![]() Author has written 42 stories for Beyblade, Bleach, Digimon, Hetalia - Axis Powers, and Pokémon. I guess I should tell you a little about myself. Gender: Female (if it isn't obvious) Zodiac: Gemini Chinese Zodiac: Rooster Numerology: 2 Disorders (not officially diagnosed, but pointed out by friends and family): obsessive compulsive, bipolar, bipolar insomnia, anxiety (this one was actually diagnosed). Reasoning behind profile name: two different ideas for Digimon, one involving the Crest of Patience, the other Warrior of Harmony. The name came to me at random. Don't know if I'll expand on those ideas, though. My profile pic is the Crest and the Warrior's Symbol. Favorite anime (in no particular order): Digimon, Pokemon, Beyblade, Bleach, Kiddy Grade, Negima, Trinity Blood, .hack series, Hell Girl, Black Blood Brothers, Black Cat, Rosario Vampire, Ouran High School Host Club, Hetalia, Dance with Devils, Riddle Story of Devil, Danganronpa, Diabolic Lovers, Black Lagoon, Amnesia, Assassination Classroom. Biggest pet peeve: When reading a fanfic (or anything, for that matter) and I see could/would/should/might of. It's could/would/should/might have. Seeing that mistake usually makes me lose all interest in what I'm reading. Stories Beyblade: Hunted: While visiting the Majestics, Ray is haunted by something in his dreams, and poor Oliver is constantly caught in the middle, especially with a mysterious item that he needs to protect. Also, Biovolt wants revenge. Bleach: Demonic Angel: Yumichika gets an inner Hollow that seems different. Also, everyone found out about Yumichika's Zanpakuto, and Aizen wants it. Aizen also drags Arrancars out from Hell, which is the ultimate taboo. Their are a few mysterious allies that want to help. And how are Nnoitra, Luppi and Yumichika connected? Hetalia: A Different Kind of Vampire: After a vampire outbreak, Lovino escapes his life of slavery to three vampires. Only to run into Vlad, a vampire that claims to be different from the others. Part of HCSS. Enough: When starting a new school, Vlad immediately becomes the target for bullies. He befriends the other main targets, but then strange things start to happen. Game of Mirrors: A 2P story where several of the 2Ps decide to play a game (in short, torture). There's also something else going on that neither side is aware of. Hetalia Crack Ship Space: Different oneshots for the crack or rare pairs of Hetalia. Mirror History: History of the 2PWorld. Ties in with Game of Mirrors. Tangled Red Threads: France, Monaco and Picardy work to get those connected with the red string of fate together. Crack pairings galore. The World Meets Canada: Scotland, Ireland and Wales temporarily lift Canada's invisibility, which works a little too well. CanadaXWorld. Ve, We Totally Fooled You: Italy and Poland start World War Three, along with their allies. Part of HCSS. I will also do oneshots upon request. I used to post oneshots every few weeks, but after HCSS, all oneshots are usually there, unless it isn't crack ship-based. Okay, here is a description of my original creations, the Voids: Souls that started the Hollowfication process while still alive, but no signs were clear until after death. It was uncommon, and after the events of three thousand years ago, no Void has been born. The closest were Hollows with memories from their human lives caused by a traumatic event that caused the soul to die before the body. These Hollows are referred to as 'semi-Voids'. Voids fed on emotions and were passive creatures. The only abilities they possessed were ceros, though they tended to be weaker than a Hollow's, and empathy, which allowed them to track down humans with their specific emotion. Because they were virtually powerless, many of them refused to feed in order to become Hollows. Due to the nature of their transformation, they still have the memories and personality of their human lives. Like Hollows, their evolution comes in many forms. White Masks: They are the weakest forms of Voids, with the memories and personality of their human lives intact. They have a humanoid figure, with clothes that are pure white. Their hair and what little of their skin could be seen were also white. Their masks were white and featureless, lacking a mouth. If they regressed into Hollows, then they would be extremely strong, usually becoming a Gillian, and being extremely intelligent. Painted Masks: They are the second stage of Void evolution. They keep the white clothing, but their skin and hair returns to normal. Their masks become beautifully decorated, but remain mouthless, unless a mouth is part of the motif, but serves no purpose. Each mask is decorated differently, depending