How could I not write a fic about this? :) Perachel could never be, so this is when Rachel lets go. Inspired by The Lost Hero. Thalia, a character who has so much hidden in her past was revealed just a little more in this new novel. This is the story of Thalia and Jason, and how Thalia watched her past fade. A long-ish, totally over-done, and extremely fluffy Percabeth (Holdiay/Future-fic) one-shot. :D This was meant for the holidays, but was posted a little late. None the less, I hope you enjoy it. Like the summary states- "Warning: Contains large doses of Percabeth. Please read at your own risk. May cause you to overdose as this contains far more than the recommended doses of Percabeth in a day." Newest to my collection of stories, you’ll find The Perfect Mistake. This fic is a collaboration project with Shadowplace (who is a really amazing author with some really great PJO fics out there). You'll definitely dive into a world of mysteries, twists, cliffhangers, and shocks as you enter this story. Important Note- Story is no longer co-authored with ShadowPalace. Informing Olympus of the Gift on Christmas: This is something small co-written by Miz636 and I. Just a little one-shot we got the idea for over Winter Break and decided to write out. It's posted on her account, so you can check it out there. Not our best work, but stay tuned. :) Regret and The Return of Calypso: Ahhh, 20 chapters and 69,176 words later; this story has finally been concluded. The main purpose of this story was to try and win Calypso some fans after realizing how many people hate her. I hope your opinion has changed about Calypso after reading this. Regret and the Return of Luke: The sequel for Regret and the Return of Calypso. You can find it here. 52,890 words and 17 chapters later, the story has finally come to an end. Not nearly as long as the first story, but just a little bit away. Similar to the first story, the purpose for this sequel was to get more people to like Luke and see things from his side. I hope your opinion on him has changed, if even just a little. Thanks to everyone who has read through these two stories and stayed with me over the course of two years as these stories were updated. A sequel for this story, making the "Regret" series a trilogy, is in consideration, but I'm sad to say that it's not likely. :/ If you have any suggestions for a plot line regarding a sequel, please PM me with your ideas. Suggestions and ideas will push me towards a sequel. Even if I do end up doing a sequel, I'm still hoping to start a new story as soon as the inspiration hits me and a proper plot idea lays out- so look out for that. _ Writer’s block! I haven’t found the inspiration to update this story. Looking back on it, it’s an overused plot. Hopefully, I’ll be able to find the inspiration to update it again sometime or go back and edit the spelling and grammar errors. This story started off as a very short, quickly written, OOC, and poorly written fic with one chapter posted. None the less, looking past it's flaws, I was shocked by the amount of feedback I got. I guess it wasn't too hard to look past it's written state and see the percabeth message underneath all of it. However, over the years the fic has been edited tremendously and is of a lot better quality. I hope you check it out. In addition to it not being updated for nearly three years due to a writer's block- it has finally been updated! This fic in particular means a lot to me since if started when I very first joined FF and has been updated after I've come so far. The support and dedication you all gave to this story really touches me. Thank you all so much. In the process of being edited. This story has successfully been completed. Looking back on it, I wish I could have done a lot better on it. The spelling and grammar is horrible, and it's all being edited. I know that many people are asking for a sequel, and the honest answer is that it’s in consideration. If you have any suggestions concerning a sequel for this story, please PM me. Also, I’d really appreciate if you took the time to PM me about you’re opinion on these four possible options below. Which one do you think if the best option for a sequel? (Option D is currently winning.) A) Annabeth loses her memory, and Percy uses the eight letters between them to remind her of their friendship/time together. B) Annabeth's parents (her father and step mom) saw the last 10 minutes of hugging and kissing and confront them. C) Percy and Annabeth reunite, after their school year, at camp and learn that the gods had intercepted the letters and were aware of them. D) Percy and Annabeth reunite, after their school year, at camp and struggle to keep their relationship a secret from the gods and their friends. All options are in consideration. Like I said- it would be greatly appreciated if you tell me what you'd like to see the most in the sequel. My True Feelings: Deleted. Horrible and my very first story ever. If anyone misses it, let me know. Christmas with a Kiss Under the Mistletoe: This was a sweet percabeth oneshot written by me and Laughing_like_Bells. If you ever wondered what would happen if Annabeth and Rachel were under the same roof with Percy and there was a mistletoe in the room, then I hope you scroll down and click on this story. It’s must read for percabeth lovers! Co-written with a bunch of great authors! A percabeth one-shot that’s famous for its IC-ness. Alright, so if the name didn’t already give it away; now would be a good time to tell you that I’m a huge Percabeth fan. :) What is Percabeth? Percabeth= The Percy and Annabeth shipping. Also, known as the shipping that’s winning by 80% as ‘the best pairing’ on the poll at the top of this profile. One of the best sites dedicated to percabeth The following two things are the only "Copy and Paste!" things you will find on my profile because of how true they are in my personal experience: If you repeatedly read page 203 in The Battle of the Labyrinth, copy and paste this in your profile. The Percy Jackson Pledge I promise to remember Percy whenever I'm at sea P.S: If anyone knows who the creator of the Percy Jackson pledge is, please let me know. They deserve much credit.
