So, you want to know a little about me do you? Ok then, let's see what can I say. I got into FanFiction about a year and a half ago when I was searching online for the release date for HBP. I found fanfiction instead, and started reading it to pass the time till I could get my hands on Book 6. Well, needless to say, I read HBP the first day I got it and once I finished with it, I promptly took it out to the backyard, where I proceeded to bury the abomination in the hopes that I would forget all about it. Then I went back to reading FanFiction and I haven't stopped since.

I am a voracious reader, and like a fat man all alone with a box of doughnuts, I can't get enough. That said, I do have things that I prefer to read. Generally, I enjoy reading a self-reliant Harry, one who isn't led about by his nose through the whole story. Beyond that, I am open to most types of stories.

Deal breakers in Fics for me, are the following:

1. I like the fics that I read to be well written.

2. I rarely have a problem accepting new concepts in Fics. However, the author needs to convince me of it. (Don't just tell me that the Battleship that Harry made out old screen doors floats. If you don't take the time to explain it, I'm not buying it, or reading it.)

3. When I first started reading in the Fandom, my ship of choice was normally H/G. Now though, as a result of the large number of poorly written fics I have read with this ship, I have no stomach for it any longer, and rarely read it. Now, I tend to like the more unusual pairings. I feel that an author usually has to work a little harder to convince us, as readers, that these pairings are plausible.

4. Finally, I am a straight male, and as such I won't read Slash. However, I respect everyone's individual choice on this, so if you want to write it, knock yourself out. All I ask, is that you please put a SLASH disclaimer in your summaries, as that is not the type of surprise that I enjoy reading.

Well, I hope that gives you a little info about me. I am currently working on my first story, which was an itch that has needed to be scratched for a while now. I hope you read and enjoy it. I'll also welcome any feedback that you may have, as it will make me a better writer in the end.
