Author has written 1 story for Harry Potter. Hello all, I'm a former uni student in Australia (that's as precise as I'm going to get), and while I have read Harry Potter FanFiction for several years, this is my first foray into writing. Bear with me. My decision to start writing was partially inspired by boredom - I had been given an office so I no longer had to work at home, thus leaving me with plenty of spare time in the evenings, since I'm not particularly fond of the television - and partially because I've decided that two and a half years of essay writing has to be good for something. Now, I doubt I will be writing more than one major story at a time, I'm not that confident, but if I do, I can already tell you I have a plot bunny kicking around that's really annoying me. Most likely though, I'll just stick to writing one at a time. Another thing I should warn you about is that I could never willingly write Harry and Ginny together. While I was rather ambivalent towards her throughout the first five books, she was never developed well enough for her to be much more than a fangirl to me, which is exactly what Harry, who is incredibly uncomfortable with his fame, would never want. Other than not Ginny, or Cho for that matter, I generally don't have any pairing preferences. While my first story, a response to Reptilia28's challenge (I know, it's been done, but I need to start somewhere) is H/Hr, this is because the challenge calls for it, and I'm not nearly confident enough yet to attempt to flesh out a lesser used character. Besides, I was exclusively a H/Hr shipper when I was first got into fanfiction in Year 9 (oh so long ago). I've seen a few people post their character analyses in their profile, but I'm afraid if I do that I'll get a tad carried away - I can be quite verbose when the mood strikes. Who knows, at one point I may post them as a 'story', possibly as newspaper articles or ministry personnel files. As I'm sure you have already realised, however, I like Ron, and I think he often gets the short end of the stick in fanfiction, particularly stories like the one I'm attempting to write. Congratulations, you've reached the end of what I'm quite sure was a rather boring spiel. RonsFriend.
