do hope they choose to fight us as I was hoping to have a fight myself!"

Meanwhile just outside the ship, noticing that their intended target had slowed in its travels, the Cell Juniors slowed their speeds in sync with the ship until they came within a few yards of its front hull.

"So, they were aware of us after all!" Two said to Five in amusement.

"Do you think they are part of Frieza's broken empire?" Two replied with a hint of excitement.

As they pondered what to do next, a door on the side of the hull opened, seeming to invite them in.

"Maybe they know who they're dealing with! Come on let's take the invitation and see where this leads to!" Five said to his brother while floating closer to the beckoning light.

"Hold on!" Two said quickly. "We should retract our tails until the right time presents itself!"

"Sure! Best not to let them know all our abilities right away!" Five agreed grinning maliciously as the Cell Juniors concealed their greatest weapon and left only the tips of their tails protruding from their backs.

Upon entering what was more like the opening of an underside hatch, they felt the pull of gravity to their sides and quickly reoriented their bodies to match the tugging feeling.

It appeared to be nothing more than a long elevator shaft and intrigued with the invitation; Two and Five glided "down" until they reached a large circular chamber with windows.

Looking towards the now registered ceiling they could see a dome adorned in golden colors above the windows and at the center of the room was another circular shaped elevator shaft.

"So, are we getting a welcoming party or do we continue going on in the blind?" Five asked aloud and in an impatient tone.

His snarky comment was quickly answered with Babidi's voice echoing throughout the room, "Greetings wayward travelers and welcome to my ship!"

"Ugh! This voice is almost as grating as that stupid female we blew up not long ago!" Five telepathically said to his brother.

"Agreed! But bear with it a little longer until we figure out what's going on here!" Two replied with equal disgust.

"I am the great wizard Babidi and I'm sure you have questions," Babidi continued. "Let's just say your power caught my attention and I wanted to meet you in person."

As Babidi spoke, they heard the sounds of an elevator lift rising from the elevator shaft. "You are currently standing in one of four large battle chambers I have on this ship."

Two and Five had been staring at the ceiling as the wizard spoke and decided to join in the conversation.

"Heh, heh! Fine, you can call me Two and this is my brother Five with me," Two replied without fear. "We felt a strong member of your crew on this ship and wanted to test our powers in battle with him."

"Wonderful! That was what my strongest warrior, Dabura, was hoping for!" Babidi said with eagerness. "One of my subordinates should arrive shortly to bring you to our largest chamber where Dabura will be waiting."

As if on cue, the elevator lift stopped humming and the Cell Juniors were greeted with the blue colored alien of roughly similar height.

"Welcome, I am-" he started to speak before his eyes fell across their faces and he gasped.

"Well, what?" Five replied with annoyance. "Speak or take us to this Dabura already blue guy!"

Taking a moment to regain his composure, he nodded and said, "Uh, yes! Just step on the platform with me."

In moments, all three were standing on the middle platform and upon their weights being registered; it descended further into the ship's depths.

An awkward silence fell across the trio during the decent and the "blue guy" occasionally locked his eyes with both of the two Cell Juniors while theirs seemed to bore through his soul.

"Staring isn't polite you know," Two said coldly. "Clearly we've unnerved you so if you have something to say, spit it out!"

"I agree Knob Nose," Five added snickering as the warrior recoiled in surprise. "Say something or I'll kill you myself!"

Trying to find his words while rubbing at a golden ring on his middle right finger as they neared the intended floor, the warrior found his voice and said, "F-Forgive me, but you both remind me of my master!"

Both Two and Five exchanged a knowing look with one another and grinned in spite of themselves.

"You think he'll be useful to us?" Five asked telepathically of Two. "He might be what we've been looking for!"

"I agree! We'll spare him but get rid of the rest of the crew once we've had our fun!" Two replied with excitement.

Before they could press him for further information, the platform descended into the large circular chamber and the Cell Juniors became aware of Dabura's strong aura.

The platform stopped its descent as it became flush with the chamber floor and they peered around to scope out the giant room.

All three stepped off the platform and both Cell Juniors moved in sync with one another as they took a quick glance at their surroundings.

The floor was a dark blood red color and the walls and ceiling were in mixed shades of dark blues.

The chamber had to be several hundred yards in diameter while the ceiling was at least half that in height.

Their assessment was less than a few seconds before their full attention quickly fell upon Dabura standing several yards in front of them, arms crossed over his chest and a smug look on his face.

Dabura had been assessing the shorter creatures at the same time and grinned.

