Author has written 14 stories for Rise of the Guardians, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Kane Chronicles, Young Justice, Voltron: Legendary Defender, and Guardians of Childhood series. Writerly here. Me and my sister, Inqueling, made this account to share. All this stuff down here is about me though. Some of it may apply to Inqueling, but then again she's my twin so we have a lot in common. Inqueling will always tell you what stuff is hers and what stuff is mine (she's really good at that...) so you don't have to worry about who's whose and what's what. Her life was a book of her own writing, one orderly page after another. ~ Based on William Joyce, the author of the Guardians of Childhood and The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore I used to think fan fiction was dumb... Until I started reading it. I used to think I could never write fan fiction... Until I got an idea for one. I used to think that crossovers were dumb... Until I started writing one. If past me found out what future me was doing, she would probably deny knowing me... 'Ello, 'ello, 'ello! Since I have so many people followin' me, I figured, "Hey! I should let them know who the heck they're followin' in case they want to run away screaming!" I am that person laughing randomly to herself in the middle of the night. I am the girl who rides in the shopping cart yelling, "Onwards, ho!" I am the kid who walks out with at least 8 books every library visit. I am the stranger who stares at you wondering if you'd make a great book character. I like to think that I'm funny. Half the time, when my friends talk to me, they get lost. I can rant for hours about superheroes. I love dragons. Can I work for Dreamworks? Please, please, please? Oh, and I ramble. That might be why my friends don't understand me half the time. These are my beliefs: I don't believe in using foul language. I don't write anything that would merit an M rating. I don't write anything against the sixth commandment (Thou shalt not commit adultery) I'm against writing romance between two people of same gender. I'm not against the people themselves and I believe everyone should be treated with love and respect. I have been raised to respect everyone. If you find anything in my writing that comes across as being against any of these beliefs, please tell me. I do write really random things. They are the products of my brain and my brain, as I may have mentioned, is a very strange place. Very strange. Do not, I beg of you, do not ask my favorites of anything. Unless a.) you're sitting down and won't be bothered for about an hour or b.) you're trying to win a bet on how long a person can rant. If it's an animated movie, I've probably seen it at least twice. If it's Disney or Dreamworks, not only have I seen it more than twenty times. I could probably quote the movie word for word and act out the scenes. I'm not exaggerating! Okay, maybe a little. The only genres I do not read are Horror and Romance. A horror romance is the thing of nightmares. I will list some of the authors and books that I love, no favorites: Cornelia Funke (Thief Lord is an amazing book and I like the Inkheart trilogy) Rick Riordan (Ricky boy, we'll pretend like those crossover books you wrote never happened. I like the Kane Chronicles more than Percy Jackson! If you want to ship me to Tartarus, good luck, I'm hidin' in the Duat.) The Girl Who Could Fly (I love this book. Wouldn't it just make a great movie?) WILLIAM JOYCE!!! (*squeal* The man who inspired Rise of the Guardians! He is an amazing writer. The Guardians of Childhood series are so so so so good.) Hope was Here (Hope. I seriously considered that name for a pen name. She has to be up there in my top ten favorite characters) Gail Carson Levine (You taught me to give stories a new twist.) Madeline L'Engle! (Hands-down in my top ten books and authors. I have no words on how to describe how good her books are.) Isaac Asimov (King of the robots. I love his short stories.) Like I said, I could go on for hours. I love love love to read. Story Info: The Trouble With Turkeys: This particular story is finished, but I'm thinking about writing more stories with Twig. You're Gonna Be Fine, I Promise: This one is also complete, but I'm trying to write a prequel for Death and Grief (it's in progress, so I can't make any promises. O.o unintended pun) Felix Fun: If you have any ideas, PM me! I'm taking suggestions, ideas, requests. Can't make any guarantees, but if I like it, you'll be sure to see it! Akh-Wan: Not a solangelo, folks! Mkay, with that out of the way, if you have any ideas, requests, or suggestions, again, PM me! Same message as above pretty much. I will seldom post a story that I have not already finished (unless it's a one-shot or a group of one-shots. So far, The Trouble With Turkeys has been the only exception to this rule) It makes me uncomfortable because what if my creativity dribbles out?! You'll all think I'm dead or something! Anyways, it makes me scared, so I don't do it. |
