About me

Interests: I like reading, which is an extremely original hobby. Well obviously not- but I do actually read. I'm a big fan of Victorian books whether they be classics or penny dreadfuls. I also like to read books set in the 1800s such as Phillip Pullman's 'Sally Lockhart series' or Louis Bayard's 'Mr Timothy'. (Which is, in fact, sort of like a fanfiction of 'A Christmas Carol') Graphic novels are also a great love, almost anything by Alan Moore or Frank Miller will make me happy. I may one day have to thank Alan Moore for the 'League of Extraordinary Gentlemen' which is a victorian fangirl's dream come true. I would in fact marry him if I didn't already share his surname. Well maybe not... Werewolves are also an obsession of mine- I love werewolf films and books but because of that I've developed my own ideas on how werewolves should be and now am a bit of a purist. (The HP3 wolf was a great letdown...)

Fandoms: Van Helsing- It may not be the best film in existence but it has the best anthromorphic werewolves I've ever seen.

Doctor Who- David Tennant , actually had a werewolf episode set in Victorian times and TARDIS is a brilliant acronym.

Torchwood- Captain Jack Harkness AND a canon slash pairing... RTD I love you...

POTC- Most of my fics are from this fandom, though I have stopped being as active in it because of both the film series ending and the fact I fell out of it once (A long story, involving a very annoying internet connection) and am too much of a coward to crawl back in

LoEG (Or LXG)- Mr Hyde is one of my favourite characters of all time, due to his bestial nature and overall awesomeness. I RP in this fandom mostly, and find it small, but full of very friendly people.

I am well aware that anything I write about myself will give you the impression I am an immature idiot so I won't continue except for mentioning the fact that I loathe mary-sues but do understand it is very hard sometimes to avoid cliches. (See 'Rain just Hides Tears'- my very bad attempt at creating a good OC)
