I'm Alexa, and I love to write. I'm also a big classic TV fan and I'm kind of obsessed. I started watching Beverly Hills, 90210 through reruns as a teenager and fell in love with Dylan and Brenda's relationship - the intensity and the dedication they had to each other was moving, more than pretty much any TV couple.

As many BH90210 fans and Brenda/Dylan fans did, though, I grew disheartened with the show in Season 3 and Season 4. There were some storylines that I loved, but the writers really marginalized Brenda and her emotions when Dylan chose Kelly over Brenda and when the whole crew pretty much shunned Brenda in Season 4. I also hated how the spinoff insulted their characters. Really? They're still fighting over the same guy and Kelly has his child? Ugh. That's why I wanted to do my take on Season 3 with my own added twists - which is what "Wildfire" is.

In addition to being a massive B/D fan, I thought that Brandon and Kelly were really nice together in a way that Dylan and Kelly never were. I'm hoping, through this, to honor their relationship as well. I love the O8, though I pay less attention to Steve, Donna and David in Wildfire. I plan to write more fanfics in the future, so stick with me.
