Author has written 6 stories for Harry Potter, Monster High, Once Upon a Time, and Girl Meets World. Someone in their late twenties as well as a writer, an artist, and an astrologer. A pescatarian. Least Favourite Tropes - Liar Revealed - the lie's either insignificant and forgivable, or this trope is used to add needless conflict. That is the only scene I hated in Ever After and Chicken Run.
- Manic Pixie Dream Girl - why is it always the girl's role to liven up the boy's life. I loved Clementine from Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind when near the end that she's not a concept, she's not there to fix men, she's just a "fucked up girl looking for her own peace of mind."
- Draco in Leather Pants - overall this is a love redeems trope but poorly done you have a power imbalance couple. The savior - fanon Hermione - or the broken bird - fanon Draco - can use their situation to manipulate the other into staying. "If you really loved me, you'd appreciate my sacrifices." "If you loved me, you'd help me recover."
- Ron the Death Eater - a writer may have a favourite ship but demonizing a morally good character isn't the way to pair your couple together.
- The Bully Best Friend - unless the transient nature of friendship is the main point of the story, I don't want to question why these two are best friends. Nor should I be rooting for them to end their friendship because of how toxic it is.
- Rape Fics - unless a writer knows what they're doing, a rape scene will ground your story to a halt. There needs to be a reason a rape occurred besides the fact that it adds instant drama.
- Suicide Fics - same as above. The only way I can deal with suicide fics is if it is a thwarted suicide fic. For example, a character sees another character attempting to overdose and the former character convinces them not to. The former character isn't becoming the latter's reason to live, they're giving the other another option. In many ways it is much easier to discuss the seriousness of suicide by not showing it. (There's a reason why I will never read or watch 13 Reasons Why and it's not just because it's a revenge plot.) Saying, "I'd miss you if you died" can be much more impactful than showing the aftermath of a suicide.
- Porn without plot fics - if there's a sex scene, there has to be a story to go with it.
Favourite Fanfic Types - Hurt-Comfort fics - I like seeing the human bonding and compassion in these stories.
- Death fics - This may seem contradictory because I previous stated that I hate suicide fics, but I love death fics. When done poorly, it's nothing but angst or at worst a hate/troll fic; at best you get to tackle the complexity of human mortality. You get to explore how one person's life affected so many other people. There's a certain finality of death fics that you don't have with other ending fics. (I like seeing reincarnation stories but I also like seeing the end of the cycle.) Ultimately, death fics are just amazing. In fact, my favourite Youtube bloggers is Ask A Mortician, The Grave Woman, and Little Miss Funeral. And I love Death Metal as well. Death fics shouldn't be a surprise.
- Coffee Au - As a coffee and cafe lover, I like seeing this in fiction (even if the beverage of choice is actually tea.)
- Parallel Universe Au - It's interesting seeing how a scenario could have gone in a different direction.
- Romance fics - I like the idea of happily ever afters and seeing how to lovers can complement each other.
- Platonic Friendship/General fics - In summary, friendships are just as important as romances.
- Mystery/Suspense fics - I love trying to figure out the answer to the story. The first murder mystery book I read was Agatha Christie's book And Then There Were None.
- Slice of Life fics - There can be intrigue in the mundane and I love stories that capture that.
- Erotica fics - There are lemon fics that I like. The ones I do encapsulate the physical intimacy and have a purpose, mainly the develop the characters and their relationship with each other.
- Superhero Au - I love comics, I am a comic book nerd and am working on my own. If you write a story where one of the characters is a superhero, I will at the very least check it out.

Quotes “What an astonishing thing a book is. It's a flat object made from a tree with flexible parts on which are imprinted lots of funny dark squiggles. But one glance at it and you're inside the mind of another person, maybe somebody dead for thousands of years. Across the millennia, an author is speaking clearly and silently inside your head, directly to you. Writing is perhaps the greatest of human inventions, binding together people who never knew each other, citizens of distant epochs. Books break the shackles of time. A book is proof that humans are capable of working magic." -- Carl Sagan "Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame." -- Song of Songs "At the moment I was alive with blood coursing through my veins, flowing above the putrefaction below, many potential tomorrows in mind [...] Whether my mortality caught me at twenty-eight or ninety-three, I made the choice to die content, slipped into nothingness, my atoms becoming the very fog that cloaked the trees. The silence of death, of the cemetery, was no punishment, but a reward for a life well lived." -- Caitlin Doughty (Ask a Mortician) "Beneath the painting was soil, dark dry soil almost as flyaway as the dust of the room. Simon ran his fingers through it and sighed. This was his sleep; the soil of his homeland. The earth he would have rested in for eternity, if he had truly died, still had the power to bestow a little of that peace. It was a taste of that death, perhaps. It restored him. Without it he would waste away to nothing and become a shriveled thing, unable to move, unable to feed, but unable to die. An undead hell. He raised the painting to his lips and kissed it softly, then replaced it in the suitcase, closed the case, and flicked the latches shut." -- The Silver Kiss, Annette Curtis Klause