Thoughts on lukabeth? Don't hate on Luke! Annabeth didn't know better than to get attached to him at that age. Hasn't TLO given you peace? She loves him like a BROTHER. Sheesh, guys. Thoughts on Calypso? Don't hate on Calypso! She couldn't help but fall in love with her hero and she LET HIM GO. Spread peace throughout the PJO fandom! _ The Lightning Thief Movie: If you've seen the movie and want to discuss it, please PM me! I would love to talk about it! Or if you want to hear my thoughts on the movie in depth, please please feel free to PM. I have tons to say just about everything. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the movie too, so just drop by a message. Movie review (Friday, Feb 12th, 8:35 pm, right after returning home from seeing the movie) : I probably should let it sink in before writing a review because I'm totally stunned right now, but here's my reaction as of right now... SPOILER WARNING! I think the movie was perfect right up until the part where the minotaur attacks. After that, it was still amazing, but it had some parts that really killed me. The plot was- as expected- completely different form the books. The whole quest revolves around gathering three pearls, and to me it seemed like the whole movie was just split into three separate adventures. It didn't flow together... Although Grover was completely different, his character was still lovable and entertaining. Annabeth just wasn't Annabeth at all. She almost seemed like a side character to me. Her character wasn't developed at all, and absolutely no interaction/dialogue/gesture was shared between her and Luke. It was like they were complete strangers. Without Annabeth being Annabeth, percabeth just wasn't right. Also, I love the Percy/Poseidon father and son idea... the movie didn't do it justice. What was up with the "Gods are forbidden to see their children" rule? That was just a failed addition to the plot... On the only bright side... Percy and Annabeth did not kiss! (Well she almost kissed him, but I'm really happy she didn't because it would have totally messed up percabeth.) Luke (Jake Abel) was totally awesome! I loved him in the movie! I'm totally fan girl-ing here but I seriously can't decide who was hotter; Jake or Logan. The characters ages really didn't make any difference, I think. Percy was still himself. Sort of. Okay, I just realized that I've been being really critical about the movie so far. Over all, I have to say that it was pretty good. It didn't do the books any justice, but didn't ruin them either. The Lotus and Casino part was great, and so was Medusa's. Percy's relationship with his mom was perfect, and so was Gabe's character. I wasn't a big fan of the sword fights, but the water effects were epic. The Percy and Luke fight at the end was pretty good. Although it was completely different, I can't say it was completely disappointing. Movie Review: After watching the movie for a second time- Watching it the first time left me really confused... Although I initially liked it, after thinking it over a million times, I had to say that it wasn't all that great. Some parts just...sucked. But, after watching it for a second time I must say that if was SO much better. Although Annabeth or lukabeth wasn't developed, I still think they set it up in a way that's enough to continue the lukabeth plot in future sequels. Also, during the second time, Annabeth leaning into kiss Percy didn't seem nearly as long and torturing as it did the first time. And, I'm decided now- Logan was definitely hotter than Jake. So, basically, the second time the movie was a lot better. I don't think I could hate it either way because it was a PJO movie. My problem isn't all the change, because that was already expected so it's not that big of a deal. But, still- it could have been A LOT better at parts. The Sea of Monsters Movie:
But, lets stay positive! Gover, still entertaining! Mr. D was spot on! Chiron is still awesome! Tyson was cool! The water effects were pretty awesome! Percy trying to get his daddy's attention was awww. Annabeth's character, admittedly, sucks. Luke also isn't that great. Let's hope they do a better job with Thalia! P.S. Did anyone catch Annabeth say "there's Chris and Selena," on the ship? So, Selena is introduced as a traitor...great. Am I the only one that caught it? What'd you guys think? The PJO books: Interesting facts and mistakes I noticed: -In SOM Thalia appears in Percy’s dream with green eyes. In TC she notably has electric blue eyes. -In TC, Blackjack is notably addressed in a feminine form. In BOTL, Blackjack is male. -In SOM, Annabeth states that even she has never heard the entire Prophecy. In TLO, she states that she heard all of it when she was just 10 years old. -In TLT, the guard at the empire state building is reading a huge book with a wizard on it. It’s Harry Potter. :) -In TLO, the guard at the empire state building is reading, quote, a "big black book with a flower on the cover." Hmmm, could that be New Moon from the twilight series? -Between the books, Clarisse’s hair changes