Hey y'all, I'm Tansy, and this is my profile. I've now made this profile about the one topic I write fanfiction stories about, with a little bit about me at the very end. Anyway, I hope my profile is able to tell you a little bit about who I am. This probably will tell you way more than you need to know about me. Why are you reading this, anyway? Did you read one of my stories and decide to find out more about me? Were you just scrolling through the archive and clicking on usernames just for fun? I get that. It's fun to see what's on different writers' profiles. Note: I don't have any of those "copy and paste" things on my profile. I used to, but there were too many. It annoyed me. Now I have an organized profile. So yeah...let's get on with it. Have fun reading my profile! By the way, I have no sanity left. Just thought I'd warn you.

The Trouble with Rain- (Rated T for minor violence) A young she-cat is born into RiverClan, and quickly learns she isn't like the rest of her Clanmates. She doesn't like the water, she thinks fish are disgusting, she can't swim, and most of all- she dreams of living under trees. When she learns the identity of her father, she vows to leave her Clan in the hopes that his will be a better fit for her, but this unleashes a deadly threat that only she can stop. The Clans must stop and think- does StarClan determine which Clan a cat is born into and they must not question their ancestors' choice, or does that cat have the freewill to choose what Clan she lives in?

One Night is all it Took to Fall in Love- (Rated K, suitable for all ages) Jayfeather and Willowshine have always hated each other. That will never change, right? What if it does? How will their love impact their Clans? One-shot. Serves as a 'stand-alone' or as a prequel to 'The Trouble With Rain.'

One of Us- (Rated T for minor violence) The sequel to 'The Trouble with Rain', this story follows the life of a young apprentice during a dark time for ThunderClan. Something in the forest is picking off cats one by one, and no one can figure out what's happening to their Clanmates. It's up to one ambitious apprentice to solve this mystery and stop these disappearances before all of ThunderClan is gone.

Bramblestar's Letter- (Rated K, suitable for all ages) It took Bramblestar many moons to forgive Squirrelflight for lying about their kits. In this emotional piece, Bramblestar expresses his feelings about the lie in a letter written to the ones he once called his children. One-shot.

Feathers and Leaves- (Rated T for minor violence) In a 'what-if' scenario, this story tells of what could have happened if Feathertail hadn't died. She made it back to RiverClan and helped lead them to their new home, while Crowpaw dealt with his love for her and his growing affection for Leafpaw. Torn between two she-cats, Crowpaw must choose which one he loves the most. When jealousy brings rage to the love triangle, only an act of true love can save the one that deserves it.

Love, Loss, and the Search for a Place Called Home- (Rated T for excessive minor violence and implied unwanted 'deflowering', not suitable for younger readers) A young rogue is born into a life of misery, and she is forced to watch the ones she loves die one by one. Finding herself alone, she sinks into a pit of sadness and bitterness. Her internal anger and depression is stalled briefly, but one death causes her to break, destroying the only lives she could save. She loved, she lost, and she desperately searched for a place to call her home- a place where she'd never lose anyone again.

The Yellowfang and Nightcloud Show- (Rated K plus for some of the topics discussed, suitable for ages 9 and up) Yellowfang started a talk-show and hired Nightcloud as her crazy, annoying co-host. Together they interview characters with family issues, review books and movies, and argue over which one of them has the better son. Spoof.

Win a Date with Nightcloud- (Rated K plus for some very mild violence and humor, suitable for ages 9 and up) After the finale of 'The Yellowfang and Nightcloud Show', Nightcloud started a game show in order to find cute toms to date. In each episode, three toms answer a series of questions, written by the slightly-arrogant Nightcloud, in an attempt to win a date with the hard-to-handle host. Spoof.

The Bizarre Life of Nightcloud and Scourge- (Rated K plus for mild violence, suitable for ages 9 and up) Taking place after 'Win a Date with Nightcloud', the host of the show has settled down with her new mate, Scourge. A collection of one-shots, these stories detail the adventures, accidents, and mayhem that ensue when an insane she-cat marries a totally evil tom. Spoof.

Safe Haven 1: Nightcloud's Refuge- (Rated T for minor violence) Nightcloud is pregnant, and Crowfeather is not the father. Now WindClan is angry with her and Crowfeather is furious. Fearing for her life, she's forced to flee and find a safe place for her kits. ThunderClan has agreed to shelter her, but now they face war with WindClan. Will ThunderClan be willing to harbor a fugitive and fight for her kits or will they send Nightcloud back to WindClan where she and her kits face certain death?

