![]() Author has written 22 stories for Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Inuyasha, X-Men: The Movie, Harry Potter, Death Note, and Doctor Who. Hello and welcome to my little corner of the world! My main effort is to keep things running quickly. If I don't have a lot of a story written, I won't post it. But really, we'll see how that pans out! As of October 1, 2009... Well, I'm slowly getting caught up. The occasional Doctor Who fic has been posted, so I hope you'll check that out. My main focus, however, is going to be One Year. I have the entire story plan mapped out at this point, so all I have to do is write the chapters! I would love to catch myself up with it and finish at the end of the year, but we'll see if I can do so. Yay goals! Until I post again, happy reading! Personally speaking: My favorite anime/manga includes: Cowboy Bebop, Death Note, Trigun, Fushigi Yuugi, Mars, Kamekaze Kaito Jeanne, Inuyasha, Outlaw Star, Full Metal Alchemist, Yu Yu Hakusho, Sailor Moon, Chobits, certain arcs of DBZ, Gundam Wing, G Gundam, The Big O, and Digimon : ) My favorite quotes include: "When angels are thrown out of heaven, they become devils. Don't you agree, Spike?" Vicious (Cowboy Bebop) "I'm not going there to die, I'm going to find out if I'm really alive." Spike (Cowboy Bebop) "When did it become so natural...having Kagome by my side?" Inuyasha (Inuyasha) “It doesn’t seem to matter how far I travel, my destiny is always followed by blood and gun smoke. The result is always the same every time: mountains of death and debris.” Vash (Trigun) “We’re not God. Not only are our powers limited, but we sometimes are driven to become the devil himself.” Wolfwood (Trigun) “The scars you experience on your journey will be the unforgettable memories of your life.” Millie (Trigun) "L desu." L (Death Note) A Year of Suggested Reading(2007): I'm not conceited enough to believe I can impact anyone's decision on what to read, but I made this monthly suggestion because I believe there are truly awesome fics out there that simply need to be read and appreciated! You'll find most of my suggestions also on my favorites list, but I wanted to make certain that these are noticed! January: Left Eye, by bebop-aria. (Cowboy Bebop) An excellent fic about life for Spike pre-Bebop that really fills in the gaps from the images presented in the anime. It is a must read for anyone who considers his/herself a fans of the series. Does have an M rating, so be warned! February: Fairy Tales, by YamiPaladinofChaos. (Harry Potter) It's a oneshot, dealing with a final battle. Beware the twists! I chose this one because I like it so much, but I can also recommend pretty much anything Yami's written. It's all fantastic - check it out! March: Lie to Me, by Eowyn Organa. (Inuyasha) It's a simple story really - it deals very strongly with the Kik-Inu-Kag triangle. However, it does it cleverly and resolves it happily. It may seem as if it's a simple story, but it's so much more in depth than that...! April: The Good Doctor, by Amanda9. (X-Men) A good Rogan story, in which Jean thinks she has the upper hand and...well, you'll find out! A very well written oneshot! May: Shattered, by Sugar Pill. (Trigun) This is an absolutely amazing oneshot that takes the struggle between Vash and Knives to a whole different plane. If you're looking for a story with a completely unexpected twist, this is for you. And even if you're not, it's still a well written story that you'll enjoy. It is a bit on the dark side, be forewarned! June: Harry Potter movie parodies, by W.H. Woolhat. (Harry Potter) There are four of these up, all separately, so you'll probably need to look under the author's name to find them, but they're worth it, I promise you! If you enjoy Harry Potter and aren't afraid to not take it seriously, then these parodies are for you! July: The King's Mistress, by dolphingirl0113. (Inuyasha). You know how sometimes you just stumble across a story that is absolutely amazing? Well, this is definitely one of those! It takes the Inuyasha characters and puts them in a medieval setting. Maybe it sounds over done, but I promise you, this is nothing like you've ever read before! August: The Unwilling Punks of Shikon High, by YuriAnna. (Inuyasha). Ok. This is a parody. It is a parody of badly written Inuyasha fanfiction. This is well written and extremely hilarious. If you're in the mood to laugh, I can guarantee you will. If you're not in the mood, you should at least crack a smile at it! September: 100 Theme: Good things come in small packages, by MegTao. (Sailor Moon). I'll admit it, I am a sucker for fluff and romance at times. This is a theme, so it 100 chapters of 100 words revolving around Usagi and Mamoru, and really, MegTao's a genius. Read it all the way through, or one at a time, but savor how well it's written! October: It Was A Start, by carissima. (Veronica Mars). One of my all