Though they were a little more than a third of his height, he could tell that size was not going to give him an advantage in a fight with the Cell Juniors.

"They may be small, but I believe they will be fast!" Dabura thought to himself as he uncrossed his arms to hold them at his sides.

Giving a slight bow out of politeness Dabura said, "Welcome to my meditation chamber! I am the Demon King Dabura and I will be your opponent if you so choose. But before we get to that I do have a few questions."

Two said, "King huh? That would explain your strength! But go ahead, ask us!"

"Some time ago, my master and I became aware of a great power emanating from the planet Earth," Dabura questioned with a sly grin. "Judging by where you came from and where we're going, I'm guessing you were involved somehow?"

Both Cell Juniors sneered and replied in unison, "Maybeee!"

"And I'm guessing you haven't destroyed it just yet? There are other strong powers in that direction right now," Dabura continued.

"Not yet. But what interest do you have in that planet?" Two added crossly, not wanting get into the details.

"They're from Earth?! What does this mean? Why do they look like Lord Frieza?" the blue warrior thought in earnest.

"Ah, then I shall get right to it! Would you consider joining my master in his quest to resurrect the universe's ultimate being, Majin Buu?" Dabura asked of the Cell Juniors. "He slumbers deep within the depths of that planet. We also sense great potential from you two and would hate to waste it!"

Though slightly surprised at the bold claim from the demon in front of them, Two answered calmly, "We are already on a quest of our own to resurrect the true power of the universe, our father Cell. He is the perfect warrior in every aspect and there is no equal except for maybe us!"

"Rubbish!" Dabura spat in reply. "Besides, Master Babidi can make you stronger if you only submit to his will. His magic powers are limitless!"

"The only price is our free will?" Five piped up. "Nah, we'll pass on that thanks!"

"And whoever or whatever this "boo creature" is it looks like our interests clash with yours!" Two added. "We would hate to have our plans ruined if you try to destroy the Earth before we were ready to do it ourselves! Not that you'd be able to anyway but we're also itching for a fight!"

"Arrogant brats! Very well! You leave me no choice but to destroy you!" Dabura replied with a devilish grin. "To be honest, I was hoping you'd decline our invitation!"

Babidi's voice suddenly chimed in around them, "So be it! Let's move this battle to a more suitable location! But first, Sorbet get down here! I need to you to run the ship as temporary acting captain while this battle plays out!"

"Y-Yes, sir!" the blue soldier complied as he quickly stepped on the elevator platform and as it hummed to life, he disappeared further into the depths of the ship. "Finally some respect!"

Gazing at the combatants through his crystal ball, Babidi raised his hands and faced his palms toward the glass.

As the wizard muttered seemingly unintelligible words, white light rushed around the three warriors and in moments they were standing in the rocky landscape of a bizarrely red skied world similar to Earth.

"There! Now you can fight to your heart's content!" Babidi called gleefully. "Only I know the location of the chosen planet for your battle!"

Two and Five gazed at the world around for a few moments before locking their eyes with Dabura's.

"And know that this spell I cast will continue until only one fighter remains or the impossible: you manage to kill me!" Babidi's voice rang across the battlefield as he laughed at the absurd idea of them killing him. "Any damage you take from the battle will be used to restore Majin Buu!"

Any hint of amusement in the Cell Juniors was gone with that statement and they glared at Dabura who just chuckled at his master's words.

"The wizard will pay for messing with our plans!" Five said angrily.

"We'll deal with him soon enough. We might have a secret weapon," Two said more calmly than he felt. "Let's take care of Dabura first!"

"So, shall we get started?" Dabura spoke grinning from ear to ear as he placed his body into a fighting stance, fists drawn and ready to be unleashed. "Feel free to come at me together. It will make little difference of the outcome!"

Both Cell Juniors sneered as they got into their own fighting stances with their bodies bladed.

"Fine! But you'll regret that statement!" Two said with eagerness and immediately disappeared as if phasing out of existence while Five lunged toward the looming red giant in front of him.

Dabura felt Two's energy move to his immediate left and ducked mere seconds before the intended right kick to his face.

Five had at this point struck toward Dabura's head with a hard right punch only to have it blocked with the strong right elbow of the demon king.

As quickly as he ducked, Dabura reached up and grabbed at Two's left foot squeezing it hard while blocking the punch from Five.

Not giving Five a chance to punch with his left hand, Dabura jumped backward while pulling at Two, landed on his left foot and spun around to slam Two into the ground several feet in front him.

