As for reading fanfictions, I like Harry Potter, Twilight, Titanic, and some Sarah Dessen mostly, although occasionally I do some other miscellaneous reading, depending on my mood. I am a canon shipper (minus Luna/Neville, who, according to JK Rowling, do not end up together, but I ship quite heartily) and mostly read James/Lily, Ron/Hermione, and Edward/Bella out of HP and Twilight. I cannot--absolutely CANNOT--understand Hermione/Draco or Hermione/Harry. It just DOES NOT make sense. I understand that Draco could be good, I'm all for Draco redeeming himself. But he would never, ever, ever, ever, be with a muggle born, no matter how good he's turned. Also, I think it's a bit insulting to assume that Hermione would forgive Draco for all the time he's called her Mudblood and all the other countless misdeeds he's commited. I've always felt she's smarter than that. And Hermione/Harry? What? That makes absolutely no sense.

I have no patience for Bella/Jacob pairings. I understand it, but don't like it. And Bella with Jasper/Carlisle/Emmett/Mike/Eric/Etc.? Just no. That's really all I have to say. Also, I'm not keen on people that bring characters back to life. I understand that it's devastating to lose Tonks and Fred and Lupin, but they are dead--the end. There are some instances that I can ignore it, if the plot isn't centered around it and you've got a good story otherwise. But mostly, no.

There are VERY few cases where I will change my views. Now, if you have a brilliant story, capture the characters nicely, and are an amazing writer, MAYBE, but otherwise, no. Of course, I'm not saying these stories are WRONG--they're not. These are just my likes and dislikes.
