Author has written 32 stories for Vampire Academy, and Harry Potter. Hello there, I'm Cora Linh :) My favourite books series include Harry Potter, Obernewtyn by Isobelle Carmody, Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi, the Hunger Games, and Vampire Academy / Bloodlines by Richelle Mead. Some stand-alone favourites of mine include Shift by Em Bailey, Girls Don't Fly by Kristen Chandler (to which one asshole replied "but boys can haha" and I told him "girl's don't, boys can't" and I'm still very proud of that), The Bridge by Jane Higgins, and Looking For Alaska by John Green. If you can't decide which of my stories to read then I suggest Hold On (it's a little sad but I'm still really happy with it), or Chef Vinny (short, sweet and funny), they're both one shots :) - dum di dum - Some of the stories (most of the oneshots) are thanks to some challenges off of the Harry Potter Fanfiction Challenges Forum (which is here if you're curious or after ideas) - Fanfiction Wizard Tournament Competition. A Triwizard Tournament styled drabble competition with several rounds (I'm not exactly sure but there's a hint about something for the Yule Ball so I'm guessing there'll be something school dance / love story / traditional for that). Task One: The One That Got Away (pick a Black family member and some prompts) Task Two: Holidays at the Burrow (pick a next gen character and some prompts) Yule Ball: Task Three: - the Countdown to Christmas Drabble / Oneshot Competition, in which I'm using the prompts to explore the lives of our Slytherins, and it's been a lot of fun so go read them all... please :) Some of my favourites are Slytherin Secret Santa (for the preliminary round, anything Christmassy), The Advent Calendars (day one: Advent Calendar), Hold On (winner for day two: Eggnog Latte), The Basement (day five: Ice Skating, rated M for horror, not very graphic though), Hide and Seek (day six: Christmas Jumper), Christmas Day (day seven: Family Gathering), Mulled Wine (day eight: Mulled Wine Scented Yankee Candle), Daphne's Twelve Days of Christmas (winner for day twelve: Twelve Days of Christmas), Chef Vinny (day fourteen: Christmas Turkey), and A Normal Sized Christmas Stocking (day nineteen: Stocking) - dum di dum di dum- Side-note: Have you tried the cookie in a mug recipe yet? Get on it. Tis very scrumptious As always, I'm looking for a beta (preferably Australian, New Zealander or British Islander because of spelling and such) who'd be willing to help me out across the board, I write mostly Harry Potter stuff but I have a few Hunger Games and Divergent stories pending :) |