Five had again lunged at Dabura just as his brother's face pounded into the ground but Dabura had expected a continued assault and he jumped tens of feet into the air to avoid being hit by Five's next attack.

Quickly taking his right hand and amassing a dense orange glowing Ki ball in his palm, Dabura let the energy explode into a dense beam no wider than his own body while aiming it at the recovering Cell Juniors.

Two had just gotten to his feet, while Five had just reoriented his body to chase Dabura skyward when they were assaulted by the beam and caught in the ensuing explosion of energy.

Dabura hovered in the air as dirt and smoke rose in a moderately sized dome-like shape under him, patiently waiting for a counterattack.

Several seconds passed as the smoke began to settle and he sensed no motion in the air around him.

"I can still feel your energies! Show yourselves!" Dabura called over the raining dirt below.

Dabura heard the shout of a strange word he couldn't make out and then saw a faint golden glow emanate from the cloud before a small drill shaped mass of energy surged toward him.

Barely managing to dodge it, Dabura darted to his right a few inches to avoid the drilling energy but his cape received a nice round hole nearly as large his face.

"What was that?!" Dabura shouted in shocked surprise.

The only response he received was the ascent of a small white ball of Ki rushing at his chest.

"Are parlor tricks all you can muster?!"Dabura taunted as he held out his right hand to stop the incoming white Ki ball as it would easily fit in the palm of his hand.

At the last second before making contact, the Ki ball rushed upward and parallel to Dabura's outstretched hand and before he could react it plowed into his face and exploded on contact.

He yelled a loud "GRAHH!" as the light exploded.

During the short span of time they had been hidden in dusty dome, the two Cell Juniors worked on their next strategy.

With the large dome of dirt masking their motions, Two and Five had powered up their Ki and their auras began flashing in golden colors.

They prepared their counterattack with Two charging up a Special Beam Cannon while Five worked on creating a Spirit Ball.

As soon as Two finished firing the drill, he zipped at high speeds toward the distracted Dabura while Five unleashed his Spirit Ball.

While Dabura took the heated explosion of energy to his face, Two had moved behind the demon king.

Before Dabura could even detect Two's energy behind him, Two struck a hard right kick into Dabura's back and sent the demon king diving head long at an angle into the ground below.

Unable to recover fast enough, Dabura slammed into the dirt and slid several hundred yards away while creating a long and fairly deep trench in his wake.

Not expecting to be hit so hard and fast, it took Dabura a moment or two to get back to his feet.

By the time he did Five had rushed at the demon king once more.

Dabura dodged the incoming Cell Junior's attempted punch but unlike the previous attempt, Five grasped at Dabura's white cape and quickly lifted himself into the air while pulling it with him.

No time to react, Dabura felt himself being choked as Five tugged harder at the cape and lifted the demon skyward.

As if he were heaving a heavy sack of potatoes forward over his shoulder, Five raised his hands above his head and hurled Dabura into the ground.

The result was an ensuing large and satisfying explosion of rock and dirt.

Back at the ship, Babidi and Sorbet had been watching the battle play out and both were dumbfounded at the relentless beating Dabura was taking.

"No! No! No! Dabura don't you dare fail me with us having such a glorious opportunity to resurrect Majin Buu!" Babidi screamed into his crystal ball.

As Dabura slowly wrestled his body from the rocks and dirt, Two and Five landed a few feet behind him and snickered maliciously at Dabura's struggles.

"I told you, you'd regret taking us on at the same time!" Two said cockily.

Dabura managed to stand upright and shook off the minor aches he was feeling.

His face was scratched and some blood trickled from his lips but inwardly he was enjoying the battle.

"Heh, heh, heh!" Dabura chuckled cracking his neck, wiping the blood from his face, and dirt off of his clothes.

"Impressive! I was hoping you two were more of a challenge! I haven't had a good battle in a long time!"

"Oh, good!" Five commented. "You're holding back on us and that was just a warmup then, yes?"

Dabura gave a menacing grin as a reply while spreading his arms out wide and started yelling.

Large arcs of blueish and greenish white electricity began amassing around his body as Dabura pulled on his inner strength and his Ki energy soared.

The ground beneath his feet started cracking under the pressure with an earthquake shaking the terrain for miles around.

Both Cell Juniors felt the sharp increase in his energy and were briefly shocked at how much he was powering up.

"He really is a strong one! Even Vegeta would've had a tough time with this guy!" Five telepathically sent to his brother.

"Forget Vegeta! Father could've had a hard time!" Two replied as sweat began to trickle down his brow. "We'd better unleash all our power or he'll be a real problem!"

