![]() Author has written 2 stories for Wreck-It Ralph, and How to Train Your Dragon. Not much to say about myself, really. Adult. Male. Glasses. I perfected the nerd look before it became popular. Of course, I have no idea how popular it is now, I'm just too lazy to change it. Besides, it's impossible to find jeans in a 29x36 anymore. I suppose I would be called an introvert. There's only a handful of people I've hung out with in my entire life. Those few, however, are great people. We have backed each other up whenever necessary. I've learned to sail, had a motorcycle until I couldn't afford it, and I am a computer tech. I started writing fan fiction some years ago. My early stuff is lost on sites no longer in existence. I love animated features because I can ignore reality more. When you watch live action, sometimes you have trouble with 'suspension of disbelief'. You think; "There's no way a car can do that!", or "I know that pistol can't possibly hold that many bullets!". But in animated fantasy films, you know it isn't real, and you know they ignore the laws of physics, or nature itself. You can just enjoy it for sheer escapism. Doing things that aren't pretending to be real is the norm. I'm kind of a 'fill-in-the-blanks' guy. I watch a movie, and sometimes I see a five-second clip, and build a whole story in my mind around it. It grows until I have to do something, and that's why I write it down. I'm currently working on two stories. It's because I had so much I was thinking about, I needed to get it down before I forgot it. Eventually, those notes became another story. I will try not to upset the readers with too much delay. Thanks. Oh... "How many Microsoft engineers does it take to change a light bulb?" "None. They just make dark the new standard." |
