It has been nearly two years since Holly left for San Francisco, Gail is now a detective and her life has regained some normalcy even if her parents no longer speak to her. A chance meeting at a conference throws everything into chaos. There is crime to deal with too.

So when her classmates assume she was handed her badge on day one of training, what will it take to prove herself.

Gail has a hard time trusting, but when reality threatens to knock her down once more all she can do is hope that Holly will be there to catch her.

It really takes a lot to push Holly over the edge. Gail, it seems, has a special talent for it.

Gail aged 21 and Chris aged 23 are a couple. Already being together for over a year Chris has to move for 12 months from Toronto to Ottawa to study psychology in order to become a detective.