from brown to dirty blonde to brown again. -In TDF, Silena has black hair and brown eyes. In TLO, she has blue eyes and blonde hair. -Also, something that makes me think: If Percy’s mom got pregnant with him in the summer, how could his birthday be in august? More facts: Did you know Luke is 7 years older Annabeth? Also, did you catch the small quote where Percy clearly states that he loves Calypso? ("They send Calypso someone she couldn't help but love. But it worked both ways." My opinion on Thuke (The Thalia and Luke Shipping): I think Thuke is the deepest pairing in PJO. Some people love it just because it's interesting and also because throughout TC, it is hinted that Luke and Thalia had a romantic past. But here is some actual evidence of thuke to back us up: -In SOM, when Percy accuses Luke of poisoning Thalia's tree, Luke is defensive and never once refers to it as Thalia's tree, probably convincing himself that he wasn't hurting her but rather the borders of camp set by the gods. (On deeper thought, it can also be argued that Luke poisoned the tree fully knowingly that Percy would obtain the fleece and resurrect her.) -In TC, Percy compares Apollo's appearance to being exactly like Luke's- to which Thalia says 'Apollo is hot'. -Before betraying camp, Luke said "The gods will pay for Thalia's death." -Thalia said in TC "Luke never let me down,” and she told Percy that she didn't become a hunter because she would have to leave Luke behind. -When Thalia and Luke meet at Mt Tam Luke said. "Thalia, don't make me... don't make him, kill you". -He was hesitant, in getting her involved and tried to bring up memories saying "Don't you remember all those times we talked." After all this, in TLO Thalia completely neglects Luke which was kind of disappointing. She is not even at Luke’s death scene, and RR never mentions her reaction to Luke’ death. It was really disappointing, but I’ve concluded that RR meant to tell us that thuke was completely over after Thalia pledged to the hunters. My hyped opinion on TLO right after finishing it: Oh my gods! I have bought my copy of TLO (after waiting day and night for 147 days!) I seriously haven’t put the book down since I bought it. Funny story, actually- when I returned to the car after buying it, I screamed really loud(call it uncontainable happiness) and a person was sitting in the car next to us scrambled out and asked if I was okay. We had to apologize. That was…embarrassing. But, it didn’t affect how happy I was after getting TLO! I have officially finished reading TLO. It took me 4 days. Don’t get me wrong, it was so good that I could’ve finished it the night it cfame out, but I had to control myself and force myself to put down the book. If you have not been afble to get TLO, and want to know about it, feel free to PM and ask questions if you don’t mind spoilers. Anyways, here’s my opinion on the book (Spoiler’s ahead!) : It was amazing! In a strange way, it seems to stand out from the rest of the series. It has it’s own individual tone to it. (I’ve heard a few people say that the character’s seemed OOC in TLO, but, I don’t think they were too different.) I loved every sentence in TLO right up to the last words wrapping up Percy’s story! Some things were predictable…but that doesn’t change the fact that I loved reading it. The ending seemed a little big "too-happy" but then again, I wouldn’t have liked it any other way. And now to begin my rant about the percabeth! The percabeth was amazing! The whole book was packed with percabeth and the final resolution on page 373 had me tearing up. I wish there was more dialogue between Percy and Annabeth at the end (and maybe a little more percabeth from Annabeth's side) , but it was all just too cute for me to be complaining. The underwater kiss in an air bubble has been done repeatedly in many fanfics, but no one could compare it to the way RR wrote it out! I was always expecting Luke’s faith to be the way it was, but I couldn't help staring at the page when he died a hero. Thought, still I wish there was a little more dialogue and I wish he would have mentioned Thalia. Is anyone as upset as me that there was absolutely no thuke in TLO? Anyways, I loved the Hermes and Luke and Percy and Poseidon father-son conflict throughout the whole book. I love how everything worked out. Bekendorf and Silena has their own happy ending in a way. I’m glad Grover finally got his respect along with Clarisse. Also, I’m glad Rachel got a happy ending! In all, this book was amazing! It really stands away from the rest of the series. For some reason, I’d have to say that my favorite book has been the fourth one, but don’t get me wrong- TLO was amazing and comes in 2nd! I’d love to hear what you guys think about the 5th and last book! PM! I’ve heard somewhere that Percy and Annabeth along with 10 other characters form PJO are set to make reappearance in Rick’s new series! Can’t wait! Well, thanks so much for visiting my profile, and reading through my rants and opinions. Please don’t hesitate to PM me! I’ll see you around ! -percabeth777 |
