 Author has written 34 stories for Lord of the Rings, Stargate: SG-1, Pirates of the Caribbean, Stargate: Atlantis, Star Trek: 2009, Musketeers, Salvation, and Avengers. So, an update, after how many years? I am still writing, thinking about fanfic, but not nearly as often. I earned my MA a few years ago and am working on a Ph.D. now, which takes up most of my time. I haven't completely forgotten about the LOTR stories, but I've run into a bit of a problem: my writing has changed much since I last worked on this series. I've reread what I wrote and I'm puzzled about how I even got anyone to read, let alone leave a positive review. I do have plans to re-vist these stories, but for me to be happy with them, I would need to completely re-write them, all the way down to the plot. It's a massive project as I'm going into my doctoral exams and soon dissertation. There are some options I've been weighing however, because I do enjoy fanfiction and I don't want to forget where I got my start with writing. Either I will write the stories completely and post edited chapters or write the stories as a series of drabbles.
