Author has written 9 stories for Phineas and Ferb, iCarly, Avatar: Last Airbender, Codename: Kids Next Door, Tangled, and Rise of the Guardians. Hey there everybody (: Rather than going on an on about myself, I'll just do a quick introduction and get right to the good stuff. My name is ZuEra, and I'm a writer, artist, musician and professional geek. I hope that you find my profile useful for navigating my stories! Stories: The Dangers of Maturity - A prequel to the angst-filled tale The Dangers of a Bully, this story dives into the slow decent of teenager Ferb Fletcher into darkness and depression. While life was once cheerful, things change as one grows, and Ferb soon realizes all of the things that are wrong with him and his life - with a great deal of help from his mysterious and faceless new "friend" known only as "Bully". This was the first story that I ever published on this site, and while I'm willing to admit that the writing isn't as fantastic as it should be, I'm proud of the emotional challenges encountered and the deep, searing pain conveyed. iCan't Say it to Your Face - Sam and Freddie have thoughts and feelings that are deeper than they're willing to say aloud. How do they deal with this? They write it all down - and share it with each other! Underneath the hatred and chaos that the rest of the world sees are secrets of fear and heartbreak, and the gradually developing friendship of the two misfits as they bond over their own emotions. I most certainly wouldn't call this my best work, but it was an experimentation - something I used to free my mind of the limits that I had put on it, and for that I am proud. Of Earth and Sky - A realistic take on the building of Republic City, focused on Toph Bei Fong - still sassy as ever - and the spirited, would-be airbender, Teo. Teo is entranced by Toph's bold personality and determined spirit, while Toph can't stand to even be around him. Duty calls, though, so she's willing to endure it, and she learns, even, to endure - and possibly even enjoy - Teo himself. This story... I love this story, but I don't know that I'll ever complete it. I have the basic idea for what will happen, but no motivation to write it. It's truly a shame, because I love this pairing, and I love telling how they could realistically happen (as they're generally thought of as a crack pairing). Death of Me - Toph is in love with Sokka - she always has been, and she fears with all of her heart that she always will be. She knows that she hasn't the slightest chance with him, and yet she keeps putting herself through the pain of loving him. The more she loves him, the more sure she is that he'll be the death of her. This was an impulse fic that I wrote for the fans on a Facebook page that I admin. Somehow it just clicked with me and turned out in a way that I, personally, loved. There's nothing better than angsty romance. The Amateur - Members of the metal band, Bad Rep, had always been burdened with a rocky relationship, but no one expected that they would lose a member. After making acquaintances with drummer, Toph Bei Fong, Sokka, a big fan with killer guitar skills, finds himself thrust into the spotlight. What he's most excited about, though, is the fact that he's falling for the famous drummer - and she seems to be falling right back. Ah, this is truly a drama. One of my favorite things about this story is that it focuses not only on the romance of Toph and Sokka, but also on the brokenness of friendships between the band members, and their former band member. Unfortunately, this story has also fallen through the cracks, and I don't know when I'll be updating. After All That, It's Come to This - Based off of a picture byAylaOfZeladonii, this is the post-war story of Zuko and Katara as they think back on what could have been, and what cannot be. I swear I'm not trying to toot my own horn here, but this story is beautiful. It was a wave of emotion writing it. Hold On - Even after all of these years, Kuki and Wally are the same, bickering best friends that they always were, and yet, Kuki can't help but feel that something's different. She knows that she has a problem with holding on to the past, but can she let go long enough to see the present? Only an average day of videogames, movies and arguments will tell. It was three in the morning when I wrote this story, but I just couldn't get these two out of my head! They're so adorable, and I was fascinated by the thought of what they might be like as teenagers. As for my story covers, most of them belong to artists on DeviantArt, to which I will now give credit for: Hold On cover: Tinysoder on DeviantArt The Amateur cover: Daugterofthestars on DeviantArt After All That, It's Come to This cover: AylaOfZeldonii on DeviantArt Any other stories either have covers made by myself, or do not have covers at all XD A little note about myself: I love criticism, good or bad. You'll see me say this on all of my stories, just because I love to hear from you guys! I love to know how my writing could be improved, and I love to know what I did right as well (: It's very satisfying as a writer to know that someone cares enough to tell me what the think. Thanks for your time! xoxo ZuEra |