Bumblestripe's Visitor- (Rated K plus for the topics discussed) After Dovewing breaks up with Bumblestripe, his heart shatters and he doesn't know how he'll go on. He just wants to forget that last talk with her ever happened. When a mysterious gray cat appears in his dreams urging him to take revenge, he must consider what this cat is saying. Would he really destroy the lives of everyone Dovewing loves, or will he be content to just let her be happy? One-shot.

Consciences- (Rated K plus for the topics discussed) Tigerstar and Brokenstar both had sisters who died very young. What if those sisters acted as consciences for their evil brothers? Tigerstar has to deal with listening to Mistkit and Nightkit while Brokenstar has to listen to Wishkit and Hopekit as they plan and commit their evil deeds. Four part mini story.

Safe Haven 2: The Heart Wants what it Wants- (Rated T for minor violence.) All Swallowpaw wants to be the best warrior. All Streampaw wants is to be the best medicine cat. When one falls in love with a tom from another Clan, it drives a wedge between the two sisters. The once best friends are now barely speaking to one another. One is torn between loyalty to her Clan and loyalty to her heart. Now she is forced to make a choice, and her sister is forced to accept it or abandon their friendship.

Safe Haven 3: Hidden Truths- (Rated T for minor violence.) Swallowpaw is eagerly awaiting to become a warrior, her crush on Newtpaw all but forgotten. Streampaw continues to excel as Jayfeather's apprentice, impressing all who know her. When a mysterious tom begins visiting their dreams, however, their world is turned upside down and it is impossible to know who they can trust. Should they listen to the tom? Or will he only tell them lies?

Safe Haven 4: Break Free- (Rated T for minor violence). Swallowflight's kits are growing up quickly, with one tom acting as the father and another longing for the day his kits can be together. Swallowflight and Newtclaw make a decision neither are happy with, but are not yet ready to face Rowanstar and Ivystar. A certain tabby tom continues to insist he only wants the best for his daughter. Tensions are rising between two Clans, and if Onestar has his way it will be the end of all four.

My Top 10 Favorite Warriors Characters are:

10. Silverstream (reason: She was sweet, but able to stand up for herself. I view her death as the saddest in the series, with Honeyfern's as a close second.)

9. Ashfur (reason: While I do not support his actions, I do not see him as a true villain. He was a good cat once- it was only his broken heart that shattered the good inside of him. If I were to consider him a true villain, I believe he has the best motive out of all of them.)

8. Ferncloud (reason: She was sweet, kind, caring, and gentle. Even when she did not have kits of her own, she still helped care for the other queens' little ones. She wasn't useless- just not cut out to be a warrior. That's okay. Not every cat needs to fight.)

7. Bluestar (reason: Up until her apparent decline into dementia, she was a good, strong, able leader. She saw what potential Firestar had, and encouraged him to meet that potential. It was only her blindness to Tigerclaw's faults that does not put her higher on my scale.)

6. Squirrelflight (reason: She is fiercely loyal to her sister, even when Leafpool messes up. I do not blame her for Leafpool's idiocy, but do believe she should have told Brambleclaw that she was taking in her sister's kits. Her loyalty is admirable, even though the situation could have been dealt with better.)

5. Hollyleaf (reason: She is not the villain many see her to be. She is loyal to the Warrior Code and has a strong sense of morality. She only wanted to preserve her society's laws. Her parentage is not her fault. She is not to blame for the mistakes of Leafpool and Crowfeather- that is on them alone.)

4. Fireheart (reason: As a warrior, he was noble and heroic. He wanted to solve problems without violence if that was at all possible, yet was willing to fight if it was necessary. He showed that he could be a good leader, and yet once BloodClan was defeated he seemed to be a very weak one at best.)

3. Crookedstar (reason: He is a strong leader with a good heart, and he is able to put aside his pride for the good of his Clan. His love for his brother and mate was dear, and his troubled childhood was tear-jerking. Despite having a rough early life, he turned out to be an excellent leader.)

2. Nightcloud (reason: She does not deserve the hate she gets. Her mate treats her and their son like garbage. She's a good mother, and should be seen as such. Note: This is a very condensed mini-rant. I could have easily made this take up my whole profile. Seriously, I've had Nightcloud rants that lasted over an hour.)

1. Bramblestar (reason: He is not the cat his father was. He has been noble since his apprenticehood, yet has not fallen out of that like Firestar has. He has continued to be a strong leader for his Clan, even when he discovered that the ones he once held dear- his kits- were not truly his. I do not blame him for taking so long to forgive Squirrelflight. That was too big of a secret to be kept, and the news would have been devastating. While it did take him a long time, he did finally forgive her, and he never stopped caring for his sons.)