Two and Five's bodies immediately exploded in golden energy as they unleashed all hidden reserves of strength.

The Cell Juniors' Ki energies exploded around them while the ground shaking intensified.

Cracks in the hard dirt under all three combatants thickened and spread in a spider web fashion for hundreds of feet around.

As everyone reached their own respective limits, the terrain slowed its shaking to nothing and the two Cell Juniors stood with their golden auras flashing rapidly, daring Dabura to make his first move.

"That is an interesting display of energy you have," Dabura said with actual surprise in his voice before chuckling. "But my power and skill will be enough to destroy you."

"We expected a decent challenge from you," Two said with a smile. "But your bulky build might slow you down. Plus, there are two of us and only one of you."

"True, I am at a slight disadvantage as far as numbers go," Dabura said calmly while smiling and raising his left hand to be level with his left shoulder. "But I have a few tricks of my own and you shouldn't be fooled by my appearance alone! SWORD!"

As he shouted, a large blade and proportionally large X-shaped yellow hilt materialized in his left hand.

Dabura instantly rushed forward while grabbing the hilt with both hands, and took aim at a slightly stunned Two and Five.

Never mind the sudden appearance of a weapon, Dabura's speed had also caught both Cell Juniors by surprise.

"Taste my steel blade!" Dabura shouted as he sliced at Two in a strong downward cut.

Two didn't react in time to avoid the strike and was cut between his right shoulder and neck as the blade tore through the Cell Junior's body.

Both Two's right arm and leg were severed with a large chunk of his body also being cut off from the rest of his torso.

His broken "third" fell to the ground while blood gushed out the Cell Junior's right side and he screamed in sheer agony at the pain.

Dabura set his sights immediately on Five pulling the steel blade back to his left and pointed the tip at the remaining shocked Cell Junior.

"You're next!" Dabura shouted while laughing maliciously and thrust the blade right at Five's face.

Quick reflexes on Five's part allowed him to clap his hands together and stop the blade from penetrating through his entire head.

Hissing in pain as the blade had still pierced through the skin on his upper lip and was centimeters away from breaking a tooth; Five struggled to force the blade back from his body.

They both stood at a stalemate for several minutes barely budging.

It didn't last as Dabura was able to put his weight behind the attack and used that to force Five back and dig his heels into the ground.

"Damn you!" Five grunted as the sheer strength of the large demon was beginning to overwhelm the smaller Cell Junior.

"Hah! Hah! Hah!" Dabura chided. "Can't take the pain much longer can you, you little imp?! It will be less painful than your brother's if you let me through!"

A sudden and powerful punch to Dabura's left cheek caught him off guard and he found himself sliding face first sideways through the dirt, followed by several large boulders and with his final destination being a small rocky hill.

As rocks and dirt exploded from Dabura's impact, the sword flew completely out of his grasp and cut deep into a large stone several hundred feet to the left of Dabura's new location.

Coming to his senses and quickly getting to his feet, Dabura looked and then gasped at the newly restored Cell Junior Two staring him down with a cold but triumphant glare.

"How did you survive that?!" Dabura shouted incredulously. "I practically cleaved you in two!"

A small grin crossed Two's face as he replied with, "My brother and I are able to regenerate parts of our body with ease! Can you do the same I wonder?"

"Rrrg! Guess I'll have to cut your energy supply down to nothing or incinerate your bodies completely then!" Dabura retorted in annoyance. "Still, that regeneration ability must come with some sort of price! You're energy dropped a bit!"

"I had no idea that there were beings out there that can do that!" Babidi mused from his safe location on the ship. "Dabura had better come up with a quick way to end this or my plans will be for nothing!"

"It's just like in the reports I read after Lord Frieza's defeat on Namek! They have Namekian abilities too?! Who the hell are these guys?!" Sorbet thought to himself as he watched from behind the wizard.

"Ow, ow, ow!" Five yelled as he clutched at the slight scar across the space between his nose and mouth. "You could've warned me you were going to deck him like that!"

"Oh shut up!" Two hissed in anger. "You didn't have to regrow nearly half your body like I just did! Keep the scars or fix it!"

"Fine! Fair enough!" Five replied turning his attention back to Dabura. "Let's charge him and wear down his defenses!"

Two nodded quickly and powering up their auras again in unison, the two Cell Juniors launched their next assault on Dabura.

"Forgive me master but it will be difficult to beat the energy we need out of them both!" Dabura thought to himself as they sped at him. "My only choice is to take out one and then the remaining brother will be child's play!"

