Story: Hauntings From The Past and its sequels
Age at first appearance: 3
Description: Jaina is a brown haired, hazel-eyed little girl who happens to be a Corellian, Force-sensitive genius. Don't let her short stature fool you, she's a fighter that carries around a dark past. Her godfather is Qui-Gon Jinn, who takes her on as a second apprentice in addition to Obi-Wan Kenobi. Jaina is a loving young girl and, while trusting, is also cautious.

Jacen 'Jace' Solo:

Age at first appearance: 8
Description: A musical prodigy, Jace is a smart-mouthed Corellian kid with brown hair and blue eyes. He and Jaina are best friends and Jace sees himself as Jaina's protector and confident. He and his father, a trader, travel around the galaxy, occasionally running into Jaina, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan on their own missions

Rindou 'Rin' Ikisatashi:
Story: Primarily Alien Uprising Trilogy, A Change of Heart, Blindsided
Age at first appearance: 19 3/4 in Alien Uprising, 16 in A Change of Heart
Bio: Rin is Pie's twin (Pie being the elder by five minutes). She is nearly as tall as her twin (shorter by roughly half a foot, Pie being six foot five inches tall), and has waist-length pale-purple curls and indigo eyes. When they were young, Pie and Rin looked enough alike that they were frequently mistaken as identical twins, though as they grew older this happened less. Rin is almost always smiling and laughing, though has a bit of a temper. She's a girly-girl, but she is also a warrior. She fights with tessen fans that were passed down to her through her mother's family line. She is also a genius (like Pie) and has a specialty in botany and, as an artist, catalogs new plants that have grown on Cynnth. She also uses her artistic talents to create cakes for Cafe Mew Mew. She is pursued 'romantically' by Mylo (Kish's evil half-brother), but she refuses him repeatedly. She begins to develop feelings for Keiichiro Akasaka.

Rirī Ikisatashi:
Story: Primarily Alien Uprising Trilogy, A Change of Heart, Blindsided
Age at first appearance: 16 1/2 in Alien Uprising, 14 in A Change of Heart
Bio: Rirī has auburn hair that she wears in two loose buns on the top of her hair and indigo eyes. She is short and is somewhere between girly-girl and tomboy. She is training to become a Healer by her mother, Risa, but she is also skilled in hand-to-hand fighting and archery. She is an old soul and somewhat of a second mother to her siblings, though admittedly she does have a bit of a short temper with them. She and her sister Rin are the only ones who can get away with calling Pie an idiot, and will often call him a baka when she is annoyed with him (which is frequent). She is closest with Tart, but has a good relationship with all her siblings, though she and Pie often argue. Like all Healers, Rirī can read auras. Her love interest is her best friend since childhood, Zen Tatsuya.

Rozū Ikisatashi:
Story: Primarily Alien Uprising Trilogy, A Change of Heart, Blindsided
Age at first appearance: 10 in Alien Uprising, 8 in A Change of Heart
Bio: Rozū has pale-purple hair she wears in braided pigtails and bronze eyes. A rough and tumble tomboy, she is very small (Her oldest brother, Pie, towers over her by nearly two feet) and often thought to be younger than she is. She tries to pretend to be older than she is when it comes to fighting, but she acts like the child she is around her siblings, often either annoying them or smothering them in hugs, and is notorious for jumping onto Pie and Kish's back whenever she feels like it. She dreams of becoming the first female Cyniclon general someday and she fights with sai swords that she named 'Rose Thorns', having been taught how to fight with them by Kish. The swords were a gift from Kish right before he left for Earth as a peace offering, as she did not want him to go.

Éclair Ikisatashi:
Story: A Change of Heart, Blindsided
Age at first appearance: 5
Bio: Éclair is the second child of Alec and Lila and the younger sister of Kisshu by nine years. After Alec and Lila both die when Éclair is two and Kish is eleven, Risa and Curry Ikisatashi adopt them, already having five children of their own. Éclair is a very sweet and happy child, and is very possessive of Kish, who spoils her and brought her lots of presents from Earth. She also idolizes Ichigo, and the two become very close. Her power is Healing, like that of both her biological and adopted mothers'.

