About me

Why you'd want to know about me is beyond me but if you're interested, here is some info without giving too much away. I'm in my late 20s and have been on fanfic for over 15 years. I've written (and rewritten and deleted) fics with varying success. Some of the fanfic writers who I take inspiration from are Gravidy and Rizzle, both of whom write/wrote incredible fictions within the Dramione fandom and have shown/continue to show writers how far you can go with your creativity and writing prowess.

Some real world info about me: I've lived in 6 countries, speak 2 languages fluently and "speak" 4 others. I recently got into a master's program and I'm super excited to travel to a part of the world I've never been to before!

By reading my fics you can probably guess what my profession is :P and what I'll be studying.

I've always loved writing and my first foray into writing, as I'm sure it was for many others, was through fanficky! I'm an avid Dramione shipper and occasionally read other fics.

Termination by Mutual Agreement

This is my first multi-chaptered fic. I can't express how excited I am to write it. I've been plotting it for over a year now and it is going to be extensive, complete with romance (obvi), sabotage, betrayals, backstories, politics, violence and an insurmountable history that threatens the foundation of Draco and Hermione's relationship.

The version posted on fanfic will not contain any explicit sexual content but will contain some implied things. If you want to read the more adult-y version, check out my fic on AO3.

I feel like there is a lot of unknown racial history about the wizarding world and I want to explore this through Draco and Hermione's relationship. I think that a world where it is commonplace to consider blood purity, and where racial slurs like 'mudblood' are thrown around casually, there has to definitely be some sort of divisive and complicated political system informed by the society.

Another thing is I'm hoping to introduce some original characters. I feel like the beautiful wondrous world of Harry Potter has many incredible characters but that there are definitely more people than just the few we are acquainted with. What about people from different backgrounds? What about wizards from ancient bloodlines in other countries. What do they do with their magically disabled (squibs)? There has to be more diversity than the people from the families we know and who went to Hogwarts. I felt like it was a good way to introduce some diversity and maybe even use original characters to build a backstory narrative.

I wanted to infuse a little of myself into this so you will probably be able to guess both my profession and my ethnicity through this fic. Double points if you do!

On the topic of bad language

I've had a few readers complain about the bad language in the fic. I considered changing it but I decided against it. I want to characters to ring true to their nature and in my fic, Draco swears...a lot. Hermione, not so much but that's just her.

The Flu and The Millicent Repeller

I wrote these two fics almost a decade ago. In fact, I published published the Millicent Repeller on August 24th and just revamped it on August 2nd, 2019. So it's been quite a while. I felt like these two needed to be updated. And I did. Hope you like them.
