I'm afraid I don't know how to describe myself as a beta reader. I like sci-fi, horror and monster stories a lot. I like lengthy and well-written chapters, like in Prehistoric Park: Extinction World by MortalKombat247 and Back From The Ashes by DaDog. Go check them out. They are both great authors, both of whom I have the pleasure of knowing personally. But that's beside the point. I also like stories with ensemble casts and morally problematic scenarios; I believe that makes for a more interesting story. I also like clear narrative propulsion based on logical conflict (A wants this because of X, B wants this because of Y, those goals conflict and so this happens, but then this happens, etc).

My strengths, my strengths; let's see now... Okay, I'm good with character interrelationships; how different characters interact with each other. This also means I'm good with backstories. Character arcs are a strength of mine; every character I write has an arc mapped out. My dialogue is meticulously character-specific and I try and write clear narrative propulsion based on logical conflict (A wants this because of X, B wants this because of Y, those goals conflict and so this happens, but then this happens, etc).

Hmmm. I need to think on this. I like a bit of humour, so I may tend to give suggestions on how to make a scene funny/funnier, even if it's unnecessary. I also like to adhere to a specific set of themes when I write, so I might unintentionally end up working them into the story.

I like sci-fi, horror and monster stories; especially those with dinosaurs or other prehistoric creatures in them. I'm also interested in stories featuring cryptids, aliens and giant monsters; due to being a lifelong sci-fi and monster movie fan.

Smut stories or stories with an overt political or religious bent. The first because I can't write it very well and the second because I don't normally write to be political (I just write because I enjoy it). I also don't like stories which are character-bashing; it's OK to like or dislike characters, but writing a story purely to slag them off is too much.
