10. Actually, I'm not really a girly girl...I guess I'm like a tomboyish kind of person, just not a total tomboy.

44. I love anime. It's one of the greatest things ever. I don't know if I could live without it!

48. I really, really, really want to be a voice actor when I get older. I practice my voices every day, and I am determined to see this dream through!

51. I actually have real shurikens, or "ninja stars," that I have hidden in my room. Just in case... ;)

53. Manners are probably the greatest skill developed by human beings. I hate it when people don't use them--ESPECIALLY at the dinner table.

CATEGORY 1: STORIES

ENTRY NO. 1: 1dninjagolloyd
Lloyd sat down in the wooden chair as Danielle pulled out another, her purple-painted fingernails, showing no blemishes, curled around the chipped bar. "Lloyd, I've decided today that we should have some- well, bonding time." Lloyd furrowed his eyebrows, quizzical on what kind of 'bonding time' she was referring to.

"Lloyd, um, I was thinking- well, we could- um, go somewhere?" Danielle stuttered. Lloyd could tell that she was trying to act like a responsible parent to make a good impression on him to make him more comfortable, but so far she was just making him more uneasy as he shifted in his seat, eyes down.

"Now, I know I've been gone a long time-"

"You were dead, yeah yeah." Lloyd's voice showed a sudden mood swing, that was to be expected at Lloyd's current mid-teen age. "No, Lloyd, I was doing what was best for you."

"We already went through this before, Danielle." Lloyd said, his voice full of venom.

"Please, Lloyd, at least call me Dani." Danielle said calmly.

Lloyd stared at her, placing a stray golden lock of hair behind his ears. "Alright, Dani." He said, his voice softening a little.

"Lloyd, I know we went through the whole story of why I left you before. So we don't need to talk about it now." Danielle enforced, looking into Lloyd green eyes as if an attempt to intimidate him. It didn't seem to work. His eyes remained hard and annoyed.

"Well, I think we should go to the park for a picnic." Danielle said joyfully, clapping her hands together. Rolling his eyes, Lloyd rises up from the chair and pushed it back into the table. "When will we go?" He asked Dani, looking around for an escape route. "After you make sandwiches, dal." Dani smiled, getting out jelly, butter and bread. He spread each layer on as Dani watched him intently. He wasn't sure what he should do, shoot lightning out of his hands or something?

He was so focussed on watching Dani that he didn't see where the butter knife was going. He winced in pain and the knife cut the skin off. "Ow!" He exclaimed, shoving him finger in his mouth. Blood filled his taste buds as he spat the blood out and grabbed a tissue, applying pressure to the wound. He sighed in content as the pain calmed.

"Lloyd, are you ok?" Dani asked from the other side of the kitchen. She'd been watching the whole thing, and now she was asking a question she would ask from being in the separated room next door.

"No." Lloyd stated as he showed the wound to Dani. Blood seeped through the skin, a big slice made in the side of his finger. "Wait here." Dani said, as she hurried off to the second-floor bathroom. Lloyd almost laughed at her trying to be 'nice' to him. She wasn't just healing the wound with magic, she was getting a band-aid.

She came back with a small pale bandaid. Peeling off both sides, she delicately placed the bandaid over the wound. Lloyd raised one eyebrow at her and frowned. He soon found that frown merging into a smile as he looked into her eyes and wrapped his arms around her. "I missed you." Dani whispered. Lloyd closed his eyes tightly as a tear squeezed through his eyes. "Me too, Mom."

