Author has written 6 stories for Twilight, Supernatural, Avengers, and Vampire Diaries. Me Hello there, I'm SteampunkFairytale! I'm a twenty year old female of Earth, and a hopeful writer to be. I like blueberry pancakes, I read any book I can get my hands on, and my favorite color is green. My absolute favorite book is and always will be The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, closely followed by I Am Number Four. My other favorites mostly include classics like The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Dracula, and so on. I'm also a big fan of Sherlock Holmes and other books of that nature, though I of course love more modern books too. Television wise, I'm a HUGE fan of Firefly (May the demons that cancelled it get eaten by Reavers!) I also like Sherlock, The Vampire Diaries, and of course the modern cult classic that is Supernatural. In the Movie department, I really love the Avengers. Well, honestly I just love super heroes. Another of my favorites is Love Actually, it's just such a sweet feel good movie. Music wise, I'd really listen to anything, though I'm especially fond of 80s Rock, Indie music. My hobbies include Writing, Swimming, Reading, Drawing and Painting. I love Steampunk, as you may have noticed :) it's just so cool. Notes -I never really liked Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan. I mean, she did alright. The Character of Bella Swan was already bland to begin with, and Stewart did a good job of portraying that, but Bella in the movies was just too bland for words. My own take on Bella Swan's character is portrayed by Olivia Thirlby, so that's who you'll be seeing on my covers, unless Stewart or another actress works better for that story. -For those of you that read "A Heaven From Hell's Despair", know that I will start working on the sequel as soon as I finish A Flash of Lightning, and in the meantime I am slowly but surely going over AHFHD with a fine tooth comb. I'll be adding some previously deleted scenes, tweaking a few little details, and all in all making it more polished. -I normally DO take requests, but recently I've become so swamped with both requests and my own ideas that I've closed up shop for a bit. Feel free to give me ideas still, but understand that I might not be able to get to it for a while. -Now don't get me wrong here, I love Fanfiction. I do however often find myself having problems with crossovers. It always seems to me that people are focusing so hard on the joining of two different story universes, that often creative ideas for stories, decent writing, and characterization fall be the wayside. More often than not you see a number of stories, all with the exact same premise, and that makes me more sad than anything. You're a lovely writer with so much potential, don't waste your talent by doing what everyone else is doing. Go off and make something all your own :) My views on Twilight In a word: Terrible. Now, I'm a vampire fan, so I was pretty exited when I first sat down to read it, and as I started it I was still exited, because I saw some potential in it, but as I went on, I started seeing the poor writing, the choppy dialogue, and the incredibly poorly done characters. Bella Swan is a weak minded, selfish fool who has become the biggest setback in the feminist movement since the sandwich. The whole time she's obsessing over Edward, either on finding out what he is, or how perfect he is, it's sickening. Bella Swan is a total Mary Sue, given extreme clumsiness as her only supposed fault, and it's not even a real fault! She's 'plain looking' by her own standards, (I do understand that she's not supposed to see herself clearly) but all the boys pretty much throw themselves at her! I feel that Bella is pretty much a self insert of Stephanie Meyer, in the life she apparently thinks she deserves. And don't get me started on the broody, sissy, overly controlling sparklepire that is Edward Cullen. Just...no. I happen to love Twilight Fanfiction though, it's sort of like it's redemption in my eyes, it had so much potential to be great, and it ended up sucking so terribly. It however leaves many character's development up to the authors, and has a world very easily combined with others for crossovers. And to any 'Twi-Hards' as you apparently call yourselves, who are getting all huffy about my opinion, I don't care, I live in a free country, and I'm entitled to my opinion, if you don't like it, go away. My Stories A Heaven From Hell's Despair: (Bella/Steve) FINALLY COMPLETE! My oldest story on Fanfiction, A Heaven From Hell's Despair has a very special place in my heart, and is by far my most developed story and universe. I could probably write for this particular story'verse for years, and I'm planning on just going until I fizzle out. I have enough material for at least a Trilogy focusing on Bella and Steve's story, possibly