Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
As a beta reader i'm new to it, I will fix up spelling errors and grammar and will also suggest alternative lines for your stories as I can edit quite well too. I don't expect much just a average level of skill in the English language though a mention in the authors notes stating I Beta'd it is expected. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I am VERY thorough, I have good spell check software and a keen eye, I may miss some things but I can remove 95% spelling errors during a read. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I have limited time due to full time employment and managing my home, so I might take a day or 2 to read your stuff. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
English only please, my preferences are in Anime/Manga and Game categories, I don't mind people using foreign words like honorifics in their work, but it must be English for now. Series like Muv Luv, Familiar of Zero, Harry Potter, Naruto, Evangelion etc. are where I shine. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
Anything not in the English language, my reading of French and German is too rusty to beta read them for now. |
