Once upon a time, I didn't understand why anyone would want to either create their own stories with someone else's characters, or read stories that were not part of the actual thing.

Then I fell in love with Veronica Mars. I inhaled all three seasons faster than I care to publicly admit. The obsession grew its own limbs and before I knew it I was looking for something beyond just rewatching episodes over and over.

Thus, I found all of you lovely people. I discovered that people are writing good fanfiction. It's not all the horrors of spelling errors and fantasies that don't resemble the original in tone or purpose. It opened up a new world for me, and eventually I decided to try my own.

So thanks, all you other VM fic authors. Or maybe I should curse you for sucking up so much of my time.

I'm a recovering attorney, a hopeful author, an english teacher, and about to take a stab at making a living writing anything anyone will let me write. I live for good serial television drama and captivating young adult fiction. Disclaimer: I haven't been a "young adult" for quite some time. I make no apologies for inhabiting that space anyhow.

ALL of my works are still "in progress." I have abandoned NOTHING. Unfortunately, the realities of life make it tough to spend time on things that are purely joyful and do not provide income.

If you like my stuff, all I ask is that you have faith. I promise you, in my head none of these stories are gone. If anyone can figure out a way for me to NOT work a full-time gig that takes up 60 hours/week AND three separate part time gigs to pay my bills, I'm all ears.
