1/28/07: I am currently unable to update. I have not REPEAT: HAVE NOT abandoned The Rebeldes. I am not able to update do to personal issues. There will be more eventually, just not for a while.

7/16/12: So, recently I uploaded the dreaded Author's Note chapter to The Rebeldes... but with a twist. I'm rewriting the story and taking it in a whole new direction. There is also a sneak peak of that new direction in the latest chapter. I hope you all enjoy! The new version is coming soon... ish.

8/12/12: Rebel now has the prologue and two chapters up! I'm really excited about this story, but I'm also really busy. So I'm not sure how often I'll be able to update, especially since the updates come almost the second that I finish writing them. Most of the story has been mapped out, so I know where it's going. Hopefully, that will speed up the writing process. Thank you so much for reading my work and taking the time to care!

9/10/12: Sorry I haven't updated in such a long time! Senior year has been keeping me pretty busy. Good news is, I feel like I'm getting my footing (except in science...), so I should have more writing time soon! Expect an update in the next week or so!

6/4/13: So I've been apologizing a lot lately. I've been really sick these past two months. But because of that and the end of senior year, I've been unable to really update lately. And, as much as I'd like to say otherwise, I'm not sure how much time I'll have to update this summer. First, I'll be heading off to LeakyCon 2013 in Portland (I'll probably attend the fanfiction meetup if that actually happens), and then I'll be spending the rest of the summer getting ready for college. I swear that I'm really trying to work on my story, but things have just been crazy. I can't promise when the next update will be, but I'll let you know when it will be as soon as I do.

12/7/13: It's been a while since I have updated Rebel. I know this. However, I am stressing over college right now (and an internship that just ended), and I simply have not been able to focus on my writing. I have to keep my grades up so that I don't lose my academic scholarship. Anything that I have tried to write in regards to Rebel has been awkwardly written and just not very good. I may have some time next semester to work on it (or even over break, I don't know), but I hope to continue the story soon. I cannot, however, promise you how soon that update will be. Thank you for your patience and continued support!

2/3/18: So, I've officially deleted The Rebeldes (mostly because it's, quite frankly, kind of embarrassing. I mean, y i k e s. I had some serious issues back then.). I'm keeping Rebel up now mostly because I still feel kind of attached to it? Sorry, darlings, but I don't think it's ever going to be finished. I started the first version of this story when I was, like, twelve, the second when I was seventeen. A lot has changed since then, and Rebel just isn't the kind of thing I write anymore. Maybe that will change (or maybe I'll end up feeling super nostalgic) and I'll be able to finish it, but I wouldn't hold my breath. I do promise, though, that I will not update it again unless I have the rest of the story written all the way to the end. No more false hope. Sorry, my loves.
