Author has written 6 stories for Sookie Stackhouse/Southern Vampire Mysteries, and Divergent Trilogy. Just a warning, I am an Aussie girl. My writing can sometimes reflect that :P The Southern Vampire Mysteries is my guilty pleasure although other books I enjoy are Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake Series and Merry Gentry Series, Cassandra Clare's The Mortal Instruments, Richelle Mead's Georgina Kincaid Series and Veronica Roth's Divergent Triology. As for television; True Blood, Supernatural, Game of Thrones, Arrow and Shameless. I realise I haven't said any mention of Harry Potter. That's pretty sexy stuff too. And Marvel movies. Although I can't watch Captain America without falling asleep. After reading many stories I have decided to take a shot at writing. Reviews are appreciated whether its just making a comment, advice or your predictions for what is next to come. I'm actually quite an unexperienced writer, until I started publishing fanfic here I had never really written anything except analytical and arguementive essays. In the Southern Vampire Mysteries Series my favorite characters would be Sookie, Eric and Hunter. Theres something about Sam and Jason too that I love. I feel like Sam gets left out a bit sometimes so I'm hoping to try include him a bit, but as I write, I see how he never gets a huge mention in fanfic's and even Charlaine's books. Even as one of Sookie Stackhouse's best friends and a shifter, sometimes he just doesn't fit in with the plot. Dead Man's Shoes- My first fanfic: Chapter 1-4 of dead man's shoes took me about 2-3 hours to write on night. I was sick (for once) and I thought there was no better time to get started since when your sick you don't really do much. I had a basic idea and the first several chapters just spewed out. I never knew what was going to happen in this story after my first chapter. I came up with a rough outline of chapter 1 one night as I was trying to drift off to sleep. Every chapter afterwards just got made up as I went along. Some chapters later (about 10 in), I worked out how I wanted my end, and then I was off. This was longer than I ever anticipated but it's been great fun to write as my first fanfic attempt ever and I had very little experience in any creative writing beforehand so it's been a fun challenge. I seriously mean that, I did it when I had to in Primary school, got told I sucked (not in those words exactly- I would have been ten or something), and that was that.