My Top 10 Least Favorite Warrior Characters are:

10. Tigerclaw (reason: Redtail. Cinderpaw. Runningwind. Swiftpaw. Brindleface. Bluestar. Gorsepaw. Every death in the battle with BloodClan. Every death in the Great Battle. Need I say more?)

9. Lizardstripe (reason: She is one of the worst mothers in the series. It should not matter that Brokenkit was not biologically hers. She should have been willing to take him in and give him as much love as all of her other kits. A real mother cares for all children, not just her own.)

8. Sandgorse (reason: It is fine to hope that one day your child will carry on the family tradition. It is another thing to pressure them into doing it. Fathers should encourage their children to follow the path that fits them the best. Tallstar was not meant to dig tunnels, and Sandgorse just could not accept that.)

7. Millie (reason: While feeling an overwhelming desire to keep your injured daughter safe is reasonable, neglecting your other children is not. Her love for Briarlight never wavered, yet she made Blossomfall feel belittled and unwanted. No parent should ever love one child more than another, no matter if they are disabled or not.)

6. Rainflower (reason: She's pretty much the opposite of Millie. When one of Millie's kit became disfigured, she put Briarlight up on a pedestal while neglecting Blossomfall and Bumblestripe. When Stormkit became disfigured, it was like he didn't exist to Rainflower. She only loved Oakkit- her perfect kit. Both mothers are equally horrible, in my opinion.)

5. Thistleclaw (reason: He preferred bloodshed to peace. He may have been kind to Snowfur, but she was the only one who saw his gentle side. He was rough on his son and refused to allow Bluestar to care for Whitekit. He may not be evil, but his is aggressive and a very unlikable character. His personality makes him hard to tolerate.)

4. Darkstripe (reason: He couldn't be loyal to anyone. He should have been loyal to ThunderClan, but even after he joined TigerClan, he felt little loyalty to them. He fought on BloodClan's side during the battle, which cost him his life. He also tried to murder an innocent kit, which make his sentence to the Dark Forest justifiable. Attempting to murder a kit is unforgivable.)

3. Breezepelt (reason: He is a jerk. This may be in part to genes he inherited from his father, because Jayfeather displays the same grumpiness. He differs from his half-siblings, however, because he turned on the Clans during the Great Battle, fighting for the Dark Forest. Crowfeather may be a terrible parent, but Breezepelt's decision to be a traitor was all on him. He made that choice on his own.)

2. Leafpool (reason: She is irresponsible and cannot face the consequences of her actions. It is one thing to make a mistake. It is another to hide from that mistake. She was not big enough to admit that Firestar's little princess had messed up. It would have been expected from Squirrelflight, who had a history of not being perfect. Leafpool's decision to hide the truth hurt more than just herself or her children. Crowfeather hadn't been told he had kits in ThunderClan. Brambleclaw didn't know he was not the kits' real father. Squirrelflight suffered for moons wishing Brambleclaw would forgive her. All of this happened because Leafpool could not take responsibility for her actions. Note: This is a very condensed mini-rant. I could have made this much longer.)

1. Crowfeather (reason: The way he treats Nightcloud is despicable. He never loved her- he used her. He needed to have WindClan kits in order to prove he was loyal to his Clan. Nightcloud, unfortunately, was willing to give him what he needed. She was just an object that he could manipulate for his own personal gain. This objectification is what puts him at the top of 'My Most Hated Characters'. He treats Nightcloud like garbage. He treats their son like garbage. He never should have taken a WindClan mate. He was never going to love anyone the way he loved Leafpool. Note: This is a very condensed mini-rant.

Tansy's Favorite Warrior Shippings

Firestar and Sandstorm- I love how Sandstorm didn't like him at first, but after he saved her life in Fire and Ice she began to see him as a true warrior rather than a kittypet. They've been one of my favorite couples since I began reading the series.

Graystripe and Silverstream- They're like Romeo and Juliet, but better.

Bramblestar and Squirrelflight- Sure, they've had some ups and downs, but that's part of the reason why I like them together. They aren't that sappy sweet couple that has no issues whatsoever. And the problems they have had, they've eventually been able to work through them and it's made their relationship stronger.

Cloudtail and Brightheart- Seriously, his devotion to Brightpaw/Lostface in A Dangerous Path was incredibly sweet and adorable.

Dustpelt and Ferncloud- They were just...sweet. Dustpelt's not known for being sweet, but Ferncloud really brought that out in him.

Crowfeather and Leafpool- Okay, I hate them both as characters, but I like them as a couple. I see Leafpool as Crowfeather's one true love. Feathertail was his childhood crush. Nightcloud was his reputation repair-girl. Leafpool was the only she-cat he was ever meant to be with.