"BRING IT ON! You'll soon regret challenging the king of demons!" Dabura shouted as Two rushed high and intended to punch at his face while Five rushed to Dabura's lower body intending to kick him off balance.

Dabura's reflexes were quick and he blocked both the punch and kick with his right arm and right leg respectively.

Two followed up with a flurry of punches to break through Dabura's upper body defense while Five attempted to flank Dabura from behind.

Dabura saw their attempts and instead of trading blow for blow, he settled for simply defending and evading their attacks.

Two and Five's speeds kept Dabura on his guard as he took some glancing blows away from vital spots while looking for an opening in their assault.

Still, he kept fairly calm and expended as little energy as he could while going on the defensive.

As the seconds dragged on, it was clear that these two creatures were not expending much energy on their part either, but they were starting to get repetitive enough that Dabura saw a pattern in their attacks.

"I've got you now!" Dabura shouted eagerly while dodging a punch and kick intended for his head for the hundredth time. "This is exactly why you will never win! You're but a pair of amateur warriors and nothing more!"

"What do you mean?" Five said between punches. "We have you dodging for your life!"

Dabura grinned as he channeled Ki energy into his mouth and more specifically his own saliva.

"I'll show you!" Dabura said after a few moments of preparation and spat at Five hitting the Cell Junior directly on his right cheek with a big squelch.

At this both Cell Juniors jumped back nearly landing side by side while Five rubbed at his cheek in disgust with his right hand.

"That was disg-" Five began replying before he felt a weird feeling of heaviness rush across his body in slow motion.

Dabura grinned maliciously and watched the curse take over his foe's body.

The heaviness spread rapidly over Five's face, neck, right arm, and then the rest of his outer body and inner organs.

In moments there was nothing: no thought or feeling in the Cell Junior's mind or body whatsoever.

Two had watched in wide eyed horror as Five's body turned into a gray colored stone.

"What is this?!" Two shouted in a rage.

Dabura laughed with glee at his newly created statue. "I can turn anything I want to stone by simply spitting on it! You'll have to kill me to change him back!"

Two stared at him in a mix of pure shock and rage.

"Ahh, what's the matter?" Dabura chided. "Did I take your brother away from you? Don't worry because you'll get your turn soon enough!"

"Don't get me wrong, demon! I do not share this thing called "love" that you think lesser beings have!" Two said calmer than he felt. "But I will not let a lesser being make a fool out of my family's perfection or stop us from achieving our goals!"

"Oh really?" Dabura replied in amusement while charging Ki for the next attack. "Then let me see you back up those claims!"

Dabura quickly darted backward several yards while raising his right hand and faced the palm toward Two.

Two leapt forward in an attempt to stop Dabura's attack but unbeknownst to the enraged Cell Junior, Dabura counted on Two to chase after him.

Specifically targeting Five's petrified body and with his Ki already building, Dabura quickly charged up a mass of crackling red energy and fired it seconds after creating the energy.

Expecting it to hit him, Two reacted fast enough to block and crossed his arms out in front to shield himself from the immensely powerful attack.

To his surprise it completely passed his body and exploded behind him creating a large shockwave in its wake.

Unable to reign in control, the shockwave gave Two an unwanted boost and he flew further forward than intended.

Dabura reacted on instinct and slammed his left knee into the approaching smaller fighter's stomach which hurled Two backwards into the exploding dust.

Two landed on his back and skidded several feet along the ground near where Five had been turned to stone.

As the dust settled and Two managed to get back to his feet ready to counter, it didn't take long to figure out what had just happened.

He looked at where Five's statue should have been but all that was there was charred dirt.

"You bastard!" Two shouted as he gritted his teeth and squeezed his fists strong enough to draw blood.

In one swift shot Dabura had obliterated the stone statue leaving no trace of the former Cell Junior Five.

"It's a shame I had to destroy him without damaging your brother more, but at least the energy I extract from you will push us closer to resurrecting Majin Buu!" Dabura exclaimed with maniacal laughter. "I am clearly holding the advantage now! What can you do by yourself?"

Babidi and Sorbet continued to watch from the ship's safety and were shocked by the outcome of the battle so far.

"Argh! If only Dabura could've gotten more energy out of that imp before destroying him!" Babidi yelled in frustration. "The remaining brother has provided less than I had hoped!"

"Dabura! Make sure you pound him into the dirt before killing him!" Babidi commanded across the battlefield. "I want all of his energy absorbed!"

Sorbet only looked on in awe and waited to see what the outcome of this battle would be.

