Hello, everyone! You can call me Grandmaster4, Grandmaster, or Kyle. I live in the state of Minnesota, and I've always had a passion for stories. I'd read any book I could get my hands on when I was younger, and not much has changed since. I run Track-and-Field and Cross-Country at my school, a small place with about a hundred students in each grade. I've recently begun to be obsessed with the game of chess, hence my pen name.

My current story is a Percy Jackson fanfiction set twenty years after the events of Heroes of Olympus called Apple of Discord. The story follows a number of different demigods and demititans as they embark on a quest to recover an ancient artifact that could decide the fate of their world. This will be my first fanfiction, but I sincerely hope people will at least read it before judging that last statement. I've heard nothing but good things from it so far. I update every Sunday, so readers that don't have an account have an idea when to look for new chapters. CURRENTLY ON HIATUS.

I'm also the proud author of The Guide: Fanfiction 101 for New Writers and Old Experts Alike. The Guide is an effort by myself to help writers find their voice and improve their skills. It will explore every aspect of the writing process here at Fanfiction, and I thoroughly hope everyone who reads it takes something meaningful out of it.
