Author has written 86 stories for Tomorrow People, Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, Teen Wolf, Highlander, Phineas and Ferb, Being Human, Tomorrow People, 2013, Forever Knight, Listener, Wolfblood, Mako Mermaids, Leverage, Houdini and Doyle, Vampire Diaries, Arrow, Forever, and Legends of Tomorrow. ABOUT ME I'm a fanfic and fandom veteran, having been playing in both arenas since the earliest days of the internet (with an extended writing absence from 2004-2011). Yes, this means I'm not a teenager. I've written in a fair number of fandoms, and go through bouts of mono-fandomness and poly-fandomness. These days, most of my writing is for Highlander and The Tomorrow People, though I go wherever the mood strikes and the superpowers try to hide. Over the years, I've watched, written fanfic for, read fanfic for, and/or have thought about writing fanfic for many shows, though most of my early works are no longer available. A small sample of shows I've been into includes: The Tomorrow People (all versions), Highlander: the Series, 21 Jump Street, Do Over, Being Human (UK), Big Wolf on Campus, Teen Wolf, and The Listener. While I'll read gen, het, or slash, I write primarily gen, but will go anywhere the prompt and the muse takes me. I'm a huge fan of crossovers and am a firm believer that any fandom can be improved with a Highlander crossover :) I'm also really big into fests and memes, so a lot of my stories are written for other people based on provided prompts. I have participated in fandom_stocking (on DW) and Yuletide, and I'm an occasional player on comment-fic and fan_flashworks (all on LJ). I also keep signing up for themed bingo games. I like (in no particular order and non-inclusive): crossovers, canon characters/situations, missing scenes, prologues and epilogues, long form, and exploratory AUs, with my favorite genres being hurt/comfort and whump. The strongest compliment I can imagine is to be told that my fanfic reads like it could have been part of the show. I have no patience for crack!AUs, OOC writing, bad/sloppy grammar or spelling, and Mary Sue (though I'm certainly guilty of writing her back before I learned). Some of the Bingo challenges I've signed up for include AU Bingo, Hurt/Comfort Bingo, Angst Bingo, Trope Bingo, and Teen Wolf bingo. Due to the types of prompts involved, the resulting stories have varying degrees of crackiness (especially the ones from AU Bingo). For convenience sake, many of the fills are posted under anthology headers. Upended - Includes nine Teen Wolf fills from round 3 of AU Bingo. A total of 24 stories were written for this game across the fandoms of Teen Wolf, The Tomorrow People ('73 and '92), Highlander, Do Over, Phineas and Ferb, Leverage (crossover with Highlander), and Being Human (UK). Strength to Go On - Includes six Teen Wolf fills from round 4 of Hurt/Comfort Bingo. A total of 14 stories were written for this game across the fandoms of Teen Wolf, The Listener, H2O: Just Add Water, and original fiction. Four of the Teen Wolf stories also counted for Angst Bingo. Weight of the World - Includes six Teen Wolf fills from round 3 of Angst Bingo. A total of 25 stories were written for this game across the fandoms of Teen Wolf, Highlander, H2O: Just Add Water, The Listener, Sliders, and The Tomorrow People ('92). Four of the Teen Wolf stories also counted for H/C Bingo. I don't 'ship. All characters and relationships are possible, as long as I can visualize the characters together. For the record, I'm adamantly opposed to Derek/Stiles. Can't see it. At all. I do develop attachments to characters. If a character qualifies as a smart-ass kid with superpowers, s/he'll probably be my favorite. On my favorites list is Richie Ryan (Highlander), Adam Newman and Lisa Davies (The Tomorrow People), Quinn Mallory (Sliders), Andrew Clements (My Secret Identity), "Oz" Osbourne and Dawn Summers (Buffy), Connor (Angel), Scott McCall (Teen Wolf), and Stephen Jameson (The Tomorrow People '13).

It is also a stunning example of the challenges of writing things out of order. 1. "Something Called Living" - crossover 2. "Something Called Justice" - crossover 2a. "Screen Test" - crossover and time-stamp that doesn't yet connect to the rest of the universe 3. (placeholder; doesn't exist in any coherent form) 4. "Impersonation" - stand-alone, Highlander only. 5. "Something Called Honor" - crossover FEEDBACK I've always been a firm believer in feedback. The way I see it, if one is going to present one's works publicly, then one had better be prepared for public comment. Thanks for reading my stories. And thanks for any comments that'll help make me a better writer. I mean it. If you don't feel up to constructive comment, then a quote of your favorite line or bit of description is good, too. Like all fanfic writers, my only payment for writing is feedback, and I do love to hear from the people who've taken the time to read my stories. There is nothing more motivating than to get comments from my readers. OTHER STUFF Journal: I maintain a journal at . I'm also on tumblr at argentum-ls. Prompts: Sure. Shoot me a PM. I'm not making any promises, but something may come of it. Remix, Sequel, Prequel Policy: If you are so inclined, have fun. I'd love a PM so I can see the results. |