ENTRY NO. 2: Iheartninjago2010
The sun was shining brightly and the birds were singing in the trees. It was a beautiful day for a picnic, Nya thought. When the blue guy (oh, what's his name?!) had cornered her yesterday and asked her if she would go on a picnic with him, Nya had reluctantly said yes.
It wasn't that she disliked the guy (I still can't think of his name!). Not at all. She actually liked him a lot. In fact, something inside her seemed to push her towards him. She didn't understand why though. Maybe it had something to do with those 'forgotten memories' that everyone kept talking about.
The reason she had been reluctant was because he kept badgering her. Ever since he and the others had begun to regain their memory, he had hardly left her side for a minute. He was worse than the red guy (I think his name is Kai?) who claimed to be her brother.
That was another thing that puzzled her. Kai claimed that he was her brother, but he also called the other three guys his brothers. Did that make them her brothers too? When she had asked Kai, his reply was that they only called themselves 'brothers'. They weren't really related, as he was to her. But then why did they call each other 'brother,' Nya had asked him. Kai had patiently tried to explain it to her, but she still didn't understand. Instead of telling him that though, she simply nodded her head and pretended that she understood.
Nya sighed as she pulled a clean shirt over her head. It was a bit snug because of her slightly bulging middle. She smiled as she thought of the baby that she was carrying. She had been told that it was a girl. She was a little excited about the fact that in a few months, she would have a daughter.
There was another thing that bothered her. Who was her baby's father? It seemed that everyone had their own opinion. Some of them said that the black guy (Cole, I think) was the father. The others insisted that Jay was. But Nya didn't see how either of them could be her baby's father. She had memories with either of them; all of her memories were with Lloyd.
But something inside told her that that wasn't right.
Why did it have to be that everything that she knew had taken place felt wrong and things that she didn't even remember felt right?
She sighed again. She wasn't sure of anything anymore.
There was a knock at her door and she heard a voice call her name.
"Nya?" It sounded like Jay's voice. "I've got the picnic stuff. Are you almost ready?" he asked. Taking one last look at herself in the mirror, Nya took a deep breath and opened the door. Jay stood there staring at her, his mouth halfway open.
"Wow!" he finally said. Nya felt herself blush at his reaction to her appearance. "So I'm guessing that you're ready?" he clarified. Nya nodded shyly. "Great! Then let's go!" He held his arm out, waiting for her to slip hers through. Nya hesitated for a second before slipping her arm through his. Jay smiled down at her and she returned a small shy smile as he led her downstairs.
Kai was in the living room when they entered. He gave Jay what looked like a warning glance before smiling at Nya. Jay gave him a polite nod before continuing to lead his date outside.
Ten minutes later found Jay and Nya seated on the red and white checkered picnic blanket in the middle of the park. Jay had chosen this spot for a special reason. This had been the place where he had first fallen in love with Nya. He smiled as he thought about that day.
"What are you smiling at?" Nya asked as she noticed his smile.
"Oh, it's nothing," he told her. It wouldn't do any good to mention it to her because she couldn't remember it. He sighed and took a bite of his sandwich.
They ate in silence for a while, each not knowing what to say to the other. Finally Nya broke the silence.