Curry Ikisatashi:
Story: Alien Uprising Trilogy (First mention, Alien Uprising; First appearance, Alien Upgrade), A Change of Heart, Blindsided
Age at first appearance: 38
Bio: Curry is the husband of Risa Ikisatashi and the biological father of Pie, Rindou, Riri, Taruto, Rozu and Asagao Ikisatashi and adopted father of Kisshu and Eclair. Curry was best friends with Alec, Kish and Eclair's biological father, and had promised to take care of Alec's children if something were to happen to Alec and Lila (in AU Mylo was included in this promise, but Mylo's family on his mother's side took him anyways), and Alec and Lila promised to do the same if something were to happen to Curry and Risa. Like Pie, Curry is strong, tall and a little frightening. However, he has a heart of gold and loves his children dearly and is very protective of them (his daughters especially). He has long auburn hair and bronze eyes. His weapon of choice is a spear. Curry held a high position in the Cyniclon Military, but after the Mew Aqua restored the planet, he resigned with honors and took up farming, preferring working with his hands to the military lifestyle. Like Tart, his powers involve controlling plants. He met his wife while studying at the military academy; though he was initially jealous of her because she had out-performed him in archery, the two became close. When he was seventeen, Curry proposed to fourteen year old Risa after coming back to Cynnth from a mission and they were married shortly after she turned fifteen.

Risa Ikisatashi:
Story: Alien Uprising Trilogy (First mention, Alien Uprising; First appearance, Alien Upgrade), A Change of Heart, Blindsided
Age at first appearance: 36
Bio: Risa is the wife of Curry Ikisatashi and the biological mother of Pie, Rindou, Riri, Taruto, Rozu and Asagao Ikisatashi and adoptive mother of Kisshu and Eclair. Lila was best friends with Risa, Kish and Eclair's biological mother, and served as midwife to both of Lila's births (in the AU storyline, Lila passes away shortly after Kish is born). Risa is very small (barely over five feet) her husband and children tower over her considerably, and has long lavender-gray curly hair and indigo eyes. She is very loving and motherly, but also protective of her children as well as their friends. While not a fighter, she is an expert archer and Healer. Though trained as an all-around Healer, Risa's specialty is serving as midwife and caring for expectant and new mothers and their babies. She had just turned fifteen when she married Curry and Pie and Rindou were born eleven months later, right after her sixteenth birthday.

So, I'm reading Kamisama Kiss... and realize that Mizuki basically keeps getting Familiar-zoned... Poor little snaky...

Ichigo Momomiya is way too obsessed over her first boyfriend. Even for a hormonal thirteen year old girl going through puberty with an added cat tail. I actually pity Masaya because of this.

Even though it isn't the genre of Beauty Pop, I view Kiri Koshiba as a Magical Girl. She doesn't fight bad guys with special weapons or have a transformation scene, she doesn't have a pretty dress to wear and she doesn't stumble into Yokai, demons, aliens, angels, wizards or anything like that. She isn't magical. But she gives magic. Kiri is generous and compassionate, asking for nothing, only giving magic to people who don't have their own. She gives people, girls and boys, confidence in themselves and allows them to love themselves just by styling their hair. Kiri's special wand is a pair of scissors. Her pretty dress is overalls and a baseball cap. Kiri Koshiba is a true Magical Girl.

Am I the only one wishing that in Mew Mew Power (English dub of Tokyo Mew Mew) there was at least one time Dren said: "And I would have gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for you meddling Mew Mews!" 'Cause that would be hilarious. And sound great with Dren's voice.

Also in Mew Mew Power, Sardon should have a twin brother named Jargon, who speaks with an equally fancy British accent and uses equally fancy and elaborate words. Just something I thought of while reading my English handbook.

No one will ever love karaoke like the Tower Witches in Witch Craft Works love karaoke.
