Author has written 5 stories for Twilight. PLEASE READ: I realize it has been MONTHS since I've updated Someone to Watch Over Me and some of you are concerned. No, I have NOT abandoned this fic, and though it seems like it, it is NOT on hiatus. Things are still the same; I'm still trying to battle depression, find a job, and improve my life, but it's not working so well right now. It also doesn't help that my 92 yr old grandfather lives with us every other two months, which adds SO much more stress because of his condition. It was NEVER my intention to only update a few times a year. When I started this story, I had lofty goals of every few weeks, maybe once a month. I LONG to have the mindset that I could possibly achieve a regular posting schedule, but when I try, it comes across as forced and I do not want to post a chapter that isn't the quality I think my readers deserve. It is my own fault that I started writing without an outline, just a goal I wanted to get to, and now I am off track because things are happening in the story that I hadn't really anticipated and I need to adjust my thinking. I WILL finish this story and I never intend to abandon it. It might take time and I beg your patience with me while I get my life in order so I don't produce inferior writing. I have not forgotten any of you and I'm touched that I still get Story alerts almost daily. I feel so guilty that you are all waiting, wondering what the hell is going on, but know that I love every one of you for sticking with me. Thank you so much for your continued support. :) (It's also been brought to my attention that the link to my blog wasn't working. I think I've fixed it, and I encourage you to check it out, as I will post teasers and updates on what's taking so long or what's up in my life so you can stay in the know.) I'm 28, live in Ohio (hate it). I graduated college (FINALLY) in December '09, and I'm looking for a music education job somewhere. Music is my life and knitting comes second. I have an unhealthy addiction to yarn. I also love nifty pens and pretty journals but have never filled one completely with words. I have a cat who I have a love/hate relationship with, and a dog that I adore (she's a blue-eyed Siberian Husky). :) Eclipse was my favorite book out of the Twilight series. I have a fondness for Emmett because he seems he'd be fun to hang out with. I like KStew, but not as Bella. Sorry, she just doesn't cut it for me. The Vampire Diaries (the books) actually started my love of vampires, and Damon Salvatore was the vamp of my dreams when I was in high school. I've only read the first four books and refuse to read the new ones because I don't want my perception of the stories to change. Ignorance is bliss, kids. I love to write, but have a hard time translating what's in my head properly to print, so it takes a while to finish a scene/chapter. If you don't like what I write, then don't read it. It's fanfic, not New York Times Bestseller material. Don't start shit over it, just move along to something else. Same goes for anything you read. You're not being forced to read it, so don't bitch like you are. Move along and find what suits you. Keep the bitching to yourself. I love feedback, but don't leave reviews telling me I suck, the story sucks, etc. Leave something constructive. We can always grow as people and I'm all about learning new things. Learning that you're an asshole because you leave asshole reviews isn't something new to learn. I know you're out there, I don't need confirmation. My taste in music is widely eclectic, so if you have any song recommendations you think would help me write or just motivates you in life, I'm so open for suggestions. I love new music and usually find it through playlists and reccs, so PMs are welcome. Any fanfic suggestions are welcome too. :) I like stories that make me laugh. My life is sad enough, I don't need to read angst to make it worse. Congratulations to TabithaAbraham, who won me in the April 2010 Support Stacie Auction! Someone to Watch Over Me has a thread on Twilighted! Come play, and maybe you'll get a teaser or something. No promises though. ;) The '69 Mustang Shelby GT500 in Bonafide Rarity, Chapter 1. Yarn mentioned in AN of chapter 9 from Someone to Watch Over Me: Stronger and Purple/Green I have a blog! The plan is to keep everyone updated with my fics, maybe a bit of my life so you know what's up, and TEASERS WHEN I CAN! WOO! CHECK IT OUT!