Dabura just nodded and grinned to the air around him and said, "Of course, Master. It shall be done!"

Two stared a hate filled death glare at Dabura and giving an eerie smile replied with, "No! I will do the absorbing this time! Your power is nothing compared to mine!"

"You're going to absorb me? I'm several times your height! And my power is nothing to you now is it? Hah!" Dabura gave a slightly shocked expression before snickering in derision at that statement. "I've been crossing the universe for millennia and seen the fighting prowess of many beings! My skill is far superior to your own!"

Two raised his right hand overhead as if holding up a plate and willed pink energy to amass near the center of his palm.

"We'll see!" Two hissed. "I'm going to cut you into pieces for what you've done!"

In seconds a glowing and spinning pink disk formed and grew to be wider than his entire body while Two held it in place over his head.

"Dodge this!" Two hollered as he threw the spinning disk toward Dabura.

Smiling and unafraid, Dabura leapt into the sky as the pink disc zoomed through where his waist had been moments before.

"Interesting ability, imp!" Dabura called as he put his right hand above his head and willed another weapon of choice to appear in his hand: a large spear. "But I prefer actual sharp weapons!"

Dabura quickly threw the spear at Two and struck the Cell Junior with the tip charging through his upper chest and neck.

The force of the spear impaling him pulled the Cell Junior backwards and he fell on his back seemingly in shock while blood poured out his gaping hole.

Dabura instantly charged up another ball of orange colored Ki in his right palm while gliding backwards and willed it to burst into a large beam, colliding with Two's body in seconds.

Another exploding dome of energy erupted on the planet but this one was bigger and stronger with several hundred feet of landscape decimated by the blast.

Dabura landed near the edge of the dust and debris raining from the sky and waited for his foe's next attack.

Though the demon king could still feel the energy from Two, it wasn't as strong as it had been moments before.

"Come on out!" Dabura called into the noise of falling rock and dirt. "I know you're still alive in there! Your regenerating ability should-!"

The strange whirring sound of an incoming attack from behind registered in his ears and Dabura turned around to block it as he was expecting a fist or a foot.

Dabura instinctively crossed his arms over his body to block but realized too late that it was neither a foot nor a fist.

Instead the previous spinning pink disc had returned to cut him once again.

"GAH!" Dabura shouted and could only move fast enough to rotate his body so that his head was out of the path of the whirring saucer.

In retrospect, ducking under the strange sound would have been best as Dabura felt the disc cut through flesh and bone.

The demon king screamed in agonizing pain as blood gushed from his now open wounds.

Dust surrounding Two had cleared at last and a fully regenerated Cell Junior stood near the center of a wide but not very deep crater.

His body was scratched and covered in bruises but his face had a triumphant sneer on it.

Two watched Dabura screaming in agony as the pink saucer returned to his outstretched right arm, only to shrink into a small orb of energy and vanish without a trace.

Dabura had lost the limbs of both his arms just past the elbows and the pieces lay in a bloody pile many feet below where he floated in the air.

Two was grinning from ear to ear maliciously and with smug satisfaction, he glided into the air and let his tail extend from his back.

Coming within several feet of his enemy, Two couldn't help but be overcome with a fit of giggles at the nearly armless demon in front of him.

'My…my…arms!…YOU…WRETCH!" Dabura mustered in fury as he attempted to kick at Two with his right foot.

Two easily dodged the attack and clasping his hands above his head into a giant fist, slammed them down on Dabura's skull.

Dabura plummeted with the force of the blow into the ground below and created a crater of broken dirt and rock several feet in diameter around him.

He lay there gasping for breath from the intense pain as Two slowly descended until he was standing on the demon king's chest and put pressure on him.

Dabura grunted in response and stared up at Two with teeth clenched and seething hatred in his eyes.

"Hmm, I guess you can't regenerate your torn limbs after all!" Two chided while pressing harder on Dabura's chest with his feet.

Dabura groaned in pain and gritting his teeth was ready to turn Two to stone by preparing to spit at him.

However, Dabura's lust for swift revenge vanished when he caught sight of the strange needle like appendage now pointed at him from just above Two's head.

"Wh-what is that?!" Dabura asked as a feeling he rarely ever encountered welled up inside him.

"My spear!" Two said with monstrous hunger in his eyes. "I told you I was going to absorb you!"

Back at the ship, Babidi was experiencing a roller coaster of emotions over the last few minutes.

After watching his most valued warrior about to be defeated, he screamed into the crystal ball. "DABURA! HURRY! SPIT ON HIM OR HE'LL COME AFTER ME NEXT! I'll take care of those wounds later!"

