The Boy Hero

By PyroChilde

Shining emeralds set in stone

The boy hero stands alone

A mask of granite upon his face

This child steps up to take his place

---

Famous, beloved, all for a name

A savior, the ignorant proclaim

He bears their burdens silently

And day by day dies quietly

---

For they've forgotten of just don't care

About the child lost in despair

Too old for tears, he cannot cry

Yet just a boy, too young to die

AN: I have a problem with the entire wizarding world putting all the responsiblities of ending a war on a kid. I think someone needs to remind them that their "chosen one" is only a child. R&R, its just a good thing to do.
