I have loved writing for as far back as I can remember. I spend much of my free time letting my fingertips record the crazy stories my brain conjures up. I'm so glad I discovered fanfiction! It's the one place that combines my passion (some might say obsession) for TV with my love of writing.

Chicago Fire got me in this game of making my shows go just where I want them. I loved the early seasons of Fire, and Kelly Severide is my favorite. I'll take the bad boy with the heart of gold every single time. Give me Sawyer over Jack (Lost), Pacey over Dawson (Dawson's Creek), Ben over Noel (Felicity), Riggins over everyone (FNL), Eric over Bill (True Blood), and, more recently, Mario over Angus (Code Black).

So, Chicago Firestarter was born out of my desire to see Severide finally find true love (since the writers don't seem to be headed that way). My favorite pairing is Linseride. I think that Erin and Kelly go together like two slightly screwed up puzzle pieces.

Recently, I created a new pen name, nerdywordgirl, where I will post non-Linseride and non-Chicago Fire stories.

I try to keep the characters true to how they are on TV but put them in total AU situations. And I do love me the good hurt/comfort story.

Two kids and a career keep me busy, but as long as I have an imagination, a laptop nearby, and a current, secret TV boyfriend, I'll be cranking out these little stories! Hope you enjoy them all!
