A quick little one-shot that I've done as I've had a lack of inspiration for anything longer at the moment.

They're not mine, I've just playing with them.

Emma was leaning against the back wall of the meeting room in town hall. The twice weekly meetings her parents had instigated were compulsory for her, both as Sheriff and as daughter to Snow White and Prince Charming. That didn't mean she enjoyed them however, she would rather be out in the town chasing down the reports of petty vengeance that were sweeping through the town since the curse broke. Being part of the ruling council for this town wasn't her cup of tea, so here she stood next to the open entrance, supposedly guarding the door, but just trying to keep a low profile.

She was lost in her own thoughts and didn't notice the arm reaching towards her until she was half-way through the doorway. Emma opened her mouth to scream, but a hand clamped across her face as her attacker pulled her in close to his body. A familiar voice murmured in her ear, "well, well, you need to pay more attention to what's going on Sheriff Swan." Emma pulled herself free and turned. "Oh very funny Jefferson, what are you doing here?" She gave the hatter a disgruntled look, he shrugged. "I missed you, you left before I woke up this morning and I didn't get to do this." He stepped forward, cupped her face and kissed her deeply. Emma's last coherent thought was that she was missing the meeting, then she pulled him closer, backing up until she was against the wall. The impact made her bite his lip lightly and Jefferson moaned into Emma's mouth.

They were pressed together so closely that Emma could feel with buttons of his waistcoat pressing into her, Jefferson tried to get even closer sliding one leg between hers. He drank in the gasp that she gave him in response and left her lips to kiss his way to her ear. Teeth nibbled the spot behind her ear before his lips replaced them, sucking gently on her skin. Emma's legs threatened to give out and her eyes opened trying to find something to focus on other than the man overwhelming her senses. Dimly words flitted through her mind ...hall...kiss...council...lips...sheriff...parents... "Meeting!" Emma exclaimed and jerked, her head hitting the wall. Jefferson pulled his head back to look at her, a wolfish grin on his face. "Made you forget didn't I?" Emma glared at him, "don't be so cocky it's not attractive" he smirked and leaned in, breathing in her ear, "yes it is" and placed a kiss on her her cheek before backing away from her.

Emma watched him walk down the hallway still leaning against the wall, when he turned around and winked at her, "don't forget your meeting again love. I'll see you later." It was only after he pushed out of the doors that Emma stood up straight and snuck back into the council meeting, already trying to plan her payback.
