Kakashi glared at the intruder. His mask pulled back into its original place. His Sharingan covered by his hitai-ate. "I want answers." He demanded as he looked over to the older man. Jiraiya kicked shards of glass out of his way. Before he sat down in one of the visitors chairs. Legs crossed as he got comfortable. He took a swig of stolen sake. All of his actions annoyed the copy ninja and an impatient growl ripped from his throat. The sannin sighed and shook his head.

"I saw Sakura go of her own free will," Jiraiya said before he took another swig of sake and savoured its flavour. "She went on her own. So you need to stop thinking about her. Moping around won't fix or make this situation any better. However swift action will. The Akatsuki have been quiet but that doesn't mean they not readying themselves. You, as the Hokage, need to prepare the village." He said before he emptied the bottle and dropped it to the floor. "I'm going to follow up on some leads. Be careful." Were his last words as he disappeared with a poof of smoke.

Kakashi looked out at his village. The night sky held several little stars. The crescent moon cast an eerie glow over the darkness. "Shouldn't I be the one, telling you to be careful old man." He whispered. While he contemplated on the village's next move. The alcohol slowly dissipated from his body. Which made his thought more focused and realistic.

The blond once again released a sigh. He lay sprawled out on his bed. Sweat beaded across his bare chest. His eyes closed to the world but he didn't dream. No, his mind conjured up a plan. Even though it was unusual. His mind generally didn't work like that. He was the kind that just rushed in without a thought. He used his brute strength rather than his intelligence. But he wasn't so stupid, that he didn't know the importance of a plan. He knew when he became Hokage he would have to play in politics. Have intelligent, well-formulated opinions and plans. If he wanted peace he would have to earn it through peaceful means. He knew violence could only beget more violence.

Naruto wiped his forehead before he lazily sat up. He wondered about his wife and sons. Then his thought moved to Kakashi, the current Hokage. Then his mind turned to Sakura, who had invaded his thoughts a lot recently. Ever since they were placed on team seven, they had seen each other every day. Apart from his two and half year absence, when he went to train with Jiraiya. That had been several years ago. Since then she had been a constant in his life. Several weeks had passed since he last saw her. A knock interrupted his dark thoughts. He got up, a dull smile tainted his face. Gaara stood outside, dressed in casual clothing. The blond's smile grew brighter. A good spar would surely help him think. "Naruto, we have our top ninjas watching you. So don't try anything stupid." The crimson haired man stated as he led the way to the training grounds.

Several ninjas surrounded him. But they all trembled in fear, as they looked upon his Sharingan. More blood stained the cliff, it trailed down in riverets. Their bodies tumbled down in gravity's cruel hold. He heard the dead hit the snowy floor. With delightful thuds and fireworks of red decorated around them. Even as more shinobi appeared, he didn't stop. He raced through his opponents, a macabre grin on his face. Blood slicked his hair back, little trickles seeped into his hitai-ate. At the top of the cliff, he found what the shinobi had tried to protect. Six genjutsu interlocked and formed a complex illusion of ice. That shielded the hidden village from unwanted guests. Unfortunately for them, no illusions fooled his eyes.

There would be no point in going in silently. The enemy was already aware of his presence. He might as well send them a present. A colossal sphere of turbulent fire streamed out of his mouth. It careened into the hidden entrance. Melted the ice and flesh of any that dared to get in its way. The fire broke into the village and could be seen as a bright flash in the sky. Before it burst apart and released tiny sparks of flames. That melted away harmlessly in the snow. Shinobi immediately went to stop the threat. While the civilians panicked. They grouped together and rushed to find somewhere safe. A scythe lined with red sliced across the air. As well as any people that got in its way. Dismembered fingers flew. As torsos slid away from legs. Blood seeped into the snow and civilians screamed. "The leader said to only kill the rebellious civilians," Kakuzu said to his partner.

She had been asleep for a handful of days. Her chakra slowly rose throughout the hours. But as her captor, he couldn't allow her to get the upper hand. So his fingers trailed across the bite mark. His chakra trickled into her defenseless body. She whimpered quietly as the seal took hold. An intricate pattern of black spirals twirled into a circle. Which enclosed around the bite mark that had begun to bleed. He licked the blood away before he kissed her lips. "Soon you'll be all mine." He whispered although the demon inside him hissed for more. He knew she would awake soon so he left her in his room.

"The leaf village is so predictable. The Uchiha knew they would send the jinchuriki to sand. It was only a matter of waiting." Deidara said in a happy rush. As he watched the container spar. His partner was obviously bored as his dull eyes roamed over his former village. "He said the blond would come after the girl. We just have to wait." The man said as the mouths on his hands absently-mindedly chewed on clay. "How long do you think it will take? The Uchiha said he was emotionally attached to her and he always followed his heart."

A/N: Thank you.
