![]() Author has written 6 stories for Shugo Chara!, and Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Update: 8/3/14 It's been a seriously long time since I've been here last, but I'm alive. I'm so sorry for being gone so long. Unfortunately, I probably won't be continuing my Shugo Chara fic, just because my fandom flame has faded over the years. Maybe it'll flare again in a couple years, so I'll just leave them up there for now... Another thing! There's going to be a lot of changes around here. I've got some fic ideas, but considering the current pace of my work, it'll take some time to write and post it all. I do plan to continue my PJ fic, but it's going to take some time to refresh myself and write up some fresh chapters. That'll be a while, though. I also promise to be better at responding to reviewers from this point on. It's been a while, but I'm going to start remodeling and posting more (hopefully a little bit more frequently). So I guess to summarize, everything on my profile and my stories are in for some serious reconstruction, and that's going to take some time. I really hope I'll get into gear before school starts, and that I'll have enough momentum to update throughout the course of the year. Thank you so much for your patience and for listening! -Shellie 8/4/15 GAH! It's been a year and no update! I'm so sorry T.T. However it is on my mind. I truly need to sit down and just write write write. I have no guarantee when I'll write next but I assure you my fic isn't forgotten, so currently my writing status is on hiatus. About myself: Call me Shellie. I don't mind if you call me When There's Nothing Left either. Though I've been on for a while, I have yet to complete a fic (I'm working on it). In the past year, I've read a lot of cartoon fic and the occasional anime one. I apologize for the EXTREME delays that I've had in the past, but I hope to work harder and get into a rhythm of writing and posting more often. Shellie's OTPs I love my OTPs, guys! Maybe just a little obsessed with some of them. I just want to talk about them all the time. Are they still able to be called OTPs if I have more than one? Oh well. I'm very protective of them, and there are certain ones that I refuse to deviate from. I turn into a monster if anything gets in the way of them. I won't tell you what they are, but maybe you can tell by the way I rave about them. The ones here are the ones I love reading about in fanfiction in no particular order. Here are some of my thoughts about each one. 3/4 (Codename: Kids Next Door): Gah! I love them. I always did, even as a kid watching them. I can only think of one word when I think about them: adorable. They're so different that they compliment each other perfectly. In my head, I imagine them to change their dynamics as they grow older because somewhere along the road Wally got into Harvard and Kuki became very professional (Operation I.N.T.E.R.V.I.E.W.S), but there's probably some spark of their childhood in there. Ugh. They're so cute. I don't even know how to describe them well. I also love 2/5 and 1/362. Zoey/Mike (Total Drama: RotI): I'm still a little new to the Total Drama fanbase. I don't know how popular Zoey and Mike are, but I personally love both of their characters. There's a lot to work with for the both of them: they both have insecurities and want to have the confidence to make friends and build relationships. All Stars might not have been my favorite season for a lot of reasons (partially related to various characters' development), but I loved the scenes between Zoey and Mike, and Mal opens up a totally new angle to Mike as a character. Has anyone ever written a Commando Zoey and Mal fic? I'd love to read it. That would an interesting clash of personalities. Maybe I should write one on my own... Percy/Annabeth(Percy Jackson): Percabeth! One of my top 5 Book OTPs. I love Percy as a character, and Annabeth is kind of like his puzzle piece. They fit each other in a way. They're stronger together. Percy and Annabeth are probably one of my very few unchangeable pairings. I refuse to accept them with anyone else. I don't really know why I feel so strongly about specifically Percabeth, maybe I just have been away from the books for too long. One reason is that I think that they've gone through too much together to not end up together at the end of the story, but that's only one reason. I personally like Percy Jackson much more than the Heroes of Olympus, simply because I love hearing Percy's voice in first person. I should probably reread