Author has written 17 stories for Super Smash Brothers, Kingdom Hearts, Tetris, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Mario. 12/14/11 Damn, a year? Seriously? I'm starting to think something's wrong with me. So what happened since last year? Besides turning 21 (woo), I got a cat named Oreo that refuses to stop being cute. I also got a PS3 that broke 4 times. Then I got another PS3 that is on its second spell of not working. I saw HD gaming for the first time a week or two ago. I got ink cartridges for my printer, a new fancy HTC phone, small books that can be written and/or drawn in, a bank account, Netflix, a Facebook account, a wireless router and a subscription to Game Informer that I didn't really want. And I got new shorts. Basically, I haven't been doing much. A lot of my time has been spent getting stuff, looking for stuff, looking at stuff, playing stuff or looking for work...and stuff. I did write things, although they're very brainstormy things for games I want to make. And I wrote maybe a page of The Seven Smash Spirits, which I'm still trying to finish. I even sketched something that one time (also related to one of the games I want to make). Very recently I started beta reading again, so you can guess why I came back. Just letting y'all know I'm still here. For whatever that's worth. 10/7/10 Turned 20 yesterday. Yes. Recently, I've been beta reading a Smash fic. I completely forgot about that feature, and I was 2 weeks late in responding, but I think it's going well so far. It's surely a motivator. On that note, good news! The Seven Smash Spirits is making progress! Chapter 17 just hit 1,000 words, which, knowing me, is the halfway point. So yeah, more action hopefully coming soon. Don't know whether I'm making only 3 parts or 4. Maybe 5. Depends on how many ideas I get. 7/27/10 So I have good news and bad news. The bad news is that I'm TOTALLY STUCK in The Seven Smash Spirits. As soon as I figure those two things out I can just flow like I always do. The good news is...uh... 4/14/10 I graduate with an Associate's in June, and all my classes are done. Badass. That's...yeah, that's it. 3/20/10 All focus has shifted to finishing Seven Smash Spirits (first story and all). I'll be honest, I have no idea what I'm gonna do after that. Make new shit or try to finish the rest of the old shit? And Fits of Boredom is just sitting there, beckoning... ...Spring! 12/16/09 LOE: TG2 finally got updated today. It's practically filler, but it's something. So, what's after this? Let's see...I bet it'll be Fits of Boredom, I can just feel it. 10/17/09 It's been over a year since I started editing my old fics. Time is fun. Also, I'm 19 now. LOE: TG2 is coming along slowly...but if you really wanna, you can check out my YouTube channel and sift through my 1300+ favorites. 8/30/09 Talk about a come-from-behind victory. Turns out that neither of the previous two fics had their tie broken. In fact, somehow, a new challenger appeared and utterly destroyed the competition. Some people really wanted LOE: TG2 to get an update. Some people are sick, depraved individuals. Sweet! Looks like that one's getting updated first then. As for when, well... 8/17/09 You guys aren't gonna believe this. Well, not until I tell you. That tie-breaking vote I spoke of half a month ago? Yeah, that just spawned another tie, so now I need another tie-breaking vote to break the new tie. Yummy. The tie is between Celebrity Interviews (which really needs the update) and Fits of Boredom (of which a new chapter can be excreted with about 6 minutes of thinking and at least an hour and 15 minutes of typing). I'm tempted to flip a coin and just get to it, but that's not how a real man works. A real man lets everyone else make all the decisions. That's what Christmas is all ab- whoa, tangent. 7/31/09 Hi. Um, I do still plan on writing something later, but I've hit a bit of a snag already. Namely, the poll result is a four-way tie (there were only 4 voters lol). That means that the next thing I write will be decided on the next tie-breaking vote. Whenever that will be. This profile isn't very publicized... Just letting you guys know. 6/25/09 The Seven Smash Spirits and This Is The Life are up to snuff. Especially the former. When you write something for like 6 years it's easy to see where you screwed up. The latter still looks promising, even more so since Brawl. SO. This means I'm...back? The next update is nigh. At least I think so. 5/15/09 The PIE Chronicles 2 has been fixed for format inconsistency. And some other things. Princess Bride: SE is next up. EDIT: Princess Bride: SE has been fixed. I forgot how "good" it was. No worries. It will pick up on originality later on. Seven Smash Spirits is next-to-last. 4/25/09 The PIE Chronicles has been run through. I can safely say that it is my favorite