on the Void. Their personalities are slightly moulded from the emotion they feed from, for example, a patient person who feeds on anger can become extremely short-tempered. If they regress to Hollow form, they usually become an Adjuccas. Beast Masks: The third stage of Void evolution. Not much changes in the mask they wore, but their bodies change. Their clothes are no longer white, but the color of their spiritual pressure. They also gain beast-like features, such as wings, claws, a tail, talons, etc. They also occasionally get fangs, which are useless behind their masks, unless they temporarily break the bottom of their mask in order to bite. This is especially true in the case of those with poisonous fangs. Voids of this kind always became Vasto Lorde. Diablos: Also called the Shattered Masks. They are the Void equivalent of Arrancars. They do not feed in order to prevent themselves from becoming Hollows, but solely for the purpose of keeping their ability to kill in check. In all the time, only seven Voids have become Diablos, namely Zaya, Zeron, Leva, Baro, Nagina, Rith and Kivara. Powers and Abilities Empathy: They can sense people's emotions and can track specific personalities through emotions. This was used in order to locate those that have a tendency to their specific emotions. Cero: They can perform a regular cero which is slightly weaker than a Hollow's, but the older they are, the stronger the cero. Cero Domina: Creating a cero with no intention of firing it. At the last second, the cero is solidified to become any object the user desires. As food, it becomes a powerful medicine. As clothes, it is a strong armor. But as anything else, it becomes a bomb, especially if the form is a weapon of some kind. As a weapon, it is very unstable, and after a number of hits will explode. The power of the explosion is equal to a cero fired at point blank range. It has been modified that, should it explode, then no harm will come to the user. Those with Cero Severa are more inclined to use it than anyone else. Anyone that can use a cero can learn Cero Domina. Cero Severa: The strongest cero. It is very rare, and only a Void can use it. In order for a semi-Void to have it, he/she must have been a Void in a previous life and was reincarnated. In that case, the Cero Severa becomes weaker. The cero is mixed with something else. Dragonfire Cero is a cero mixed with fire, Toxic Cero is a poisonous cero, Thunder Cero mixes a cero and lightning, and Atomic Cero is a cero made from pure destruction, with the ability to completely destroy everything in a hundred mile radius. Cero Severa is extremely dangerous with a low chance of survival. In the case of Toxic and Atomic Cero, the chances are non-existent. It is a standard cero for the users and requires little, if any, spiritual pressure. Complete Immunity: By performing a blood trade, Voids can become immune to each other's powers. They only need to trade blood once, as it synchronizes with everyone else. If someone is related by blood to someone that is a Void, then they become immune as well. As a result, they cannot harm each other in any way. They cannot feed from each other and their attacks become harmless. They can also sense each other's spiritual pressures, but cannot become overwhelmed. The only techniques that will work on them are healing techniques. This applies even after regression or reincarnation. Diablos only powers Shadowspeed: Their form of high speed movement. The only one that can't use it is Zeron. Their bodies and senses speed up, and they perceive time as standing still. They can hold it for a long time, sometimes the equivalent of years. When they release it, seemingly random destruction follows. Basically, they move at a speed so fast that time itself needs to catch up with them. Diamante: Since hierros mean 'iron', theirs mean 'diamond', suggesting that is a lot stronger. The strongest belongs to Zeron. Demon Slayers: They never refer to their swords as Zanpakuto, since a Zanpakuto is a Soul Reaper weapon, and existed long before the Soul Reapers. They also have a name and release command, and their release resembles a Resurreccion. They rarely draw their swords, but when it is drawn, it's as though the whole world tenses. Those nearby are filled with a sense of unexplained terror, since the Demon Slayers were originally designed to kill immortal beings. Kivara is the most likely to draw and release her sword, whereas Zaya and Zeron are the least likely. Each Diablos has three Resurreccion, except for Zaya, who has seven. Rapid Healing: Their bodies can heal extremely fast, giving the impression of immortality. Kivara can survive a decapitation, as