Darkness was just that, darkness. Evil and complex.

Gabriel saw it in Dracula's icy eyes as the vampire stood before him, staring hungrily at him.

It was cold and cruel, animalistic and simple.

"Do not fool yourself, dear, dear Gabriel." The seductive whisper at his ear sent shivers down his naked back.

Gabriel gritted his teeth as the vampire pressed a soft, wet kiss to his collarbone, glaring up at his captor from the floor.

"You no longer fight your chains, Gabriel."

Gabriel closed his eyes.

"You see, every human being has darkness in their soul already, Gabriel."

Gabriel shivered.

"It's so easy for a human to stumble, and join the darkness."

Gabriel sighed as Dracula nibbled his earlobe.

"You know what I want, Gabriel."

Gabriel was still.

A chuckle; Dracula ran a soft hand through Gabriel's brown hair. "You know, Gabriel."

Gabriel nodded.

"Stumble, Gabriel."

Gabriel opened his eyes.

"Stumble, and join me, Gabriel."

Gabriel stumbled.
