EDIT - February 19, 2019
Well... Did a bit of clean up on my profile. Mostly took out some recommendations I no longer recommend. I do hope to finish Totally Bizarre one day, but motivation is fickle. I've pretty much quit social media at this point, because it's far too easy to get addicted to the praises of others. The future seems uncertain. To those whose hopes I've gotten up and later dashed, over the years...I'm sorry. Thank you for your loyalty and support. And God bless you.

The Lord is my Shepherd and I am but a sheep. He is my inspiration and the source of all my creativity. And, really, I should give Him more credit. I never would have gotten anywhere as far as I am now in my fanfics without Him, and while not everything I write is necessarily 'holy', He helps me keep my attitude positive and my comedy light-hearted. For that, I am grateful. I hope that, even if you don't agree with my ideals, you can enjoy my works.

I’ve never been a person that’s been able to pick an absolute favourite thing, or even “Top 10” or “Top 5” of anything. This applies to foods, movies, anime, TV shows, etc. Just limiting myself to a Top Whatever would mean that I would leave out so many others that were just below that list. So, instead of listing my “Top 10” Suchandsuch, I’m going to give you a list of personal recommendations, whether it be TV shows or comics. If you haven’t heard of one of them before (like a movie, for example) I will try and include a link to a Google image or website hosting said recommendation. With that said, I hope you enjoy.
List of Recommendations
(in no particular order)
The Vinyl Café – (Canadian Radio Show)
Let’s start off with something most of you have never heard about. The Vinyl Café is a radio show that I’ve been listening to even as a kid. Saturday mornings being dragged out by my dad to the mountains to ski were always made a bit better with this show. I enjoyed it as a kid. I enjoy it now. If you visit Canada anytime soon, see if you can find these at a CD store, because these are seriously worth a listen.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid – (Books recently made into Movies)
I remember strolling down the book store one day and flipping through the first few pages of this book, wondering why it was so popular. What I read was awesome, but since I’m not much of a reader, I put it down. That’s why I wanted to see the movie as soon as it came out. I’ve seen the first, second, and third movie, and my gosh, the person who wrote this was amazing. Not only that, but the actors they picked for the movie are all perfect for their roles. Anyone who has experienced middle school will enjoy these books/movies.
Legend of Zelda: the Wind Waker – (Videogame)
This is pretty much a given, since most of my fanfics are based off this, but Zelda is one of my favourite videogame series. If not the favourite. But I don’t know since I have a hard time picking favourites. Anyway, this was the first Legend of Zelda game I ever played and I could not have picked a better one. I like Majora’s Mask better, yes, but this game gets a bad rap for no reason. If Ocarina of Time is a classic, then this is a must play.
Twilight the Musical – (Youtube show, incomplete)
I’ve noticed a lot of people praise A Very Potter Musical, but tend to overlook this one, even though it came out first. Twilight the Musical has everything a parody should – good humour, good characters, good actors, and some pretty catchy songs too. I still catch myself singing ‘Forks, Washington’ more than I do ‘Get Back To Hogwarts’. Though the actor for Edward and Charlie do a pretty dang good job, my favourite is the actress for Jessica. She always cracks me up. For fans and haters alike, check out this undead musical!
The Dreamland Chronicles – (Webcomic)
Like I said with Gunnerkrigg Court, I have high standards for comics. And honestly, this one is truly unique. The Dreamland Chronicles not only have fully 3D character models, but also complete 3D worlds for them to explore in. The visuals are amazing, the plot is unpredictable, and the characters aren’t half bad either. I think my favourite part about this story is how it flawlessly captures the sense of nostalgia. For me, at least. I’ve actually got three books of this comic lying around at home. Overall, a good adventure series.
Gilligan’s Island – (Older TV Show)
Everyone of my uncle’s generation or older has heard of this show. Yet, surprisingly, not many young people have. Well, obviously, it’s a classic. The characters are quirky, quite a few witty lines, and though the set up is kinda depressing, they still make it light-hearted, I could go on. If you’ve never heard of it, you can probably find the first episode on Youtube, so watch it if you have time.
Tales of Symphonia – (Videogame)
The cover or the old fanfics of mine really don’t do this game justice. This game is amazing and has the best plot I have ever seen in any media. The characters are great, the plot is great, and the various plot twists keep you on edge. It gets pretty dark at times, but this game has many witty moments too that don’t make it too depressing. A must play.
When Ignorance Fails (Deviantart Webcomic, Incomplete)
This is actually a comic I rediscovered recently in my DA favourites. And, dang was it a good find. While it isn't utterly amazing per say, it's cute, it's quirky, and definitely worth a read. The only disadvantage is that it hasn't updated in forever. Oh well. Minor setback. Enjoy the fifty some that are posted.
Escaflowne (Anime)
One of my childhood animes, and one I'll not soon forget. Even years later, this show still amazes me. The characters, the writing, and even the English version does a good job. From the creators of Wolf's Rain, do not let this show slip by. This anime is everything a fantasy should be.
nightlight (Book)
If Twilight the Musical is the best Twilight Parody (which it is. It truly is,) then nightlight is the second place. I just love how Belle Goose's perspective, since she is absolutely insane. Of course, there are other great parts, but most of the hilarity comes from her narrative. After all, don't we all wish to go to Cat Heaven? Anyway, if you've got the time, look for this book in your local book store.
PeanutButterGamer (Youtuber)
Not as well known as he should be, most of these guys videos are hilarious. When he reviews a videogame, he always makes me laugh, even at horror games. (For those of you who don't know, I am the biggest sissy ever when it comes to horror, and thus, never watch/play anything from said category.) Though, the ones I like are his MySims reviews, since he absolutely can't stand those games. I also love his Hatoful Boyfriend review, his Yoshi Story review, and his Putt Putt review.Either way, if you want a good Youtube Channel to check out, then go get some PBJ--I mean PBG.
…Yeah, I sound like a TV Marketer at the end of most of these… But seriously, guys, check some of these out if you have time.