more, and ideas for a spinoff story featuring Alice, as well as several little drabbles. I've already started planning the sequel, though I'm still trying to figure out what the name of the Trilogy should be, and I'm open to any ideas you're willing to throw at me :) I'll be going over and editing the story soon, since I feel it needs polishing. However, will be taking a short break before starting the sequel to focus on my other stories, namely What Hurts the Most. A Flash of Lightning: (Bella/Thor) IN PROGRESS The first book in the Queen of the Skies Books, this universe features Bella as Tony's daughter, who gets sent away for her own good to Forks, where SHEILD has a very strong presence. Book 1 takes place during a modified version of both Twilight and Thor, as well as Iron Man to Iron Man 2. I have about 15 chapters planned for this story, before going on to the sequel, which will involve minimal to no Thor, being sort of the New Moon for these stories. Be Careful What You Wish For: (Bella/Tony) IN PROGRESS Adopted from Kactus Wrynn. This is actually the story that inspired me to start writing Avengers/Twilight stories, so when I saw that it was up for adoption, I couldn't resist. This is a New Moon AU where Bella wishes on a star to be in a place where her heart can heal, and ends up in the Marvel Universe. She ends up adopted byan older couple, and get's a job as Tony Stark's cook. The Guide and The Guard: (Bella/Dean) Twilight/Supernatural Crossover All of the secrets of the Supernatural world, mysteries you could only dream of. All kept in a simple little book, with the words "The Guide" as the only indicator as to what it contained. Leaving her old life behind her, Bella Swan decides to follow an ever changing map she found in The Guide. Along the way she meets a certain Hunter, and together they save the world. Set sometime before Eclipse, and pre-season one of Supernatural. What Hurts the Most: (Bella/Damon Endgame, Some Bella/Edward) IN PROGRESS Started as a small oneshot, I decided to continue this, both by request, and by the fact that I feel as if I have more to offer with this story, This is an AU where Bella moved to Forks before the Cullen's arrive, and met Damon before the events of TVD. They both fell in love, but Damon was unable to admit it, leaving Bella with a broken heart. Now, a year later, Damon throws himself back into Bella's life -which is now being threatened by an army of Newborns- and is determined to win her heart back, no matter the cost. Mainly set during Season 3 of TVD, and Eclipse. You Have: One New Message: (Bella/Damon, mild Bella/Edward) Twilight/The Vampire Diaries Crossover Damon occasionally amuses himself by checking out the ludicrous myths that people come up with about Vampires. Bella's finally on track to finding out what Edward and his family are. They meet on a Vampire Lore message board, and quickly grow close. Soon Damon finds himself falling in love again against his will. Small problem: Bella's in love with Edward... right? Set in Twilight just after Bella goes to La Push, and Season One of TVD just after Damon finds out that Katherine wasn't in the tomb. COMING SOON! Through Heaven and Earth: Sequel to A Heaven from Hell's Despair The Crisis had passed, The Battle was over. Steve and Bella were in Heaven, everything was As it Should Be. Two months later, they are abruptly pulled back down to Earth by an unexpected finding, and Bella and Steve are forced to fight for their Heaven. People from the past are resurfacing left and right, relations with the Volturi are becoming strained, and Bella must decide on what she truly wants for her future. The Consultant: Twilight/Avengers Crossover SHIELD finds out about the Supernatural world. Naturally, they 'want to be prepared', so they open up a Paranormal Research and Defense division, assigning their top Agents, Clint Barton and Natasha Romanoff to the division. But wait, they're not trained to fight the Supernatural! In comes Bella Swan, SHEILD's first Paranormal Consultant, but she has an ulterior motive. Can SHIELD help her find the Cullens again? Does she even want to see them anymore? (Bella/Clint) Skies of Grey: Sequel to A Flash of Lightning Book 2 of the Queen of the Skies, this is sort of the New Moon of this series, and will have little to no Thor in it, instead focusing more on Bella's relationship with her family, both biological and those she considers her kin. Expect this to be a short one, though I have no idea specifically how short yet. The Girl Out of Time: Twilight/Avengers Crossover When Bella decided to move in with her father, she expected a life of peace and quiet. Soon after her arrival however, she falls through a crack in time and space being studied by Howard Stark, and ends up in the 1940s. There she meets Steve Rogers, a skinny blonde scrap of a man, and falls in love. (Bella/Steve) |
