![]() Author has written 7 stories for Cars, and Star Wars. Let's see, what can I say about myself? Well, I love to travel, eat chocolate, sleep, hang out with my friends, read and write, and watch movies. Oh! And I love surfing the web, reading both fanfiction and online comics, as well as messing around on my computer, playing with photoshop and html stuff. As for fanfiction, I usually love reading well-done romance, though lately I've developed a taste for family bonding fics, like father-son type stuff. They're warm and fuzzy, even though they can be angsty and make me want to cry, I love them to death. Favorite categories? Well, I read whatever really suits my fancy depending upon what I've been watching and/or playing, depending upon which RPG I've been sucked into. Lately, I've been reading gen fics from Star Wars, Harry Potter, and Transformers, even though I've only seen the movie and the new cartoon. There are so many talented artists and writers for every different re-imagining of said Transformers that I think the universe might wind up as big an obsession to me that Star Wars once was, which scares me just a little. I worry though, that if I watch the original cartoon that I'll wind up laughing hysterically at it, and then the fandom will be ruined completely, so we'll see if I take the time to hunt said cartoon down. For the romance fics, pairings I usually read include ones that aren't typically canon; alternate pairing fics tend to be better written and have more solid plots, since the author has taken the time to actually think things out. My favorites include: Zuko/Katara (Avatar: The Last Airbender), Stan/Kyle (South Park), Kagome/Sesshoumaru and occasionally some Kagome/Inu-Yasha (Inu-Yasha), Riku/Sora as well as Roxas/Sora (pure crack I know, but some of the stories are really well written) and Roxas/Axel (Kingdom Hearts I & II), Cloud/Tifa (hopeless romantic rearing its head with this one -- Final Fantasy VII), Hermione/Weasley (not necessarily Ron; there are some fics that pair her with Fred that are both hilarious and well written -- oh, and Harry Potter, though I don't think I needed to add that), Greg/Nick (CSI), Obi-Wan/Anakin (both in the romantic sense as well as the family sense, as I can see them in both types of relationships -- Star Wars), and anything that might hit my fancy at the moment. These pairs are the ones I absolutely devoured at one point or another, and consequently, have a bunch of links for in my favorites. Um, well, I can't really think of anything else I want to say or anything else I feel you people out there need to know, so I'm a stoppin' now. Stormqueen My Stories (Stories Currently in Development) -- A one shot concerning another scene from my story Shadows of the Future; it's pure crack, and I'm debating whether or not it should even see the light of day. -- Another one shot based in the Star Wars universe (Canon too! Well, canon-ish, anyway.) using the premise of what the families who have their children taken by the Jedi must go through. The ending is fighting me, so we'll see when it gets posted. -- Untitled multi-chaptered Star Wars fic: this one just might turn out to be longer than Shadows of the Future, and is an even bigger AU. It's sort of the opposite premise of Monsters; at least, that's how it started out, but due to my sheer inability to write an evil!Obi, it's turning out to be one giant angst-fest. I've been writing it off and on for quite some time now, and I hope to have it finished before the year is out. -- A Transformers fic: I've just started this one; one of the livejournal communities I joined has had a deluge of stories and ideas that just made my imagination go, "Ooh!" and now I'm in the process of writing an AU that takes place after the 2007 movie. Dunno when it'll be done, since I've only just started it, but hopefully (hopefully!) the first chapter or so will be out before the end of the year. (Works in Progress) -- None at the moment. There will hopefully be some in the near future, though. (Completed -- arranged by category) Pixar's Cars --Stickers: A blatant Lightning&Sally piece that takes place both during and after the movie. Stuffed with WAFF, and will hopefully give you some serious fuzzies. Star Wars -- Blue: Written in response to the Color challenge on the JC forums; Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader reflects upon the color blue. Full of general angst. -- Of Shadows and Broken Dreams: A oneshot written in response to the Shakespeare challenge on the JC forums: After the duel of Mustafar, Obi-Wan reflects upon what has been, what is, and what will be. Chockfull of Obi-angst; gotta love it! (grins) -- Obi-Wan and the Castle Slrig Naf: A mission goes horribly wrong and Obi-Wan finds himself taking shelter in a castle full of women devoted to... wait, who? Inspired by the Monty Python and the Holy Grail Castle Anthrax scene, and contains Obi, Ani, and a whole lot of nameless fangirls. Pure absurdist humor; you know you want to read it! (winks) -- Shadows of the Future: SW, a timetravel TPM AU, where Obi-Wan loses the duel on Mustafar and wakes up to find himself in the middle of the events surrounding TPM. It has a little bit of everything, and is my epic of SW fics, and focuses on Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Qui-Gon. Nifty cover art I made for above fic: Shadows of the Future Cover And as an added bonus, a trailer I made. :D Shadows of the Future trailer (Please note that the updating schedule mentioned refers to the Jedi Council Forums, where this story is also being posted.) The German translation of this story, as done by feather-of-an-angel, can be found here. I feel so honored that my story is being translated into other languages! Isn't that the sign of a successful story/book? (blushes) -- Monsters: A big fat AU in which Qui-Gon left the Jedi Order because of the incident with Xanatos. Obi-Wan arrives on Bandomeer, as there is no one in the Order willing to take him as their apprentice, and the two inevitably meet. But what plays out is hardly the JA series, and is quite possibly my darkest story yet. I need to go put a Character Death warning in there somewhere, actually. Anyway, it got a nomination for "Best Villain: Qui-Gon Jinn" on the JC forums, and was written under the heavy influence of Batman Begins as well as Liam Neeson as Henri Ducard. And here, as promised, is the cover art for the above fic: Monsters. It was made for me by the wonderful and talented J_L, and I can't thank her enough. -- Couches: A short, fluffy vignette concerning Obi-Wan, some poor, unsuspecting couches, and one Master unfortunate enough to have such a devoted apprentice. JA-time line, taking place somewhere after Qui-Gon takes Obi-Wan as his apprentice, and based off a comment Obi-Wan makes in Shadows of the Future. (Wow, a piece that might actually fit into canon? I know! Shocking!) |
