There's nothing like a new episode to get the creative juices flowing and damn what a show! So here is John's need in the 'Need Series'. Sorry for the delay and I hope you enjoy and as always please review!
Damn he needs this woman like he needs ammunition for his weapons. She's stubborn. She's beautiful. She's tough. She's a great mother. She's fair, and a kick-ass cop. Shit, he thinks he has it bad and really doesn't care because he needs…her. He needs her smile that always soothes the savage beast…namely him. He needs the way she gets exasperated with him always ready to kick his ass or put her foot up it. And if he's being honest that's at least once a day. Okay maybe twice. Alright all the fucking time, he thinks to himself and smirking. Shaking his head he realizes that he's never needed another woman like he needs'his Joss'. And make no mistake she…was…his! Of course she doesn't know it yet he thinks smirking just thinking about what would happen if or when he decides to tell her…fireworks. Simply… fireworks!
He'd never felt this way about a woman before, not even Jessica. With Jessica, while he did love her, she needed something he'd never been able to give her. He sees that now clear as day. Where Jessica was weak Joss is strong. He doubts that Jessica could have handled this new life he's carved out for himself. He thinks, no he knows, it would have destroyed them both. But Joss would do like she did and pop open her trunk, get out her own arsenal of guns, while standing by his side kicking ass, taking names, all the while bitching him out for getting into trouble in the first place.
Just thinking about her opening her trunk that day and showing him her very own arsenal of weapons has him smiling and shaking his head because that day Joss really did become a woman after his own heart. Damn, he feels like a teenager with a crush on a girl for the very first time. Maybe that's why it feels as if it's all so new because it was her…Joss. And he needs that feeling that she gives him…a sense of hope. There's a saying that hope springs eternal. The meaning of eternal is without beginning or ending, something that lasts forever.
John realizes he wants no he needs a forever with Joss. He needs to find Finch because before he can get his forever, he needs her help to find Finch and get him back so he can start working on his needs with Joss. He needs her help getting his friend back who helped him find a new purpose in life other than drinking himself to death. He needs her help taking care of his new dog, Bear. And speaking of which, hell even the damn dog has fallen under her spell. He caught her talking to Bear as if he was a kid, scolding him for chewing on her shoes and the damn dog hung his head as if ashamed of disappointing her. Yes she really does tame even the most savage of beasts…man and dog alike.
Sighing, he knows that after he locates Finch, he and the good Detective need to talk about their future because he needs one with her and he thinks she needs him just as much. Yes, the need he has for Joss has been building these past months and he knows that needs to be addressed and dealt with in the most satisfying way possible.