well as regrow her head. The difference between this technique and instant regeneration that the Arrancars possess is, simply, rapid healing works on the internal organs as well, healing them so fast that the body doesn't even register that it is injured. ESP: All Diablos have a sixth sense, called extra sensory perception. Because of this, techniques that attack the senses are useless. These include a sharpening of the senses, clairvoyance, precognition, and telepathy. Zaya can also use telekinesis. Sight sharing allows them to see what the others are seeing. Because of their sixth sense, they can also gauge the power of the opponent, as well as what kinds of powers they use, and match their power accordingly. Memory strands: They can show others their memories by plucking out a strand of hair. They give the hair to the target and the hair catches aflame in the color of their spiritual pressure while the recipient experiences their memories. If their hair is plucked out in chunkfuls without their consent, the one who pulled the hair will experience random memories all at the same time, often leading to insanity. Diablos also have a habit not to fight at full power. Their power is considered overkill, so they lower it to match their opponent's, but occasionally just a tad stronger. Their spiritual pressure cannot be sensed unless they want it to be, and it is enough to completely crush anyone nearby. They also fight at the same level as an opponent in order to make the fight last, otherwise they win too easily. They can prolong a fight to days, even months. When they have no patience and no desire for an opponent, they will either release a fragment of their spiritual pressure as a warning, or they will simply kill before the opponent can blink. The Diablos are the rulers of Hell, with the Kushanada acting as the guards. Very few know about the Diablos, but if they become involved, then it is a serious matter. If you want to use them, then you need to PM me to ask my permission. After all, I never gave any abilities of the individual Diablos, now did I? New multi-chapters for Hetalia I have a few ideas for multi-chapter fics. I have even started on them, but I get bitten by plot bunnies too often, and occasionally I barely have time for my ongoing stories as it is. Untangled Threads: Oneshot collection, sequel to Tangled Red Threads. I am accepting suggestions. Suggestions would be nice.) These are the plot bunnies that bit me. Some are quite vicious, don't you think? There will probably be a few others incoming, since I get bitten a lot. And you can still PM me to tell me which you would like to read. I really don't mind. Hetalia Crack Ship Space (HCSS) So, a few years ago, I got really fed up with seeing pairings like USUK, FrUk, Spamano, GerIta, PruCan, DenNor, SuFin, LietPol everywhere on the fandom. I don't hate these pairings (except PruCan), it's just... I've seen so many stories with these pairings that it becomes bland. The dynamics are the same in every story, and I got the sense that some of the authors aren't even trying to justify these pairings. That the only reason why these pairings are in the story is because they're popular, and so the author is hoping to attract the supporters of those pairings while the plot... Okay, sometimes it's a decent plot, but other times it feels as though the entire story is riding on these pairings. And it also annoys me when the author gives a list of the background pairings, and then they play absolutely no role in the plot. They're just there to show that, yes, the author supports them. These pairings have become cheap, unoriginal and lazy. And a lot of authors treat these pairings as something that just is. There's no questioning them, and thus no justifying them. And if there's no justifying them, then they become one-dimensional, or at best two-dimensional. Which was why I started searching for other pairings. Some of them have a decent following, while others I couldn't find anything, or I'd find one or two stories - enough to get me curious, but not enough to be satisfying. And then there are those that only have a few chapters and are left incomplete. And after a while, I got frustrated again, and decided to do something about it. Now, I made it very clear when I started writing that I refuse to do romance stories. I wasn't good at it. So it was with a lot of thinking that I started Tangled Red Threads, and to my relief it was a success. The idea had been to showcase a few pairings selected through a randomiser, and making them work. But as I posted Tangled Red Threads, I received a lot of requests, and I couldn't just leave them. Thus, the Hetalia Crack