them. Ron/Hermione (Harry Potter): Though I haven't read fanfiction for Harry Potter, I know this one isn't the most popular pairing on . I just love them for their care for each other even though they're so different. Though I understand the viewpoint for Harry/Hermione fans, I personally love Ron/Hermione more because I love how Ron grows as the series progresses, and how Ron and Hermione are able to smooth out each others' flaws through each other. Brick/Blossom (PowerPuff Girls): This is also a recent discovery. Actually, it was more like last year. I don't know what attracted me to the Reds (Buttercup was my favorite PPG growing up), but I love the fic for them. Maybe it's the leader v. leader rivalry relationship they have. I mean, RRB/PPG aren't really canon as a pairing, but I love reading about them. And I think when it comes to writing fic about older versions of kids, there's a lot of directions for the characters to go in, and that's why I love reading the different fic for PPG, and Codename: KND for that matter. Drew/May (Pokemon): There must be something about rivalries I really like. I love this pairing because of their rivalry, and their willingness to help each other in the midst of competing against each other. I also love this pairing with Pokeshipping and Ikarishipping. I haven't read one of these in a while. Prussia/Hungary (Hetalia: Axis Powers): PruHun! It's not the most popular in the Hetalia fanbase, either, but it's not non-existent. I fell in love with this pairing after the episode about Austria's "vital regions" haha! He brings out the masculine side of her that she tried to get rid of, and she beats the crap out of him. I love it. It can be humorous and bittersweet. There's a lot of different ways their relationship can go, and I love it. Beast Boy/Raven (Teen Titans): I love BBRae. This was also something that happened in the past year. I actually was a fan of RobRae growing up, but now I'm a serious BBRae shipper. They're each other's foil. Sort of total opposites, but they bring out the best in each other (is there some sort of pattern in my OTP list?). I love how their bond grows as the series progresses. I love the fic I've read for this pairing, too. They're are some of my favorites. Phineas/Isabella (Phineas and Ferb): I actually started loving this a couple months ago. I used to just watch it on TV but lately I've been exploring the fan fiction for them. They are so sweet. I just love how Phineas is so oblivious, but I think that he does like her. He just hasn't really thought about it very much. Isabella is such a sweetheart, and she never gives up on her dreams to be with Phineas. Aw. Loved the episode "Act Your Age". GAH. Phinabella Hitsugaya/Hinamori (Bleach): I actually love a ton of pairings in Bleach, but I just put up my favorite. I actually don't know why HitsuHina is my number 1. Momo isn't a very important or powerful character, but I like how they were childhood friends. I think that there's something about Momo that reels Toshiro back in. I don't know. Some argue it's like siblings, but I feel like their relationship is filled with awkward tension and maybe nostalgia? I'm not sure, I might have to go back and reread it. The names they call each other and the way he freaks out when he stabs her. Oh man, it's great. But then again, there are a lot of other Bleach pairings that don't fall far behind this one (IchiRuki, Yoruichi/Urahara, UlquiHime, Uryuu/Orihime, Shinji/Hiyori, Kensei/Mashiro... the list goes on). Rima/Nagihiko (Shugo Chara!): Though not set in stone in the canon, I love them. I love their dynamic because they share a lot of similarities that they butt heads. They are also both really great characters, and I love how both of their Shugo Chara contrast/compliment their personalities. It says a lot about their characters. This was one of the first OTPs I ever had. I followed Shugo Chara while it was still ongoing, and these two mark my first non-canon ship (but I guess it's sort of canon... does it still count?) and also my first intense fangirl moment. Natsu/Lucy (Fairy Tail): Honestly, my first OTP from Fairy Tail was Jerza, but when I re-read it and watched the anime all the way through I found that I love NaLu a ridiculous amount. They're the cutest. I love their dynamic and how they shape each other's character throughout the series. Mashima loves to tease with the semi-canon-ness of pairings. I also really like Jerza and Gajevy, and Gruvia (which I was a little reluctant with at first, but I've been hooked since Eclipse and Tartaros). |