time favorite shows, and I was so sad when it was canceled. This takes place in the second season, the EPIC episode... and it contains one of my all time favorite ships, LoVe. A short, and very sweet oneshot that you'll read again and again. November: Connected, by rainbowishprincess. (Harry Potter). Takes place after Deathly Hallows, so spoiler alert for the few that haven't read it. I don't want to go into it too much, because I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but it deals with Fred and George. It's sad without being too sad, hopeful without too much sap and just very sweet. December: Sentimental Journey, by Agent Orange. (Cowboy Bebop). First of all, any fan of Cowboy Bebop must read all of Agent Orange's fiction. This is an absolute. That being said, this is a Christmas adventure for our Bebop crew, making it seasonally appropriate! Just imagine those four humans, plus Ein, trying to find the meaning of the Christmas season. Hilarious and serious, well written and true to Bebop form, this story (as every other Agent Orange fic) has got it all! Things I'm currently working on(Updated 10/07/09): One Year: X-Men, a sequel to To Hold You Close. A culmination of story lines, romantic interests, promised destruction and predictions over the course of a year. Does absence make the heart grow fonder, or does it make the heart forget? Status: Chapter 4 is up!! Chronicles of the Dead: Harry Potter, a oneshot series, of those who have gone on. If you listen quietly, you might hear what they have to say. I don't know if I'll put everyone who's died in, but I'll try to get most of them. Status: Chapter 13 is up! Love, Articulated: Doctor Who, a series of a hundred 100-word drabbles of Rose and Ten. Includes both the Doctor and the human Doctor. Tragedy was once overcome with youthful innocence and love. But being left behind isn't fair, leaving someone behind isn't fair, and being cast away isn't fair. Is the bond of love really all it's cracked up to be? Status: Installment 3 is up! A Drawerfull of Knives: Trigun, a Knives-centric drabble series created for Knives Day! All sorts of thoughts and ideas written about Millions Knives, my favorite Genocidal Plant. Updated on the 22nd of every month. Status: Installment 57 is up. Starcrossed: Inuyasha, the threads of time are mangled and two couples, a past and future intertwined, have an unhappy beginning. Now a young girl must face a difficult choice of potential death or a forbidden affair. Updated on Sundays, with 19 chapters total. Chapter 12 is up. (Looked to be worked on summer '07) Status: ON HIATUS. To Do List: Shades of Yellow: Inuyasha, the few days before the final battle with Naraku. Set at 13 chapters. It's partially outlined, and I really mean to get it on here eventually, promise! Fractured Fairy Tale: Veronica Mars, working title. My version of how the finale should have ended. It will be a oneshot and it's only outlined. Your Boy: Veronica Mars, Logan's thoughts after Parker dumps him and Veronica tells him he's outta her life in the season three finale. A oneshot that is only outlined. Wish for the Moon: Mars, my variation of the continuation of the series. Either a oneshot or no more than 2 chapters. Borderline: Harry Potter, A semi-strange idea, set after the defeat of Voldemort and the possible psychological repercussions some characters might have after said defeat. Maybe mulitchaptered with focus on Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione and maybe Draco/Hermione. Definitely would not be canon. An Ultimate High School Tale: Inuyasha, Not so much a parody as it is my attempt at the perfect high school story. Will most likely be plot hole free, hopefully cliche free, and allow the characters to stay in character. 'Cause I'm terrific like that! A Final Betrayal: Inuyasha, using the Shakespearian play Othello as a base. Taken down for some revamping...basically I didn't like what I had written, lol. Recently Completed(Updated 9/29/09): To Hold You Close: X-Men, set after X3. The Cure is not what is seems and Rogue faces her mutant life. Two lost souls find each other in the broken hours of night... Wolverine/Rogue. They're Watching You: Harry Potter, oneshot. “I don’t know,” Harry threw his hands up helplessly. “It just came over me all the sudden. Like, all these people are celebrating what’s going to happen, and they’re all waiting in line to witness it.” Harry paused. “And a lot of them are dressed like me,” he added. Sanity Forgotten: X-Men, threeshot. Another Rogan idea, taken from my THYC universe. What does she see in him anyways? Unwillingly Broken: Death Note, oneshot. "How often had he tried to prepare himself for this?" 5 Things Rose Tyler Didn't Really Want to Know About: Doctor Who, oneshot. Do they make us better for knowing about them? Fleeting Moments of Fairness: Doctor Who, oneshot. What's fair is all based on perspective. More to follow! |