Tansy's Least Favorite Warrior Shippings

Shellheart and Rainflower- Okay, so I mostly just don't like Rainflower. She doesn't deserve Shellheart. Or anybody, for that matter.

Graystripe and Millie- To be honest, I originally did like Millie. I thought it was good that Graystripe had finally moved on. Silverstream had been dead for a couple years, and he deserved to be happy. Then Briarlight had her accident, and Millie changed. I hate how Millie treats Briarlight like an angel but neglects her other kits. If I were Graystripe, I'd dump Millie for how she treats our children.

Ashfur and Squirrelflight- I like both characters, but not together. Ashfur would have been a good mate for anyone else, but not Squirrelflight. He was like water to her fire. He would have quelled every (not so) brilliant idea Squirrelflight had. With a fiery temper like hers, she needed a mate who'd jump into action with her, not try to soothe her and talk her out of acting. Ashfur was too nice and gentle for her (up until she dumped him, that is). Bramblestar was the cat she needed to end up with.

Dovewing and Tigerheart- The forbidden love idea has been over used. By the time we got to these two, it was just dry. There was no emotion. Tigerheart had no personality at all. It just didn't work.

Dovewing and Bumblestripe- Dovewing just isn't a cat who needs a mate. She seems to have gotten stuck at a pre-teen level of maturity. She just never grew up and matured. Bumblestripe deserves better than a whiny she-cat who complains about everything.

Daisy and Spiderleg- What was that??? A one night stand? There was no connection. It seemed like the authors thought "We need more kits. What she-cat currently doesn't have any? Daisy. Okay, what tom can we pair her with...uh, Spiderleg? Yeah, that'll work."

Crowfeather and Nightcloud- Uh, can I just beat him with a cinder block? He never loved Nightcloud. Crowfeather's reputation was in the garbage, and the only way he was going to get it back was if he had legal kits. Nightcloud was just some available she-cat who wanted children and was easy to manipulate. Crowfeather doesn't love her, and he's not going to. As I said earlier, she was nothing more than a reputation repair-girl. Do I blame her for being an over- protective helicopter parent? No. Crowfeather hasn't ever shown their son any love. Nightcloud has to love Breezepelt enough for both parents. Crowfeather's a jerk. That's all he's ever going to be.

Tansy's Favorite Crack Shippings

Nightcloud and Scourge- I know that Scourge would never be able to feel love, and would most likely never take a mate. Nightcloud's already ended up with one rotten jerk as a mate, why not have another?

Ivypool and Hawkfrost- Actually, I could see him with any she-cat. He's the fabulous villain.

Brokenstar and Hollyleaf- With Brokenstar's ambition and evil desire to take over the world and Hollyleaf's love of the Warrior Code, I could see them attempting to conquer the planet together. One would just want to be leader and make the cats his slaves, and one would enforce their legal code. They would be unstoppable.

Mousefur and Longtail- Why did they never happen? I shipped them way back in 2005!

Blackstar and Russetfur- Again, why did this never happen? They would have been a great couple.

You Know You're a Book Addict If:

You can randomly open to a page and know exactly what's going on.

You read the book until 4 A.M., then get back up at 7 to continue reading.

You try to get all of your friends (and everyone else) to read your favorite books.

You accidentally call everyone by the character's names.

Everything reminds you of the book.

You quote random lines all the time.

You try to do things that the characters do, even though you know you can't.

You've gotten incredibly bored in class, and debated on doing something your favorite character can do to escape the class.

You have pictures of your favorite characters on your iPod.

You've got a book basically memorized.

You've read a book more than five times.

You've read a book with 400 pages in less than two days.

You hate it when someone calls your favorite character fictional.

Warriors Have Taught us These Things

Violence doesn't solve all problems, but it does solve some. And they should be solved very violently.

Cats can have accents.

Old people are funny.

If your girlfriend dies, the default response is to sleep with her sister.

No matter how right you are, you're still wrong in some way.

Your logic doesn't have to make sense if you're angry enough.

Killing your half-brother solves all of your problems for 6-12 months.

Having fangirls gives you the right to do virtually anything without being considered evil.

There are no limits to how you can kill your own brother, half-brother included.

Casual racism is socially acceptable. More severe racism is less approved of, but still allowed. Only outright genocide crosses the line.

Most children in southern England will squeal when they see a cat.

Good is cute, maybe handsome; Evil is sexy.

Highly organized colonies of feral cats have been living in the English countryside for over 60 years without being noticed by anyone.

Cats are really good at cleaning up massive bloodstains.

When I'm really bored, I like to watch Max and Ruby. It's the only little kids' show I like, and I spend most of my time over-analyzing it. (Ever wondered where their parents are?)
