![]() Author has written 13 stories for Evangelion, and Dungeons and Dragons. Nationality: American Gender: Male Please select my race from the following options: The reasons why the cool members of my family believe I'm weird: Evangelion Things I have to sit down and watch no matter what I'm doing. Sorry, son...that transfusion will just have to wait, so long as you're not peeing blood. Oh, you are. King Kong (1933) Questions posed in reviews will be addressed on the back of a napkin painted with coffee and tortured watercress; Farmackenzie always whipped cream into their omelets, and Martin always seemed to pull the waitress with the ginger braid and rosy dimples. But not all was well. "That's not how you spell 'wale'," he muttered between sips of his Gibraltar. Current Project: The De facto answer is still The Silent Night After the Party. Somehow. Update (4-8-2011): So...about that. My hard drive crashed last summer. I convinced myself I didn't care, which was better than admitting I spent the previous eight months off and on shaping the second chapter of TSNAtP into something I can really be proud of. I think everyone says that about what they're currently working on, but fact is I wanted it to be what I go out on. So I was taking my time. And I didn't take the advice I give to anyone who's doing anything of any importance on a computer: create a backup. So I can't even say I learned a lesson. Knowing I was trying my best and effectively lost eight months of work because I didn't do the practical, sane thing? I think I'll call that compound discouragement. I still have the damaged hard drive, by the way--it's sitting on my dresser drawer. The damage to the drive is physical, and, in the Disney version of this universe, salvageable after weeks of antiseptic dissassembly and reassembly. So could I still get it all back? Was Han Solo frozen in carbonite? I suppose after all this time, I could have rewritten everything I had lost and kept on rolling. The thought would make me want to take a walk outside. Because I don't roll; I drag tills through permafrost. Never say never, but...you know. I'm sorry, everyone. Next Project: TBD |