Two quickly stomped his left foot onto Dabura's face to cause more pain and prevent the demon king from trying his stone spit attack again.

A muffled grunt of pain was the response he received and brought the Cell Junior huge satisfaction.

"Now! I'll be taking your energy!" Two shouted maniacally as his tail tip plunged into Dabura's stomach and instant power like he never felt before began pouring into his own body.

Blood curdling roars of pain could be heard for miles around their fight and whatever animals had been in the vicinity fled as the demon king was slowly absorbed into the Cell Junior.

"You-monster!" was the last thing Dabura could say as he looked into a face of pure lustful evil that even he felt afraid of before darkness took him.

"This is only the start of my revenge!" Two shouted to the world around while his tail sank beneath the piling of clothes to drain every loss drop of Dabura's bio matter. "I'm coming for you, wizard!"

With the last sounds of Two's tail absorbing his recent meal finished, Two felt power surge through his body and his aura erupted into a fiercer and quicker flashing golden color with the addition of a small dark red hue.

"YESS! Brother you will not have died in vain!" Two shouted to the world around him. "THIS POWER IS AMAZING! I might even be able to beat that brat with this kind of power at my disposal!"

Having celebrated his victory and feeling better than ever, Two let his tail recede into his back and slowly reduced his golden aura to nothing.

As he did, the massive red colored world around him faded into the darker meditation chamber on Babidi's ship.

"Now to take care of that wizard and get back to my quest!" He thought as his eyes darted to the open hole of the elevator shaft a few yards away.

"No! Dabura!" Babidi lamented in pure shock. "Now who will protect me?!"

Though still in shock over what he had just witnessed, Babidi's mind raced over what to do and came to an obvious realization. "This creature is now much stronger than before! Forget Dabura! I can enslave him and still achieve my goals!"

Chuckling at the prospect of a more powerful warrior to use, Babidi mentally focused on Two through his crystal ball and specifically the darkness within the Cell Junior.

Two had just stepped to within inches of the elevator platform when he felt a strong and powerful heaviness overtake him.

Babidi invaded his mind and called to him, "I can make you so much stronger than you are now! All you have to do is submit to my will!"

Two collapsed to his feet and clutched at his head as it ached with the echoing sound and power of the wizard trying to control him.

"Get…get…OUT!" Two screamed and flared up his aura to fight off the mental invasion.

Babidi felt a strong barrier surround the mind of Cell Junior Two as it began forcing him away.

"What?! Nobody resists the great wizard Babidi!" he shouted as he tried to invade Two's mind once more.

Throughout the struggle, Sorbet watched as Babidi put all of his focus into the crystal ball and paid no attention to the room around him.

"First he wanted to destroy! Now he wants to enslave that creature?" Sorbet pondered out loud. "Not to mention completely casting aside his most powerful warrior like leftovers! Bah, he just hides behind stronger warriors, makes them do all the dirty work, and has little to no appreciation for them. Coward!"

Try as he might, Babidi was failing in his attempt to turn Two into his slave. "How can you be this strong! No one defies me!"

Babidi's body glowed a bright blue color while his crystal ball began glowing to intense enough proportions that Sorbet had to shield his eyes, else he would go blind.

"You can't keep me from my own goal, wizard!" Two shouted as his golden aura began flashing faster and more intensely again.

The battle of minds began creating cracks in the ship's wall and Babidi quickly realized that his efforts to enslave Two would be the end of his plans entirely.

"Curse you, you stupid imp!" Babidi shouted as he stopped his mental invasion and took some much needed deep breaths.

Two was also breathing heavily and kept his golden aura flashing in case Babidi tried again.

"Fine! If I can't enslave you, I'll just seal you away until you show me loyalty!" Babidi spat in frustration as he raised his hands over his head. "If Majin Buu can be sealed away, then so can you!"

Two heard the echoes of the wizard's next plan in his head and quickly moved to the elevator platform.

"He can't cast his spells if he doesn't have a stationary target!" Two thought hopefully as he landed on the platform and upon registering his weight, it began descending to the lowest level of the ship.

Babidi took notice and though mildly irritated had to laugh.

"A clever ploy but as you are on my ship and so long as I have my crystal ball to keep you in my sights, I can locate you with ease!" Babidi called and began casting his spell with Two clearly focused on in his crystal ball. "Paparapapa!"

As Two descended with the elevator, he felt another strong heaviness begin to overtake his body and tried to force it off with his own intent and aura once more.

