Author has written 52 stories for Harry Potter, and StarTrek: The Next Generation. The Keeper here to say hello to all my friends. Well, my wonderful sister-in-law, bless her heart, was upset because I took my life story out of my profile. So in response, I will put in a condensed version. I retired from the US Air Force in 1989 after 20 years. I spent 1 year in Viet Nam, 18 months in Turkey, and 2 years in Guam. the rest of the time was spent mostly in So. Dak, and New Hampshire. I married while in the service, and though she didn't believe me, I loved my wife very much. Unfortunately, it didn't work out. However, we did raise four wonderful children, three boys and a girl. They are all grown up now, and raising their own family, except for my youngest. I fell in love with the Harry Potter series about six years ago, and the books were not enough. I bought my first computer four years ago, and while on line, I found several sites that posted Harry Potter fanfiction. I tried them all at first, but have dropped down to just two sites. I started writing two years ago, and have been moving right along. I have 23 completed stories, three working stories and one that I quit writing on. I promised never to do that, but failed to keep that promise. The story did not draw any interest, so there you have it. I have worked with two other authors with stories, and it worked out alright, but it didn't leave me any time for my stories. Well, that's it. Like I said Boring. As always, Ollie the Keeper of the Quill. (12-20-2011) As of 12-20-2011, I believe that's it. The Keeper. 3-1-13 I guess it is time to let everyone know that Bad Love will probably be my last story. I am sorry to say that at my age, and the way that people I know and love are passing on gets me to thinking that my time left on earth is closing fast. I do not wish to start a story and have to leave it due to my health. My writing has a mix of pros and cons, but for the most part my followers like my writing. My spelling and grammar left a lot to be desired. If not for Teach, it would have been a lot worse. My start is due in whole to Corrina, who put up with my stupid and somewhat childish knowledge of computers. The patience she showed was Herculean. Thank you so much Corrina. My best fans and friends are some I will never forget. Diane, Mae, Young one, Alan, Stephanie, you all have given me the will to continue. For this I will always, thank you. MAX, we haven't always seen eye to eye, but you have always been there for me. Luiz, you were always the laugh I needed to get me through a story. In the beginning I needed a lot of help, and my best bet was Duke Bryman. Duke I know you didn't think much of my writing, but I can't thank you enough for the help you provided. Finally, the sweetest young girl on the net was Fredoholic. We shared some great stories together. If I left anyone out, I'm sorry. It is not my intention to hurt any one of my beloved friends. Bear with me on Bad Love. I will finish it eventually, it is just taking longer for me to figure out where I am going next. I believe that is all I have for now. May God Bless all of you. Keeperoliver or if you prefer, Ollie the Keeper. 03-11-15: It's time for an update. Much has been completed since I last updated. I am working on my fortieth story and it is coming along well. Not well accepted, but fun to write. It's titled {Merlin} and it is turning out to be a long one and I still don't see end in sight. I had an operation back in May 0f 2014 and it really did take a lot of my problems away. I feel great and so far no flare ups with my M/S. I don't know how much longer I will be writing, but you have all heard this before from me. I go as long as I feel I'm not stinking it up too much. For all of you that haven't left me, I thank you so much. For those of you that have, I miss you all very much. As always, Ollie the Keeper. |