Ship Space was born. The story labeled 'Hetalia Crack Ship Space' is a collection of oneshots, but a few pairings have spawned their own plots, so there are multichapter stories with crack ships or rare pairs. They're marked by HCSS in the summary. Examples are A Different Kind of Vampire and Ve, We Totally Fooled You (and for those saying that the pairings are unusual: that's the point). This is to showcase the rarer pairings, and hopefully motivate some of the other authors on this site to give these pairings a try, not just because I'd like to read some of these stories, but because it's a challenge. With the pairings listed above, many others have done it so you have an idea on how you can do it as well. But with the rare pairs, one has to think about the dynamics, and you need to convince the readers that this can work out. It's only through challenging yourself that you can better yourself. My first challenge was writing something remotely romantic, while the second was convincing the readers that these pairings can work. I'm not saying that the popular pairings are bad, but that there needs to be some variety. If you really want to write these pairings, then it's your choice. Just make sure that they're well-written, or done in a creative way. Don't rely on them to carry the story, but instead to strengthen the story. And keep both characters' personalities in mind. One of the reasons why I started hating PruCan is because a lot of authors will have Prussia immediately deciding that Canada is 'awesome' upon their first meeting, when Canada is acting shy. There's no logical way that someone as loud and arrogant as Prussia would immediately decide that someone quiet, shy and timid would be 'awesome'. Even if it's just a front, even if Prussia has hidden depths, it would not logically happen. The same thing with Spamano. No matter how cheerful Spain is, he wouldn't want to pursue a grouchy Romano after their first meeting, when Romano is full-on tsundere and downright rude. Even the most cheerful, friendliest people feel discouraged if they think that someone else hates them, and they'd want to put as much distance between them as possible. There are a lot of examples. If you're going to write them, then I think you need to distance yourself from the pairings first, analyse the characters, and think: how can I get these two together? Forget about what everyone else that wrote this pairing has done in the past, and try to think of ways to make this pairing unique. And please, if you're going to write a background pairing, give them a role in the story, and not just a namedrop. If the characters have a role, but the pairing is only mentioned and serves no other function, then please, don't do it. And to those wanting to write the rare pairs: good luck. Trust me, it's not that easy. Especially if there isn't any canon justification for the pairings. You can look for other stories with these pairings - again, good luck, because some of them aren't written as a pairing, or the story only has one or two chapters. You also need to keep them in character. Luckily, a person's personality has many aspects. But again, it becomes difficult if we don't even know a lot about the character in canon. Advice against writer's block So in creative writing class, we had this exercise that helps combat writer's block. What you do is pick sixty random nouns. If possible, get someone else to supply nouns for you as well. In my class, you came up with ten nouns before passing on your paper to the next person, and after five other people have written their nouns they would give you your paper back. Each noun corresponds to a minute. If you get stuck, then look on a watch (digital might be best) and find the number that corresponds with the time. If it's, say, 10:30, then you'll look for number 30. Now, take that noun, and keep writing the story until you can somehow include that noun. In the exercise in class, I ended up with Mexico, so I had to write something with Mexico. You can even have multiple lists. You can also take a piece of paper, write places/times on the paper, tear the paper until each place/time is a separate piece, put it in a box or anything else, shake it a bit and draw one of these pieces. If you're in the middle of a chapter, try to write until you reach a point where you can incorporate this place/time into your story. And if you're looking for a prompt, then you can combine this method with the above method. The most important weapon against writer's block is to keep writing. Even if it's just a shopping list, you need to keep writing. Your mind becomes stimulated, and eventually you can find a way past your block. |
