Please know this is the LAST time I am changing my penname. I had a tendancy of changing names... must figure out how to control that... LOL. Anyway, my name's Melissa, often called "Mel" for short. My brother made the nickname up, and it just stuck. It also went into play when I started getting interested in the actor Mel Gibson, so it became a routine. I'm also 16 years old ( just turned it a month ago -- April 12, 2007! YAW!) so I'm not quite where I want to be when it comes to writing. I do, however, have every intention of becoming one, if I can do it. I don't have the greatest confidence in myself. Anyway, enough of that...

I usually, due to school, have a hard time updating fanfictions - but I try my best. The only time I really have to update is the weekends, so usually, that's when updates are expected. My problem is that I keep getting these ideas that I have to immediately write down or at least plan out before I lose them - when I get an idea for something, I have to do it, but that doesn't mean I HAVE to complete it - however, in fanfiction cases, I try to complete stories, which I'm really going to try to do. I've completed a few already, so maybe I'll force myself to get the others done.

I like a lot of music, too much, in fact, all of it being rock, too. Some of my more favorite bands are: Three Days Grace, Three Doors Down, Hinder, KillSwitch Engage, Linkin' Park, Evanescence, and a lot more.

I love all of the Harry Potter books, but right now, my favorite quote is from Half-Blood Prince:
