AU: Set in Season 8, inspired by the romantic comedy 'The Proposal', in which April is a Canadian citizen about to be deported and seeks Jackson's help in order to keep her Visa status in the U.S. Then things change and they eventually realize the fake married life is not that easy when feelings are involved.

Unbeknownst to anyone, least of all Jackson, (who is trying to take his mind off her) an injured April is trapped in the basement of the Southern Wing of the hospital when the ceiling collapses in on it because of the storm.

When April gets an eyeful of Jackson and Stephanie at Bailey's wedding, she gets comfort from an unlikely source. How will Jackson handle the budding relationship between his ex-best friend/ex-lover and Alex Karev?

Jackson finds himself in a no-win situation. Leave it to his best friend April to find him a way out. Eventual Japril.

Moments we didn't get to see on the show.

Set after 8x12 - "Hope for the Hopeless". April Kepner has never been the girl that got noticed, so what happens when two men start chasing after her? AK2 vs. Japril. Please R&R!

After a tragic event everyone is trying to come back from what happened, some are staying the same some are moving on. In the process of moving on will there be an even worse tragedy? Will everyone end up where they are suppose too? Will Jackson and April end up together? Or will they survive the tragedies that lie ahead?

Jackson and April found out they've got a baby on the way. How will they deal with their new life? - rated M in some chapters.

Future Fic. Jackson's father, the junior Harper Avery, shows up unexpectedly at Grey-Sloan Memorial and turns the the worlds of Jackson, April and Catherine upside down. Set sometime after season 10.

Set mid-season 8. "Jackson Avery was seeing red. He tried to convince himself it was just a glitch, a side effect from staring at his red headed best friend for the majority of the evening.