"It's a nice day, itn't?" she asked. Jay nodded.
"Yep, not too hot and not too cold," he agreed.
Then the silence fell again. Jay fidgeted nervously. He had another reason for bringing Nya to that spot. Both he and Kai believed that he was the key to Nya regaining her memories. Something inside Jay told him that if he could just get Nya to kiss him, all of her memories would be unlocked. It had taken a lot of convincing to get Kai to finally give in and let Jay try, but he had finally agreed only after giving Jay a firm warning not to hurt her.
Jay glanced up at Nya. She was facing away from him, watching some children who were playing ball. She was so beautiful! Jay sighed. She just had to remember him. It hurt him deeply every time that she hesitated when he held his hand out to her or when she flinched whenever he touched her. He knew that it wasn't her fault that she didn't remember, but he still couldn't help feeling hurt.
He HAD to tell her how he felt about her. But how? And what if she didn't feel the same way about him anymore? Jay sighed. He didn't think he could stand it if Nya told him that she didn't love him. But what if it was the only way for her to regain her memories? It was worth a shot.
"Nya," he said, getting her attention. She turned to look at him. "Nya, I have something to tell you. I know that you don't remember me or any of our dates or the good times we had together, but Nya, I," he paused long enough to take a deep breath before continuing. "I love you, Nya. I always have and it doesn't matter whether you love me back or not, but I want you to know that I will always love you no matter what."
Nya stared at him, her eyes wide with surprise at what he had just said. He said that he loved her. But how could he when they had just met a few weeks ago? You can't love someone that you don't really know, can you?
But he does know you, a voice inside of her said. He loves you, and you love him too.
What? Nya thought to herself. That doesn't make any sense. I don't even remember him! How can I love him?
It doesn't matter how, the voice spoke again. The only thing that matters is that you do. Reach out to him. Touch him.
Nya was hesitant to obey, but the voice continued to insist. Jay had taken her silence as rejection and had turned away from her. Timidly, she reached out her hand and touched his shoulder.
Her touch surprised him and he whirled around to face her. He held her small slender hand in his strong ones, a smile appearing on his handsome face.
Kiss him, the voice inside Nya told her.
What?! Nya thought in surprise. I can't just kiss him out of the blue like that!
What if he were to kiss you? the voice asked her. As if he had heard the voice as well, Jay began to slowly lean towards her. Nya felt her breath catch in her throat. Should she kiss him?
Jay was coming closer. A few more seconds and he would able to reach her. She could feel his warm breath on her face as he hesitated, waiting for her to give him some kind of signal of permission. Taking a deep breath, Nya closed her eyes. That was all the permission that he needed.
He kissed her.
The kiss lasted for a few seconds before they broke apart.
Nya's heart was pounding furiously and her breathing matched it as she opened her eyes and looked directly into his.
Suddenly everything started coming back to her. She remembered! Her eyes lit up with excitement.
"Jay! I remember!" she exclaimed, throwing her arms around his neck. "I remember everything!" She was laughing and crying at the same time as she felt Jay's arms come around her. She leaned back in his arms, staring up into his face.
Jay smiled down at her, feeling happier than he'd felt in months.
"I love you, Jay," Nya told him softly.
"I love you too," he replied, leaning down to kiss her again.