story. It even beats out SSBU and Run Marth, Run!, its main competition. Maybe because it has 9 chapters and 9 is my favorite number? Hmm. In any case, its sequel is next up. 4/24/09 12 Days has been run through. Funny. As retarded as that fic is, there were only a few minor errors. Well, grammatical ones. So. Because it is almost 11:30 PM now, The PIE Chronicles' fixing up will be posted around tomorrow. Oh, one more thing. I don't know why polls aren't shown in profiles by default, but the one I made a few days ago is public now. Rock it. The vote, I mean. But if you can rock something else, feel free. 4/22/09 SSBU has been run through. I'm starting to think Ri2's suspicions were right. But that doesn't mean I'm not going to try to finish it. Oh, 12 Days of Christmas: Smash Bros. Remix is next on the list. 4/8/09 Run Marth, Run! has been run through and fixed up. Next up is the hardcore SSBU. 4/5/09 Luigi's Other Experiment, LOE: TG2, M-I-X, and Reminisce have been cleared of errors ranging from inconsistency to a gross untruth. Run Marth, Run! is next on the list. When this whole thing is over, I think I'll start working on a new chapter or two. 2/26/09 MINOR UPDATE: results for the unpopular poll I started, basically titled "Should I blah blah blah keep going" are in. There were 8 unique voters over a 6-month period. 4 said yes, 2 said take your time, 1 didn't give a shit, and 1 thinks I suck ass. So that means, assuming it wasn't that one person with an actual account to give me a negative, non-flaming review (Luigi's Other Experiment: Test Group 2), there's someone else out there that doesn't enjoy at least 1 of my fics. Kickass. I gotta think of a new one... Luigi's Experiment is now cleared of all tense-related errors. And the other ones, too. Oh, and consider this a little apology for not doing jack since the summer. SNEAK PREVIEW! SSBU CHAPTER 13: LUIGI VS. ESPIO Shadow Mario and Peach rematerialized at Final Destination. The majority of the platform was silent, with rogue murmurs present. Bowser Jr.'s alter ego was definitely impressive on the battlefield. His very existence, at that moment, was impressive by itself. But his impressiveness did not incite the lack of sound (well, most of it). Peach lost. Embarrassingly. "I'm...good?" Bowser Jr. said, astounded. He watched Shadow Mario barely move from the point of materialization. He seemed to want to disassociate with everyone on the platform. "Wonder whose side he's on," Dante quipped to himself. "I didn't see that coming at all," Banjo said to no one. Peach, sullen, walked dejectedly over to her friends and sat in her spot. Daisy scooted over, providing room to sit, and hugged her. A pair of royal failures embraced each other in silence. Shadow Mario watched them from 20 feet away with red eyes, uncaring, waiting, longing. Bowser Jr. and his dad were still puzzled. And a very obvious question lingered in the air for the full five minutes it took for Master Hand's return. What would Shadow Mario wish for? "Looks like Shadow Mario moves on to the next round," Master Hand announced upon arrival. "We didn't even need to go through that. That was just too good." Silence. At least fifteen of the fighters felt a powerful urge to hurt the hand. "Maybe the next fight will be more even. Luigi vs. Espio." The two rose at the same time. Mario hit the back of his brother's knee. "Hey, if you win this, it'll be the Mushroom Kingdom's first victory! You can do it!" Mario said, smiling, projecting humongous pressure. Luigi glanced at the chameleon, who was already moving toward the center, and quickly followed suit. Baby Luigi threw in some last-minute cheers. "The randomly selected stage was Rainbow Road Generations. Are you two ready?" Espio nodded swiftly and fiercely. Luigi nodded comparatively slowly and with noticeably less ferocity. The two vanished. (Rainbow Road Generations takes after Mute City in the sense that it takes place on a platform (large, rainbow, and translucent) that floats around and above the track. But it differs in the sense that the platform warps to the different Rainbow Roads throughout "history". From Super Mario Kart to Mario Kart DS, the battle occurs on varying versions of the notorious final track.) Luigi and Espio appeared on their respective platforms. The larger platform below them was translucent and cycled the entire color spectrum. Luigi liked it. Espio thought it was showy. "Ready?" The two landed. A slight twinkle. "GO!" SNEAK PREVIEW OVER. (The thing that took me so long to be unstuck with this one was Brawl. In the end, and after playing the ever-loving crap out of it, I've decided to write this story as if Brawl hadn't even been announced yet. I can say with confidence that it won't be read the same way...) I'm not dead dammit, I swear. ETERNAL Smasher won't go down so easily. |