"Fight this all you want, you fool!" Babidi hollered while watching the Cell Junior stiffen up. "This isn't a mind invasion! I can seal you where I see fit with ease! Even in the elevator shaft if I must!"

The platform had reached the bottom floor at this point but true to Babidi's words, the door would not open and Two felt a strong pressure holding him in place.

Trying his hardest to move a muscle of any kind and building further tension, Two only made the pressure on his body stronger.

"There!" Babidi shouted triumphantly. "That should hold you until I'm ready to move you to a more suitable storage container! Maybe then I can find a way to control you!"

He cackled madly at the recent prized possession and all but forgot that Sorbet was in the room staring at him with a mix of shock and anger.

"Weak minded fool! No one can compare to Lord Frieza but maybe this warrior could reign in control for the Frieza Empire until the time is right!" Sorbet thought angrily while staring at Babidi from behind. Babidi probably won't need me much longer anyway and I am tired of being this arrogant and cowardly wizard's lackey!"

Making up his mind, Sorbet lifted his right hand with his gold ring on and pointed it at Babidi's head.

"I was planning to do this at some point when they trusted me enough to lower their guard," Sorbet thought while grinning and a red light began amassing along the center of the ring facing Babidi, "No other perfect time like now!"

"See you in hell, you blithering fool!" Sorbet shouted as the red light exploded into a red laser beam slightly bigger than the ring itself.

"What?!" Babidi cried in renewed anger as he turned around to see a red light coming at him.

Meeting no resistance, the red beam burned a gaping hole through the space between Babidi's gaping eyes and out the back of his head.

Making contact with the crystal ball, the beam exploded it into hundreds of tiny glass pieces.

The force of the explosion propelled Babidi's convulsing body back from the pedestal but he never felt it as he was dead before it shattered.

To be sure that he was gone, Sorbet fired several more beams through the wizards chest.

"Who's useless now?!" Sorbet spat at the lifeless corpse.

Soon after, the elevator door opened up and Two stepped out to see why he was able to move again.

The scene of a grinning Sorbet and several feet away the collapsed body of the dead wizard with hundreds of tiny glass shards covering his lifeless body and several burn holes told Two all he needed.

Grinning in return Two spoke up with, "So, the secret weapon turned out to be useful after all!"

"Secret weapon?" Sorbet questioned with slight confusion. "You mean me?"

Crossing his arms and eying Babidi's corpse with satisfaction Two said, "Yes. I was hoping you'd turn on this weakling and help us out, sad as it is depending on another lower being like yourself."

"Uh…sure!" Sorbet said not sure whether to take that as a compliment or an insult.

"You know I could obliterate you in a second," Two added smugly. "But see, I also think you can be more useful to me alive and more so than the remaining soldiers on this ship."

"Ah, I was never part of his crew officially," Sorbet replied nervously. "I just happened to be on a mission that put me in the same place at the same time as they were."

"And he didn't try to put you under his control?" Two asked curiously.

"Well, I managed to convince him I wanted to do his bidding without needing control," Sorbet said with a sly grin. "See, I can be very persuasive."

"Ah. So, I'm guessing you joined up with them just to resurrect Frieza?" Two asked still grinning.

Sorbet was caught off-guard at the quick deduction and asked, "You know about Lord Frieza and the dragon balls?"

"Of course!" Two said in a cheerful child-like nature before immediately grinning devilishly. "You might even call us distant brothers!"

"Uh, that's some of the best news I've heard since getting on this ship!" Sorbet exclaimed.

"Well, don't get too excited!" Two replied with a smug smile. "You won't be able to use the dragon balls as they are now. They won't be ready for almost another Earth year at this point."

"Blast it!" Sorbet cursed knowing it was too good to be true. "I can't wait that long!"

"Maybe, I can be of some help!" Two added while childishly giggling. "We do have similar goals!"

Sorbet thought it over for a few moments before replying, "So, you'd help me rebuild Frieza's empire? If so, I'll help you get whatever you want!"

"Interesting! Just like that?" Two asked with mild surprise.

"I'm not dumb or short sighted like that stupid magician!" Sorbet replied defiantly but excitedly. "You're likeness to Lord Frieza is what we need to crush the rebellions we've been encountering since his defeat on Earth!"

"Not short sighted, huh? All you care about is getting your master back!" Two thought inwardly grinning. "But I see no reason why I can't play along for a while and grow more powerful still!"

Ok. Then I will help you out but first take me to the planet Yardrat!" Two replied. "The inhabitants have something I desperately need!"