ENTRY NO. 3: Iheartninjago2010
The sun was shining brightly that morning. The melodious sound of birds singing added to the happiness and excitement of the day. For the last time, Seiko Mitsuhide woke up. She lay in her small bed for a few minutes, listening to the joyful songs of the birds. She smiled slightly. Glancing at the clock on her nightstand, she almost leaped out of bed when she saw the time. 9:30! Oh, no! I can't believe I slept so late! she thought to herself as she scrambled out of her bed. There was so much to be done before the ceremony that afternoon and her sleeping late didn't help anything.
Well, actually, that's not entirely true, Seiko told herself as she studied herself on the mirror of her vanity. A little extra beauty rest never hurt anyone, though from the looks of her hair, it didn't help much either. She wrinkled her nose as she picked up a brush and began to try and make some order to her tangled mass of black hair.
After a few minutes of painful yanking and pulling, she finally gave up. At least she had managed to get it to lay flat, she thought.
She pushed her hair back behind her ears, leaving her entire face exposed and revealing the tear shaped birthmark on her cheekbone. This was something she had only recently started doing. She had hated her birthmark so much that she had always kept her hair covering it, refusing to let anyone see it.
Except for Lloyd. He was the reason she now revealed her entire face. He had given her the self-confidence she had needed so badly. It was because of him that this day was so special.
A knock on her closed door made her jump and startled her from her thoughts. Grabbing her burgundy colored robe from off the end of her bed, she wrapped it around herself before calling, "come in."
The door opened and in walked her father. On instinct, Seiko immediately tensed up upon seeing him. Her relationship with her father was slowly on the mend, but sometimes she still couldn't help the nervous feeling she got whenever he was around. Noticing his smiling face, she allowed herself to relax slightly, though she still kept her guard up.
"I was coming to make sure you were awake," he told her.
"Thanks," she replied, giving him a small smile.
"Today's the big day," he reminded her as if she had forgotten. "You nervous?"
"Some," Seiko admitted. "Mostly excited though." Lou nodded.
"There's nothing to be nervous about," he told her. "Well, nothing besides the ceremony that is." He smiled at her. "Lloyd's a good man and I know he'll take good care of you. Even better than I did." He added that last sentence as sort of an apology. He still felt guilty about the way he had treated his daughter after her mother had died. True, he was now trying to make it right, but there was nothing that he could do to change the past.
"I know he will, Dad," Seiko agreed.
They stood in silence for a few minutes before Lou spoke again.
"Well, I guess I'll leave you to get ready and go see how everything's going downstairs," he said, slowly backing out of the room. Seiko nodded and gave him a smile, which her returned as he closed the door.

An hour and a half later, Seiko was almost ready. She had finally successfully managed to free her hair from its mass of tangles and had pulled one side back away from her face, securing it into place with a shiny burgundy and pearl comb. The other side hung loose, just barely out of her face. Her makeup had been expertly applied by one of the neighbor women, who had also convinced Seiko to allow her to curl the ends of her hair.
Now, all that was left was her dress. She gently slipped into the gorgeous, creamy white dress. As she studied herself in the full length mirror, the realization hit her.
She was really getting married!
A tingle of excitement rushed through her as she smiled. Carefully, the combs that were attached to the delicate white veil were secured in her hair. The edges of the veil were scalloped and a small tiara rested on top of her head.
She looked like a princess. She hoped that Lloyd would be happy. It was he who had convinced her to get this dress and the veil. She had wanted to go with something a little more simple and less expensive, but he had refused to allow her to. He had said that he wanted her to look and feel like a princess and a simpler dress just wouldn't create that feeling.
It was 11:35. The ceremony was scheduled to start at 12:00. Another knock was heard on the door and she called, "come in." Since she was facing away from the door, she didn't see her father enter.
"My, you look absolutely stunning," he told her, staring at her in amazement. Seiko felt herself blush as she turned towards him. Her father's smile was warm as he walked towards her. He stuck his hand down in his pocket and removed a small velvet box which he handed to her.
"What's this?" she asked puzzled.
"Open it," he told her with a nod of his head. She obeyed and gasped at what she saw. There lay the prettiest pearl necklace that she had ever seen. "I gave those to your mother just before our wedding day. I think she would've wanted you to have them for today," Lou said.
"Oh, they're beautiful!" Seiko said, gingerly fingering the tiny pearls.
"Want me to fasten it for you?" Lou asked. Seiko nodded as she removed them from the box.
Once the necklace was fastened, Seiko turned to face her father.
"Thank you," she said, leaning forward on her tiptoes to place a soft kiss on his lower jawbone. Her father smiled.
"No, thank you for putting up with me and all of my stupidity," he said. "I know that I haven't been the best father, but I want you to know that I do love you." And with that, he kissed her cheek. Tears came to Seiko's eyes and she wrapped her arms around his neck in a hug. Lou's eyes opened wide in surprise and his smile grew wider as he hugged her back.
"You're, you're going to wrinkle your dress," he told her after a few seconds as he pulled away from her. Although he tried to hide it, there were tears in his eyes as well. Seiko was smiling as she wiped her eyes, careful not to smear her mascara. "You ready to go?" Lou asked her.
Seiko nodded and slipped her arm through her father's outstretched one. Slowly they made their way down the stairs.
The streets of the small village were empty as the father and daughter made their way towards the Bounty. Seiko and Lloyd had agreed that the Bounty was a good place to be married at. Florists had been hired and had transformed the Bounty to look beautiful and almost fairy tale like. As they neared the ship, Seiko realized why the streets were so empty. Almost everyone in town had shown up to witness the wedding of the Green Ninja from the looks of the crowd that was gathered around the outside of the Bounty. At least she and Lloyd had agreed that no one besides their immediate family and closest friends would be allowed on board.
Slowly, Lou led his daughter up the ramp of the ship where Nya was waiting for them. Seiko had asked her to be her maid of honor. Nya handed Seiko her bouquet of flowers.
Then the music started playing. Nya began walking up the center aisle that had been formed by the chairs and up towards the front where Lloyd anxiously waited to catch a glimpse of his bride. Slowly, father and daughter started up the aisle. Seiko knew that there were other people there, but she had eyes for only Lloyd. Her Lloyd. He looked so handsome. The two of them never once broke eye contact as she continued up the aisle with her father.
Reaching the front, Lou kissed his daughter's cheek through her veil before placing her hand in Lloyd's. as soon as they're hands touched, a wonderful sensation, like a spark of electricity, ran through both of them. Lloyd looked down at her, his eyes full of love. Seiko smiled shyly at him. She didn't know why, but for some reason, Lloyd always seemed to bring out the shy part of her. In her entire life, Seiko Mitsuhide had never been shy towards anybody. Except Lloyd.
"You're beautiful," Lloyd whispered to her.
"You look very handsome yourself," Seiko told him.
"I love you," Lloyd breathed softly to her so that no one but her could hear him.
"I love you too," she replied just as quietly. "Twinkies," she added in just a slightly louder tone. Lloyd's smile grew wider.
The minister began talking, bringing both of their thoughts back to the present.
"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to join this man and this woman in holy matrimony," he began. Neither Lloyd nor Seiko really paid much attention to what he said until he got to the part where he said, "If any man can show just cause why these two should not be joined together, let him speak now or forever hold his peace."
"I object!" Lloyd whirled around to see who had spoken, though he knew the voice well enough. Seiko felt her blood run cold.
"Noel! What are you doing here?" Lloyd demanded threateningly. His hands were parallel to each other in front of him and Seiko knew that he was about to blast Noel. The boy just laughed.
"I told you that you would pay for what you did to me," he said. Lloyd's anger was rising as his hands began to glow bright green. "Ah, ah, ah, I wouldn't do that it I were you," Noel warned Lloyd. Then he looked past Lloyd and said, "get them boys."
Immediately, an army began swarming over the sides of the ship. The ninja tried to fight them off, but they were sorely outnumbered. Before long, each of the ninja and their family members that had not already fled the ship had been captured.
"Get the girl and bring her with us!" Noel commanded his army.
"Seiko, RUN!" Lloyd yelled as he struggled against his captors.
Seiko obeyed but Noel's warriors were too fast for her to outrun. They grabbed her, roughly tying her wrists behind her back.
"Noel! You'll pay for this!" Lloyd yelled in anger as Noel ordered his warriors to take Seiko to the portal they had come through.
"Oh, we shall see about that," Noel replied. "We shall see." And with that, he and his entire army disappeared through the portal, his evil laughter still echoing through the air.

