Giving up doesn't always mean you're weak. Sometimes it just means you're strong enough to let go.

This girl is currently 19 years old and 5'11", she's blonde with blue eyes, and she looks like the stereotypical teenage girl, except she's emo. Yep, that's it. Emo. She is also Norwegian, and therefore, she has a name that is impossible to pronounce, and she'd appreciate it if people would refer to her as Candy or Mello. Also, if the third-person thing is confusing you, she'll pop in her favourite quote from an Emilie Autumn song: She speaks in a third person, so she can forget that she's me.

Just so you're warned, I'm going to give you the short version of the story of my life. I'm depressed as hell. I was bullied for ten years, no one even fucking noticed, and I was too scared to tell anyone. Because I didn't think I mattered. I didn't think I was worth anything. I still rarely do. I was suicidal for five years. I cut for seven. The only reason I didn't kill myself is that I didn't want to cause any trouble for the people who would have to sort out things after my death. Throw out my things and plan a funeral. I wasn't worth enough for anyone to go through all that trouble because of me.

And I think this is important to tell you because whatever I write, it somehow ends up being about depression and mental issues. So now you know why.

That said, I suppose I should tell you that I'm better now. I'm seeing a therapist twice a week, and I have a whole of two friends. And three cats. They've helped a lot.
