![]() Author has written 6 stories for Inheritance Cycle, Haikyu/ハイキュー, Avengers, My Hero Academia/僕のヒーローアカデミア, and Black Panther. Hey! My former pen name was Yaela Svit-kona. Call me Yaela :) I'm Indian (Mallu, if you're curious) and I'm seventeen or thereabouts. I believe humans are a plague on this beautiful planet, I think I can sing but I'm probably fooling myself, and in my opinion a story without proper punctuation or grammar has reached only half of its potential. I'm a betareader and would love to provide you with a second opinion, if you'd like one. Feel free to PM me anytime. :) (Actually feel free to PM me about anything. I'd love to make more fandom friends :D) If you're reading my story, kindly do review. You can even flame, if you hate it. I would like to improve as much as I can, as a writer, and every scrap of feedback I receive definitely helps. I also reply to reviews quite fast, so long as you don't post as an anonymous guest, in which case I can't (which is IMMENSELY FRUSTRATING, because I very much want to reply to you personally and convey my thanks!). A tip for new writers on the site - unfortunately there is an annoying tendency for the site to swallow bits of your work when it is uploaded. I'd advise you to go back and check your new chapter/story within a day or two of putting it up (not in the Doc Manager, check the story itself), to make sure readers are seeing what you actually wanted them to see. Readers, it would be great if you could notify me of typos or missing words in case I missed correcting anything. I am on AO3 as well, but I joined recently, so there's much more of my work over here. Crossposting is in progress. I also have a Tumblr under the same name. The Tumblr was created even more recently and I have practically NO CONTACTS and am very lonely, so this is a shameless attempt to direct some semblance of traffic to the page - snippets and omakes for A Shoukder To Lean On (quite a few are already there) or any other work in progress, or basically just any short and sweet interaction I want to write, will be posted there. Not here, along with the actual story, which would be much easier for you, Kind Reader. (I'm desperate, okay?) The Inheritance Cycle is one of my favourite series, and it was the series that motivated me to start writing fanfiction. Favourite writers - Christopher Paolini, Terry Pratchett, Isaac Asimov (Just the best.) and the inimitable Georgette Heyer. Also, like I said last time I updated this, a few months away from being sixteen I started watching Fairy Tail. That sadly set me on the unescapable path of anime. I've lost count of all the series I've watched since, and have grown to love the Japanese language.(Seriously, my thoughts sometimes bring in Japanese words now. It's some kind of weird conditioning. A psychologist should research this - how listening to a language causes it to seep into your brain. Probably a social adaptation or something. Or maybe not. I don't know psychology.) I'm definitely going to learn it one day. And ride the shinkansen! Yeah, this is how Japan's going to take over the world. With the power of manga and anime. (IT'S NOT EVEN A JOKE THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING THIS IS HOW WEABOOS ARE BEING CREATED THERE'S A GODDAMN ARMY COMING) Ahem. Well, that's all I've got to say! My apologies for rambling. I hope you enjoy my work! . (Oh, for new readers, a list of fics you absolutely HAVE to read - OUT!, by TheHaruWhoCanRead, from the Haikyuu fandom, pretty much everything by KuriKuri on AO3 (she's written a wonderful selection for BNHA, you can take your pick), and Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality, by Less Wrong. This list will be updated whenever I come across a completed fic so good that I have to scream its name to the world.) A note - the images for my stories have been taken from Google Images, and I'm aware that people may not want their art or images to be downloaded and used by a random stranger. Credits appear here, but if you still don't want me using your images, inform me and I'll remove them at once.