ENTRY NO. 4: StoriesAreMagic
*note: this isn't really an entry, but it was so good (and more of an inside joke) that I wanted to post it here anyway.
Lloyd yawned and flopped onto the couch next to Seiko. He looked around the full room.
Zane and Cole were having a rather animated discussion in one corner (or rather, the former nindroid was nodding and rocking a sleepy Rie Tanaka so Cole could gesture and make faces without the fear of waking her). A few steps away in a comfy chair, Rikku was reading a book and glancing up at his younger brother about once a page.
In the opposite corner, their older family (Ed and Edna, Damon and Misako, Wu, and Lou) were in the middle of what looked like a very intense game of Monopoly. It looked like his dad was winning and Lou was going bankrupt.
Danielle was observing the adults cooly, blue eyes tracking their every move. Lloyd quickly moved on to watching the next person. His birth mother still made him uncomfortable and Lloyd did his best to avoid her.
Kai and Jay were sitting in the middle of the carpet and arguing about something. Lloyd didn't really care what it was. By the frustrated look on Kai's face and the innocent smirk Jay was wearing, things were going to get real ugly pretty soon. The less he knew, the better.
Nya was sitting next to Seiko. The female samurai only partially watching her brother and boyfriend, choosing instead to concentrate on her conversation with Seiko. The two dark-haired girls were talking about the movies the entire family had watched last night.
Having finished his surveillance, Lloyd closed his eyes in exhaustion. They had been up really late last night. His mind began to drift... But suddenly his eyes flew open.
Seiko had sleepily poked him in the side, eyes half closed as she conversed with her friend. "Move over, Twinkies. You're crowding me."
Lloyd begrudgingly obliged his girlfriend, who moved over and pressed into his side happily. Lloyd rolled his eyes and accepted it as Nya giggled.
Suddenly the doorbell rang. No one moved, perfectly content with where they were.
Lloyd sighed and got up, calling back sarcastically "Don't all rush to answer the door at once! I got it."
Mumbling affirmations followed him as he opened the door. Lloyd frowned, confused at what he saw. A small crowd of people stood outside, holding boxes.
"Uh..." Lloyd's voice trailed off. "What's going on?"
One of them, the tea lady (Mystake, was it?) stepped forward and placed her box in his arms.
Lloyd looked down at it quizzically. It was full of store-bought cookies, the name of which escaped him at the moment.
A pair of girls came forward next, one about 16 to 18 and one not even 10. The older one spoke first, placing her her own box of cookies by Lloyd's feet. "I'm Sakura and this is my little sister Ellecia. We're from Samokai's Village. Nice to meet you."
"We're dead!" The younger girl chirped. She placed her box (yes, it was full of the same cookies) on top of her sister's and skipped away. Sakura followed.
Lloyd stared after them. What just happened?
More people from the crowd stepped forward one by one to (re)introduce themselves and give him cookies. Angus and Avery, Jacob 'Ripsaw' Cheshire, the Bizarro ninja (who seriously creeped him out but ran off before he could fight them), a cat with a collar that read 'Fang', scowling man who called himself 'Mr. Trader', and more.
By the time the crowd had dispersed, Lloyd was nearly drowning in boxes of cookies. He brought them into the living room box by box. Zane and Jay came and helped as soon as they saw what was going on.
"What the-" Seiko said curiously. She sat up and grabbed a cookie, examining it carefully before eating it.
"What's all this?" Cole questioned, staring at the boxes filling the room.
The adults stopped their game and watched Lloyd, Jay, and Zane bring in the final cookies.
"Who was at the door?" Kai asked.
"I guess..." Lloyd's voice trailed off, suddenly remembering what the cookies were called. He looked at Kai and shrugged. "Obscure guys bringing Oreos."

