John is a reluctant participant, but ends up learning that being a good sport comes with its own rewards. Total crack story! Most of the downstairs characters (and Branson too!) make an appearance in this hopefully amusing one-shot.

Def. AU for the most part. Maria is hired as the English Tutor the summer before the Anchluss. In my story she is a widowed mother to two children. I'm trying to keep the story the same yet adding a little more spunk to her character.

Anna has always been the strong one, supporting John with unwavering faith. Once Anna begins to lose faith after suffering a miscarriage, will John be able to pick up the pieces? Post Series 3
