Hey everyone!

I am in my late teens.

I’ve taken to writing fan fiction because I enjoy writing.

I’m too private of a person to blog, hence I write stories. And, many of my personal experiences tend to get manifested in them.

If you’ve read my stories, you’ll have noticed that all of them are Sonny with a Chance fics. So, why Sonny with a Chance? It’s simply because I am obsessed with the show of late. The chemistry between Demi and Sterling is just sizzling! And, this is one category where all the genres (especially comedy, drama, romance and friendship) can be done without making the character behaviors seem unnatural.

I’m all about freedom. I do what I want to at my own pace and when I want to. I do not like conforming to conventional institutions. But I do have a set of moral values below which I will never sink.

I do not aspire to become a published author. However, if an idea that is simply too good to be left uncooked strikes, I may resort to writing a book. But somehow, I do not see that happening.

Now about my other interests-

I grew up with Harry, Ron and Hermione. I absolutely loved and still love the Harry Potter series and I’ll never be too old for it. The books are majestic.

Short stories by Leo Tolstoy, Sherlock Holmes adventures are the other books I enjoyed reading.

I love the detail and depth of the characters in Mahabharata. The arguments about righteousness, duty and morals are enlightening and can be viewed in a very contemporary perspective.

The Diary of Anne Frank, read when I was Anne’s age, exposed such an appalling level of dehumanization that I hadn’t known could possibly exist prior.

Sudha Murthy’s Wise & Otherwise, The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho are also among my favorites.

Robin Cook, Jeffrey Archer, Chetan Bhagat, Sidney Sheldon, Dan Brown are the authors whose books I’ve read and enjoyed. They make good time pass material.

I have a very weird habit of not paying attention to anything else when I am listening to music. I am not very picky about it (nor am I up-to-date).But Taylor Swift is by far my most favorite artist.

Sports and me are universes apart..

I enjoy solitude as much as I enjoy the company of a few close friends. I am not much of a social person and tend to prefer quietness over chaos.

I can be obsessed with something or the other for days on end…it could be anything ranging from a TV show to a concept in physics to a blog to a new language. When I am in such a state, a lot of people around me feel the heat and it does drive them a wee bit up the walls;)

People who know me would consider me to be a happy-go-lucky girl. And yeah, more often than not, I live in far-away lands of fantasies.