ENTRY NO. 5: EdgeChronicles01
Zane

I was lying on my back in the grass, watching the stars. From my position on the ground, I couldn't see the house, but I was okay with that. Looking at the house reminded me of the troubles over the past few weeks and reminded me of how much I missed her.
I lay there, again wishing I was reincarnated as a star or something, when I heard a voice calling me.
"Zane?" it called out. "Zane? Where are you?"
I sat up and looked toward the house, expecting to see Misaco, Danielle, Edna, or even Maya, but when I sat up the house house was gone. In its place was a dense forest, where not even the bright light of the full moon penetrated.
A cold feeling crawled down my spine, and I could sense a strange presence behind me. I was about to to turn around, when a cold hand touched my arm. I jumped into the air a whirled around to find a familiar face staring at me.
"C . . . Carolyne?" I asked in amazement. There, standing before me was my old lover looking as beautiful as ever. She wore a long, white gown that shimmered like a million diamonds and her hair seemed to blaze like fire in the moonlight. My heart fluttered like thousands, no, millions of tiny butterfly wings. I broke into a huge grin and rapped my arms around Carolyne, twirling her in the air. I was sure that I heard Carolyne laugh as I did so, but I was so drunk on my own happiness,that I could not tell.
When I had finally set her down, I hugged her for a few seconds. Tears of pure joy had started to pour from my eyes and they landed on the back of her white, satin dress. I could feel Carolyne's own tears fall onto my shoulders. Tears that I assumed were happy tears. Boy, was I wrong.
After a few moments, I let go of Carolyne, stepping back until I held her at arms length so I could study her face.
"Carolyne," I said. "I'm so happy your safe, and now that you're here, you can help us fight . . ."
"Zane," she began, cutting me off, "I'm sorry but . . ."
"But what," I asked quietly.
"I . . . I'm . . ." but before she could continue, Carolyne burst into tears. I put my arms back around her, and pulled her into a hug. I let her cry into my shoulder till she ran out of tears. When Carolyne had finished, she stood back up, out of the hug, whipping tears, and started again.
"Zane . . . I'm . . . I'm . . . I'm no longer . . . among the . . . the living."
I stared at her for a long time, not quite believing what I was hearing. Here was Carolyne, standing before me and telling me that she was dead. It didn't make any sense, and the fact that I could touch her without my and going through her body wasn't helping.
"You see Zane, I came from the Elemental Realm. When Caroline took your place as the ninja o ice, I, the real Carolyne, took your place in the Elemental Realm."
I shook my head. It didn't make sense to me. "Then why didn't I see you."
"I was busy," she stated with a small shrug. "And besides, I have a feeling that even if I wasn't busy, they wouldn't of let me see you anyway."
I was about to ask why she would think that, I mean, they seemed pretty nice to me, they did bring be back to life and all, but I decided to let her continue instead. I really wanted to know why she was here. It didn't seem right that she came all this way to tell me she was dead, and I had a strange feeling she was here for a very important reason.
"I might be dead now, but I still have a way to help you. That's why I came here. The council said I can help you this once, but only once. They want the seven to win just as much as I do."
Carolyne reached into the invisible pocket of her dress, and brought out a folded piece of paper. "Here," she said slipping the paper in my hands. I opened it up and quickly read through the list as Carolyne talked. "These are the ingredients for a potion that will cure Lloyd. Noel, Kai's brother is coming, and you're going to need all the help you can get. There's just one problem."
"Yeah, and what's that."
Carolnyne took a deep breath before continuing. "Even though the venom won't take full effect for a few years, around ten to fifteen at the most, but the potion will only continue to effect for a few more weeks before he's too far gone to save."
"Crap. There are a lot of ingredients here. I don't know if we can pull it of."
"Nonsense. Most of the items will be found easily. I'm sure you can do it."
"Most?" I asked. I had a bad feeling that I was not going to be happy with what Carolyne was about to say.
"Yes. Dani should know where all the ingredients are, but a few will be nearly impossible to get your hands on, but that's okay I have trust in you." Carolyne looked up at the sky for a moment, and I could see the tears streaming down her cheeks. "I must go soon, but there's something I want to say first. Zane, I love you."
Before I could answer, Carolyne began to walk away. "I love you too!" I called after her. She turned around, smiled, and waved to me, before disappearing into the night.
I turned back to wear the house should be, and there it was, like It had never left in the first place. I walked toward it, paper in hand, intending to tell my friends the news.

ENTRY NO. 6: Emiko Venomus

LONG AFTER EVERYTHING IS DONE AND OVERWITH

It was a beautiful morning, a kind you didn't get to experience too often. The sun was shining into the bedroom, turning every floating speck of dust into a glinting dreamcatcher of light. Amber rays distorted against the mirror across the room from the bed and turned everything a pale gold. Content as he was, Lloyd sighed and buried his face into his pillow. Couldn't he just lay here, sleep for the rest of his life? Did he have to get up today?

He shouldn't have to. It's not like he was doing anything. No work, no school, no people to save. Yep, it was just a low-key relaxation day of nothing but hang out in a pair of sweatpants, maybe do a few pull ups, call Kai and see what he was up to. There was nothing restricting him from now living his life completely and totally stress free. Life was good.

He felt a hand creep up his bare waist. Oh, yes, it was.

"Good morning," softly mumbled a sleepy voice in his ear. Lloyd couldn't restrict the grin breaking out on his face. She sounded so sluggish that it was cute. He rolled onto his other side so he could face her, supporting his head on his elbow. Her beautiful black lashes fell in full black streaks against her white cheeks, and her long black hair fell across her shoulders and throat like pools of ebony water. He reached out a tentative hand to stroke the fine bones of Seiko Mitsuhide's cheek. Her skin was like a baby's. Soft…newborn.

"Good morning, my love," he murmured softly. He reached with his lips to caress her forehead. Seiko made a noise under his touch. Her arms wrapped gently around his waist, dragging a groggy leg around to hook over his hip. She pulled her ample amounts of bare skin to press against his chest. Lloyd, briefly, was glad for the moment that her eyes weren't open so she wouldn't see the heat spreading across his face.

"Don' go all sof' on meh, Twinkies," she slurred, pressing her face into his chest. "I hate softies."

Lloyd chuckled. "Mmm. Seemed like the one going soft is you."

"Nah." Seiko's mouth connected with his throat, Lloyd's heart began to beat faster. Her lips were softer than the graze of silk against his skin. He tilted back his head to let a tortured moan escape him.

"What," she whispered, curling her gentle hands around his ears, forcing him to look back down at her. "Are you going soft? Are you gonna become a real Twinkie now?" Her tired smile was a reminder of how long they'd strayed last night. Lloyd felt awake, alive, but apparently his lover was completely opposite. He kissed the corner of her mouth.

"You're a handful," he said against her lips. Seiko kissed him, not forgetting to affectionately nibble on his lip. Lloyd opened his mouth and let her sweet tongue collide with his. When their passionate kiss broke, Lloyd was left reliving every moment of last night, the feeling of her…belonging to him…becoming one with each other… He closed his eyes. Who's the kid now? He thought towards Kai, finally able to shed that wretched "kid" title that everyone—especially his best friend—called him. After opening his eyes, Lloyd found Seiko curled against him, her hands tucked against her bare chest like a mummy almost. He smiled. She was sleeping again.

Losing your virginity was tiring work, but this was ridiculous…? He looked at the clock. It was absurd! It was eleven o'clock! How on earth could she still want to sleep? He decided to leave her alone, and kissed her on the forehead one last time. What would he do without her in his life?

As he stood up to take a shower, he turned around to look at her, one last time, wrapped completely in his white bed sheets. She was expended completely by the whole large bed, clutching at his pillow. Such a tiny, frail thing, hidden in the catacomb of my room…

They hadn't said it yet, because Seiko demanded they don't say it if they were going to be together. But Lloyd couldn't help but think it with a huge smile on his face. I love you, you crazy girl, he thought. Always, and forever.

He turned into the bathroom. But the groggy voice, heard above everything else Lloyd would ever hear, was unmistakable. "Next time, try and monitor your thoughts. I think you forget that our Mind's Eyes connect us, mind and body, ya know."

"Got it," Lloyd said from the bathroom. He turned on the showerhead. She just doesn't want to get too attached, said the familiar voice in his head.

'Too attached'? He responded grimly. We had sex. I don't think you can get any more attached than that.

"Oh, and, uh, Twink—I mean, Lloyd?"

Lloyd stepped back into the doorway, raising an eyebrow. Seiko was sprawled elegantly across his bed. Her eyes, bright blue, didn't look tired as she said, "I…I kinda…I…love you too!" She finished quickly. Before she could see his reaction, Seiko burrowed underneath the covers, like saying it was such a difficult task for her. Which, knowing Seiko, it most likely was. But it was the most beautiful thing Lloyd had ever heard. A smile broke out on his face, watching her shrivel, having swallowed her pride, underneath the covers. He couldn't stop smiling the rest of the day, no matter how many times she said it creeped her out. He just couldn't help it.

He couldn't help it at all.
